One of my favorite features is the Walk of Presidents upstairs. The lifelike presidential statues are fascinating, and you can listen to each president's story as you stroll through history. Kids (and adults!) will also love the indoor Ferris wheel (only $1 a ride), the classic shooting gallery, arcade-style attractions, bowling, the candy shop, and the impressive aquarium. You could easily spend a couple of hours here even if you're not shopping. Don't miss the cafeteria if you get hungry. It's a great place to grab a bite, and while you're there, be sure to stop by the fudge counter. They offer free samples of their delicious homemade fudge, making it hard to leave without buying a piece or two! When it comes to shopping, they truly have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, shoes, sporting goods, camping gear, coolers, golf equipment, water toys, or just about anything for the outdoors, chances are you'll find it here. The selection is incredible. What really stands out is the customer service. Every employee I've encountered has been cheerful, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Located at Legends in Sparks, Scheels is one of my favorite places to browse, shop, and spend an afternoon. Whether you're shopping, exploring, or just looking for a fun family outing, this place has something for everyone!

Both times we were in here the gals working were super helpful and friendly even giving my daughter advice on dorm life and which items to get for her keys, etc. Prices are on par with any college campus store and nothing felt more expensive than expected. They do have some clearance racks which were great! It says a lot that we came back (walked from our air bnb) twice in one day. I'm sure our family Xmas gifts will come from this store from our daughter. Ha!

Customer service is very poor, seemingly resentful, bordering on hostile, and not of a singular source. When I asked for help finding an item, all I received was stink eye and a Babe Ruth point. Upon checking out I asked to borrow a pair of scissors to remove some price tags from my order and was completely ignored. No one asked if I was a student to receive any discount. Are there veteran discounts? Who knows? Look at my reviews, most are fantastic and positive, so when I feel compelled to rate a business with two stars there must be a crack in the armor somewhere. So own it, look it in eye and fix it, or shake your head in disgust and blame the consumer. I'm guessing this place will choose the later option.

If you are following, you know I visited all 3 locations this week!…read more Guess I am a loyal customer. Quality/Quantity - Got a new pair of running/walking shoes a few days ago at their other location. And believe it or not, they had another pair in my size at their Lakeside location! I did not buy it as I want to break the first pair in. I also saw the one I am replacing there, lol. If you are following, you already know I have been shopping for a new pair of Hoka shoes. And I finally found a place that had what I needed and wanted. They actually had my size! Thank you. I did not know Hoka also made slippers...? Might have to get one in the future also. My wife also got a pair of shoes the other day and put another pair on hold in this Sparks location. This location is smaller than the one we visited in South Reno, but larger than the Lakeside location, but still has a decent selection of high end good quality shoes for running and walking. Atmosphere - Clean and well organized. Obviously supports the running community, see all the pictures. Open 6 days a week from 10am to 5pm or 6pm. Closed Sundays. Water fountain station. Service - Only one person was working today. He did a great job with the two other ladies he was helping and helping my wife in between. And an amazingly hard worker. They are also willing to order for you if needed. And match prices if needed.. Price - $130. It pays to pay for quality. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1994 and 2021 with the new owners and with your 3 locations. It's so great to see small local businesses thrive. Support local!

I went in on 10/4/2023 with my mom and we were looking for good supportive shoes. My ortho doctor recommended coming here for said shoes. Leland and John were the ones in store today, so my mom and I each got a one on one experience. John helped me and he was super patient and listened to my requests and preferences for shoes. I ended up walking out with a pair of Brooks and Hokas, as I couldn't decided between the two which I liked better. My mom found a pair that she liked, but the Sparks store did not have her size. So Leland called the Reno location and placed her size on hold so we could go pick it up in person. Would definitely recommend Reno Running company and will continue to come back to them for solid shoes.

We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And thank you for also giving 1% to not-for-profit workers "to defend the earth." And having programs that raise awareness of environmental and social issues. My favorite program is Worn Wear. You can either sell Patagonia your used clothes or trade them in so they can fix it. I believe that reusing is better than recycling. Furthermore, they give you credit ranging from $15 to $150.
