Nice place
Fred B.

Beautiful place with nice background music. Service was attentive but execution was frankly poor. We were through starters before the wine that was ordered before the starters showed up. The place was not busy. Delivery of the mains was scattered over 15 minutes. Our group was only 6. Overall the food was very good.

Came here last night to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. The ambiance and vibes are top tier and the views are exceptional, especially during night time. The indoor area is beautiful and loved the decor. Our server, Cyndi, was truly exceptional. Her attentiveness was off the charts and was genuine. I also appreciate how sweet she was to my 9 year old! I had the grilled NY strip steak and it was terrific. Perfect temperature and was flavorful and juicy. The mashed potatoes with gravy and the arugula salad were also delicious. Had the prickly pear lemonade and is my new favorite! We will definitely be back

This restaurant is inside the JW Marriott Starr pass which was included with our booking. Food was delicious and service was amazing. I have no complaints. Wyatt and Shelby at the front were friendly, professional and respectful.

Easter Brunch

It had been years since we visited this lovely resort but decided to do their Easter Brunch at $110 pp. we had a reservation and were seated right next to the server station. When I asked if we could have another of their several empty tables... the young lady said they were specifically assigned to certain people... what? Okay. Underwhelming on the food/brunch for that price point, and to only include a few standard breakfast beverages was a bummer. They had tons of inexpensive filler foods... the French toast was cold, the scalloped potatoes crunchy (eg potatoes still raw). My hubby did get his fill of shrimp and I enjoyed a couple of the very nice desserts they had on display. It was unclear if Mimosas were included, as we were never offered and noticed at the end other tables imbibing. Server Brenda was absolutely the best part of the entire experience... all smiles and very attentive. The valet guys were great too.

Chocolate cake

I'm such a dessert lover especially for chocolate. I've tried all the desserts at this place and usually the crème brûlée is my to go to but I decided to get the chocolate cake this time and they changed it up. They put these crunchy balls on top which I wasn't a fan of. Also too much cream on top. Other than that you can see that it's pretty much the same. Wish they served it with more fruit! That would be such a nice compliment. Always sit near the bar - Noelle is a great bartender and goes out of her way to make you feel appreciated and taken care of! The music they play is jazzy and calming. There is hooks underneath the bar to hang your purse. It's a very lovely place to go have a nice drink or dessert for me Thank you!

The waitress was first class. Excellent service and attention. The food was beautifully presented but pretty ordinary tasting. Good lunch menu.

Every year for my birthday I take myself out to a nice lunch alone. Since I had been to this restaurant and bar several times over the last few months, I went back today. My go to is the Ahi Tuna Tostadas. Fresh and cut perfectly. It's not a tartar, it's full chunks of tuna! (I should have taken a photo.) I sat at the bar and Ari was amazing! She not only made recommendations for cocktails but she also checked on me frequently and was so friendly! My food came out timely and was so delicious! The bar area is quiet and since it was a Friday afternoon, there was not a lot of people there. It's really pretty at night too when the stars are out. The staff brought me out this birthday dessert but since I was so full, I was only able to eat the cheesecake! Thank you all for a great experience!

Beignets... I ate 2 before photo... yum!!
Lorean W.

Beignet for breakfast and coffee.... Delicious... beignets were fluffy on the inside, crispy outside and dusted in cinnamon sugar with strawberry and chocolate cinnamon sauce for dunking. I wanted to just drink the strawberry sauce so good. Ordered at the bar and lady bar tender was very friendly and helpful. I'll have to come back to try entrees next time. Restaurant is nice and open with view.

Located in the JW Marriott resort, open for breakfast and lunch and then again for dinner, offering a massive buffet as well as omelet, pancake and waffles stations, this spot did not disappoint! I ate here for breakfast 2 days out of the 3 while I was in Tucson and food was fantastic! I was working so not really able to take too many pictures but managed to get one of the breakfast menu and my yummy whole wheat blueberry pancakes and Turkey sausage. If you are nearby or staying. Highly recommend this spot however be prepared to pay $32 for that Buffett or $20+ for breakfast.

Well, we found the one place to order ahi tuna in Tucson. ;) and it was great! The service was fantastic, the view spectacular, ambiance resort-like, and location a bit far out but it's it's own world so once you're there, enjoy!

Quesadilla

We had 2 meals here during our stay. 1 late lunch and one dinner which we had invited friends. Disliked it was a credit card on Open Table to make a reservation. Not necessary & they weren't busy enough to need to exercise this. Very nice patio with great views. Servers are efficient and friendly. Food is descent but nothing special. The steak was tough for 2 entrees. The queso with chorizo was huge and pretty good. The churro beignets are really delicious. Creme brûlée was nice as was the chicken quesadilla.

Very beautiful restaurant with an awesome vibe. Food was delicious. Waiter had great customer service. The cocktail drinks were perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the resort.

Worst service ever! I would not recommend to anyone. Waited over an hour just for drinks.

Came here again after many years. Dragoon IPA is still one…read moreof my favorite IPAs, and this coming from someone who doesn't really like IPAs. I came here with my husband and son on a Friday night. Not too busy and they don't serve food but have a rotating food truck out in their parking lot. You'll see the sign for the taproom from the road and turn in. Continue all the way down past the shipping docks and you'll see the sign once you make a left. Decent amount of parking available. They sell more beers than what you see of theirs in the stores. They also have rotating guest beers. Pours are offered in 4oz and 10oz, which is nice if you don't want to drink too much or are trying to pace yourself/taste different beers. They also sell various merchandise, likes hats, shirts, etc. One thing I'm starting to add in my reviews is if there is a changing table now that I have a baby. They have a changing table in the large stall in the women's bathroom; not sure about men's bathroom and they do not have a family restroom.

I asked the beertender if I could sample a couple of their wheat beers, and they were more than happy to help. I ended up going with their American Wheat (super refreshing, crisp, and easy to drink). My friend opted for the Pilsner, which was just as solid and well-balanced. The only downside is that they don't serve the beer in proper glassware (everything comes in plastic cups), which takes away a bit from the overall experience. That said, the atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the beer is delicious. Definitely a spot worth checking out

The building has all sorts of funky character which we appreciate over the cookie cutter buildings and slick interiors of many of the resturants you visit when on the road. Service was brisk and pleasant. Make sure you wander about the dining areas as we were leaving my husband spotted the Master Griller behind a glass wall outside another dining room performing his craft! Excellent!
