I had a specific budget and Josh was incredibly attentive to this. The entire experience was efficient and stress-free unlike so many car purchases. Josh is exceptionally knowledgable and professional. With this knowledge he represents Toyota at the highest level. I have already recommended him to local friends who are Toyota owners for their next car. If you are looking for an honest and genuinely helpful car purchase, go see Joshua Schumacher. The Heartland Toyota dealership is a large, pleasant and impressive experience.

I had my brakes changed on my 4Runner at this establishment on September 2025. 5,000 miles later I show up for an oil change and it's lightly requested that I change my rear brakes as they have worn down to 6mm. Again, it was suggested by Heartland that I replace the brakes that they had already replaced 5,000 miles ago. The Advisor is great (he was merely communicating what was reported), and I'm sure the technician also accurately reported the pad thickness. So why was my pad length so low when Heartland had just replaced them 5,000 miles ago? I don't tow, don't go off-roading, and most of my driving is easy highway driving. Everything else on my inspection shows that everything with the car is fine, there is nothing with a caliper that might contribute to excessive wear. I've never even felt nor heard anything to suggest this wear. My car was also aligned and is not out of alignment. So what caused my rear brakes to wear down so quick (mind you, my front brakes stay at the same pad thickness from September 2025 to July 2026). Don't rear brakes wear at a vastly level of front brakes? Never experienced this in CO where my weekdays were spent in literal stop and go traffic and weekends were spent going up and down mountains past 10,000 feet in elevation. There, my brakes would last 2 years. At Heartland, my rear brakes got to half their pad length in just 5,000 miles. I attempted to call to further inquire about this inconsistency but was not able to get a hold of anyone. I'm currently waiting on a service manager to call (hasn't happened yet) , but also since this seems to such an anomalously absurd situation, I figured this merited the initial one star review. I'll revise if this is treated with some sense of acknowledgement or care. So the question is. What brakes did Heartland put on my car. Or did they even put new brakes on my car. I'm not some hard-driving rural cretin, my other car is a Volvo XC90 that I take into Seattle for service. Every single car of mine has gone over 250,000 miles, and I have had this car serviced at a Toyota dealership like clockwork, and I have NEVER encountered this before. This whole thing is confounding.

One negative is that the business charges 3% for a CC fee (everyone uses CC today for a variety of reasons down to identity theft). When you think of the taxes and the high costs of labor, this can be high. This is why I am debating on returning here to conduct maintenance. I may only use them to perform warranty work. 1 star as the dealership makes plenty of money that they can absorb this fee as many mom and pop stores all over do. This is the cost of doing business and you can tax write it off.

They want an additional $350 to unplug my controller and plug in the new one. Remind you my dash is already tore apart exposing the brake controller and one single power harness. When I called to ask why, their sales manager hung up on me. Really?! Worst customer service i have ever been subjected to. Will drive out of town to have future maintenance performed on my truck. Do not buy anything from Bremerton GMC. EVER!

We pulled into a gas station hauling 8,000 pounds of heavy equipment in a rented box truck--specifically, the launch gear needed for an entire town's Fourth of July fireworks show. We put $5 of gas into the tank, only to look down and realize $5 of gas was currently pouring directly onto the pavement. Luckily, the actual fireworks weren't on board yet, but without this gear, the town was going to be staring at a very dark, very quiet sky. In a total panic, with visions of thousands of angry, disappointed townspeople flashing before my eyes, I drove over to Port Orchard Ford hoping for a miracle. Enter the absolute legends: Rick (the repair manager) and Chad (the mechanical wizard). Instead of telling us to take a number, they treated our looming disaster like their own emergency. Rick immediately pulled a talented mechanic for the job, and in an incredibly short amount of time, Chad diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and got us back on the road. They didn't just fix a truck; they saved the holiday for an entire town.- Terrific, quick job by great people. They've earned our business from here on out.

However, due to their mistake, I have to wait 6-8 weeks for $9,500 to fall off of my loan with the lender and refinance to lower my note to what it should have initially been. Additionally, I've emailed TWICE about the brake pad warnings popping up on my car when I haven't had it two weeks and my dealer warranty is still 3 months. No one has been responding, so my next move is to show up to the dealership. I will not be changing my review to add stars unless my brakes are fixed or someone compensates me for having them fixed elsewhere. Shop here at your own discretion, but heed my warning...there are far better places to go, especially if you are a woman. __________________ OP: I had an extremely long review written out, but it has since expired so I will come back to re-write this at a later date. Gist: Rayvin is great! Finance added $3,500 in charges for "accessories" (car didn't even come with a spare tire much less accessories) and United Care Care ($6,000 undisclosed) onto my contract without showing me beforehand. I had my son with me, so I was a little preoccupied, but the finance employee breezed over paperwork without disclosing line items. I got home and read through my paperwork far more thoroughly and noticed these charges. Now I am responsible for $9,500 I did not consent to and feel like they straight up f*cked me over simply because I did not have my husband with me and was distracted with my child. I said no, I do not want to book an appointment. How much is the vehicle? I was sent a text with the amount of the vehicle as well as photos. I looked through the photos and decided to go another direction. The next day I continue to receive text messages so I responded with STOP just like any other time Im receiving text messages that are no longer relevant. STOP requests to be removed from the texting and contact list. Next, I received a phone call confirming that I have typed STOP via text. The person then began askingmore questions...Do I want to come in? Am I buying a vehicle? Have I already bought from them? This was after I had already asked for communication to STOP. I finally hung up the phone. From there, I continue to receive text messages, which I replied STOP. I then said I do not want to receive any more communication. Please STOP calling me. Please STOP texting me. YELP- I wish you had an option to post screenshots. The person that is calling me and text me was apparently the "BOSS" or owner. He accused me of wasting his time. He accused me of making fake inquiries. Following i received more text messages from him. I told him to STOP contacting me or I would contact the attorney general and he said "Good, do it'" "He'll just tell you to stop making fake inquiries". Obviously this dealership has been dealing with fake inquiries of some sort. The fact that their solution is to accuse buyers that don't purchase from them as as fake or wasting their time I completely unprofessional and unhinged. There was absolutely no reason to continue engaging text or phone call. After seeing the photos and the price, I am simply not interested in the vehicle. I can't even imagine having gone through with going to see the vehicle or God forbid purchasing from them. I've purchased a vehicle before and something went wrong within the first week after the purchased. I can only imagine what it would be like to have to deal with these people. ***Shop elsewhere. Save yourself the drama.
