The office had called a couple days earlier to confirm but made no mention of needing a card at that time. When I complained about having lost the appointment the office manager accused me of trying to avoid paying - even though giving her the card information was never a problem! Calling half an hour ahead of time when I wasn't available and then cancelling the job (even though I returned the call within half an hour) was the problem. She refused to give me the name or any contact information of the franchise owner apparently aware of her own dysfunction and not wanting anyone at the company to find out.
