    Mahi tacos

Not bad for a beach food stand. When I ordered at the counter, I didn't realize there is an additional $2.50 service fee added to the bill. I would've tipped the same, but still wish I had known about this secret charge The mahi tacos are edible but bland which was fine since I don't except much from a glorified concession stand. The homemade Bloody Mary is good but I didn't detect alcohol so really it was just spicy, $9 tomato juice. I'm giving this place 3 stars for convenience, location and being decent. Overpriced but expected. By no means is this spot to eat 5 stars. If it's getting that rating I want what that person is drinking. lol

When we arrived we visited the food stand for breakfast and they were so nice. We also used the QR code on the sign and that was great because you don't have to leave your beach chair. You place the order and it's delivered to the lifeguard and you just meet them to get it. The food and drinks were good.

It's a really hot day at Siesta Beach - 90 degrees! So, we probably won't stay that long but at least we can have a light lunch here. We are splitting a Shrimp wrap and a Margarita. Both taste pretty good. The service was good and they are doing well here at the beach.

We passed a small pop up tent with signs advertising Oxtail along the side of the road. My eyes lit up when I saw oxtail mentioned as I went without breakfast this morning..take a chance on this sidewalk vendor, or eat trash food at the airport before our flight? The choice was easy! Thankfully, a generous portion of food piled high presented itself, at fair prices too ($21 for the Oxtail plate with can soda.) Not only visually welcoming, the smell was enticing and the taste was outstanding! Plastic fork tender oxtails, the fat was rendered well and the yellow rice was drenched in the delicious Oxtail Stew. Collard Greens with plenty of vinegar tang accompanied along with a solid Mac n Cheese shell. Chef reps Louisiana heritage and it shows. He only serves Oxtail on Sunday's, so save the date if your local or visiting like us on a Sunday....might just be the highlight of your trip ;) On the corner of North 22nd & East Emma Street. Enjoy!

It's a classic casserole of garlicky oil sauce and seafood or crab over pasta. Name is believed to be a short form of "enchilado", not enchilada, but ENCHILADO, a spicy sauce with chilis. It's a traditional Tampa dish like cuban sandiwches and deviled crabs but I can't seem to get my hands on any. Next week he told me..

We were in and out in no time, the Waffle was light and fluffy as it should be and the Mango added a nice touch along with the whip cream...did not need any heavy syrup at all. They seem to wait on tables as a group so no one really checks in during breakfast. One person seats you and gets drinks, one person takes your order and another person delivers food with the check... but no one typically checks if you need drinks, condiments, etc. we didn't have any refills on today's visit and the table next to us I guess didn't drop off the check with food so they waited 30'minutes before going up to the bar and finding someone to hunt down a check.
