Today, we decided to check this place out, we had noticed the restaurant when obviously Hooters had closed; although when I paid the bill, it came up as Hooters on my credit card. Anyway, the restaurant is clean, lots of TV's to look at, it was quiet, but then again we came in about 4:30, so didn't expect it to be crowded. We did make it for Happy Hour which is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, they give you an option of fries or nachos as their Happy Hour special and they're called Happy Size, so we picked the Elote Fries and the Buffalo Loaded Fries, we did also chose some Nacho's, which we chose the Tijuana Nachos, we also ordered the Turkey, Bacon and Swiss Melt and 2 regular non-alcoholic beverages. We did look over their drink section and they have beer of course, some hard seltzers like White Claw and Topo Chico and about 6 listed specialty drinks and then a big choice of straight liquor as well. Our fries came out first, along with the nachos and they were all pretty good. Next time we come I would make sure to ask for maybe the lime on the side for the Elote Fries, they were a little too limey for us and if this dish is supposed to be based off street corn, please tell me why they use parmesan cheese as opposed to cotija cheese and it's not like they have it, because they used cotija on out Tijuana nachos, I think they need to re-evaluate that choice and change it to cotija and then my score would go up (7.5/10), the Loaded Buffalo fries were very good, you have the option of fried chicken or grilled chicken, we chose fried (8/10) and then the Tijuana nachos, these were very tasty, the chips I believe were dusted with a possible taco seasoning and the jalapeños were fresh, crispy and super spicy (8.5/10). Our sandwich came out after which was the Turkey, Bacon and Swiss Melt we chose onion rings as our side, the sandwich was pretty stacked and not lacking in ingredients, the onion rings were nice and hot and tasted very good, not greasy (8.5/10). All in all I'd go back again and try more options on the menu, I did notice that the online menu doesn't seem to offer as much as the in the restaurant menu they aren't uniformed, or they need to fix their website. A few of the appetizers like the jalapeño rounds, stuffed sriracha jalapeños, cauliflower buffalo bites and smoked Gouda Mac and cheese bites were not on their online menu and their sandwich options were not listed on their website either. I do wish they had a few entree options since it's all burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and some tacos and quesadillas, I would have liked to see maybe some pasta options, although on the kids menu (Zoey Lil Homies Specials) they had pasta and butter as an option and then maybe a chicken dish, beef/steak, pizza, and a couple more options and for the sides more options too, they only have fries, tots, sweet potato fries and onion rings, no normal sides like Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, rice or something else and no soups, but salad choices. A place to at least try once and mark off your list, but as I said we'll be back and try them again. The staff was very friendly and pretty attentive to our needs, I think our server was new, so she got a pass at not being speedy.

Food: The food here is actually quite good! I always get the mozzarella sticks which I appreciate how much marinara they give for them & the crunchwrap burger which is like a Big Mac & crunchwrap had a baby. So good. I tried the jalapeño rings this last time and I won't be getting it again. Not for me. Service: Hayley has been our bartender / server and she's really nice. Makes sure we have everything and checks in on us regularly.

    Fremont Wings

Okay, so I was a huge fan of Hooters Spicy Garlic Wings, so when I saw Hooters was gone, I was pretty upset. I thought I would never get my favorite wings again, but was told that Left Coast is just a rebranding, with the original crew from Hooters, just different name. I couldn't find a menu online, so I went in and found they have my Spicy Garlic and a few new flavors, with a few of the other classics like General Tsao and Daytona Beach being gone. I decided to try Spice Garlic, which is the exact same flavor! I also tried the Fremont flavor, which is now my new favorite! Also, the wings are HUGE, like HUGE HUGE! The menu is a lot bigger, so I have some new stuff to try, but I'm happy my favorite wings spot is still here, just a different name. One thing I would like to see, since it's West Coast themed, is some Chili Cheese Fries, Tacos and a classic California style Pastrami sandwich with mustard and pickles only, not New York style like every other place who sells pastrami

Let me start on positive note. The service was good. It was quick and efficient. The blue cheese burger was not bad. Had a jelly sauce that complemented the harsh cheeses well. Instead of fries asked for tots. $2 additional charge for substitution. The tots were decent and crispy. Just like the one you buy at the freezer section of the supermarket. We also ordered the "Tijuana Nachos". The reason we ordered the Tijuana Nachos was because the menu stated it had "melted cheese" instead of the "gooey cheese" listed for the other nachos. However when we received them they had gooey yellow cheese directly from a can. It was not melted cheese as advertised. We asked but we're told the yellow cheese was melted cheese. So, not sure what the "gooey" cheese listed for the other nachos is since melted = gooey. Also, what was worse than the gooey can cheese was that the cheese was cold. I think warming up can cheese is a required skill for any restaurant. Ambiance was so-so. There was a light above the fan which made it into a strobe light effect which we were told they are fixing. Overall the nachos receive 1 star. The burger gets 4. Service 3. Ambiance 2-3. So a fair review is 2.5. Using my math skills I rounded up.

This is my go to spot on my weird work schedule. Lefty and the day girls, Haily and Courtney are great! Very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home. The new food menu has a great variety and the machines are very player friendly.

Left Coast Burger - B1G1 deal. Couldn't finish it all.

First time ordering from here via Postmates. I ordered B1G1 Left Coast Burger with Fries...Worth it! Cheeseburger hit the spot , juicy burger with soft bun. Fries could've been a little more crispy and less salty but overall will definitely order again!

Came here after a bust to find parking at Bj's. Boy am I glad we did. This is the old hooters location. The food is different from hooters and well worth the visit. My husband had the mushroom burger and I had Tijuana nachos. The nachos are big enough to share. We also had the gouda Mac and cheese bites and the portion and taste did not disappoint. Ariana was very attentive and sweet. We will be back.

    Thanks for having us @leftcoast

Donald took really good care of our entire group of 18 guests! We actually came over form BJ next door because they said our group was too big. (Read my post on their yelp account) long story short! The staff - owner and restaurant were friendly clean and all down to have a good time! Great atmosphere food and incredible service

Ask the Community - Left Coast Gaming Tavern

First off, RIP Spring Valley Hooters! This was my go to place for Wings, specifically the Spicy Garlic Wings!!! They were my all time favorite. I was told the menu is bigger, but do you still have Spicy Garlic and buy 10, get 10 on Tuesdays?

As of 01/05/23, they said they no longer have the Spicy Garlic sauce.

When you go out, most places - not all, but most - you need to say medium rare if you want medium, rare if you want medium rare, and... well, that's about it, because if you order anything from medium well to well done than you just shouldn't be eating burgers. But this place, I asked for medium rare, feeling like a medium that day, and it came out the most perfect rare I have ever had! The char on the outside of this obviously hand made patty, while still being heated through all the delicious pink inside! Oh man! I don't think I need to say much more. The wife had the chicken strips and fries, which she said were "perfectly portioned at three strips." Service was as good as any place should be. And prices weren't bad at all.

I especially loved the salmon, which was cooked beautifully, and the brown rice was surprisingly so flavorful. Paired with the avocado, it made for such a satisfying combination. My toddler's favorite was the fettuccine alfredo--she couldn't get enough of it! One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the chef-owner. He was incredibly kind, and you can truly tell how much care and love he puts into his food. That passion comes through in every dish, making the whole experience feel thoughtful and genuine. Whether you're meeting up with friends, enjoying a family meal, or simply looking for a delicious local spot, I highly recommend Salt & Spoon. We'll definitely be back!

It's also a gorgeous restaurant so you feel like you are going to a nice brunch or night out when you go. They have recently renovated and it looks much brighter in there. They also have some booth style seats which is great for parties because you can have a bit of separation. Our family personally loves the back semi-private dining room in the back. Calamari, portobello fries, truffle fries, and the sweet potato fries are always crowd favorites choices for apps. I love the portobello fries the most. I have had mostly brunch here but the menus are not limited to only the brunch menu. We love ordering savory foods and then ordering a sweet brunch item to share. All the pastas are good and have a big serving. I personally haven't ever had the same entree twice but everything has always taste good here. The one thing we really really love about this place is their affordability. You get big portions and it's not going to break your bank. Most entrees are $20 and under. You do not see that a lot anymore! Service is really nice but can be a little slow sometimes. We don't feel like it ruins the experience because we're spending time with family. If the bar was truly closed, why were two customers already sitting there? If there was a specific reason, it should have been explained instead of simply turning us away. The inconsistency made us feel unwelcome and gave us a poor first impression. I hope management can improve communication and provide a more consistent experience for future guests.

That made me feel more confident about the cleanliness of this restaurant and the fact that they care about their patrons.
