    Paella
    Roberts R.

Total Score 3/5 Food/Beverage (1/3) - The presentation, look, and freshness of most ingredients are what gives this at least a 1 out of 3 stars for me. What drops the two other stars are the lack of flavor and the garlic seemed to be the only thing old. The food could have used a bit more salt and spices, it relied too much on the natural flavors which was lacking. The garlic in our Hummus Platter was old and we could tell because the garlic was over potent and spicy as can be. The wife's Pasta Carbonara was probably the best item we had, it did have good flavor and was plenty to share if you're not starving. I had the Paella which was large enough for 3 people but was bland. I add a squeeze of lemon for taste, but definitely was lacking in flavor. Finally, to drink I had a Vodka Martini standard with 3 olives; hard to mess that one up. Service/Staff (1/1) - No complaints here. It wasn't busy when we arrived, so the 1 server and 1 bartender were able to take care of us. They were polite and attentive to us. Location (1/1) - This one is interesting because it is a really nice, well kept restaurant, but it is located within the Sheraton Tucson Hotel & Suites. If you are not staying at the hotel you have to enter through a side entrance, go through a lobby, then you'll be able to enter the restaurant. Even though it is hidden, the cleanliness and look and atmosphere is what keeps this star.

    Salmon. Pretty good

Too bad this place is hidden in the Sheraton Hotel! This place is pretty darn good and is consistent. I've stayed at the Sheraton a few times for work and usually end up at the Glowbal for dinner. The place is usually not that busy and they have happy hour until 7. The HH menu has around five bar snacks for under $7 and deals on drinks of course. The full menu is very cool and it actually glows. There is a wide variety to choose from such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches and full plates. I have tried the salmon and the curry chicken. Both are delicious. I also like their tots. So crunchy and good. The only thing they can improve is the ambiance. They need to get this place poppin. It is way to dead and boring to have all that good delicious food.

UK fish & Chips. The peas are perfect.

What a cute little hidden gem! I would not have expected this from a hotel restaurant in town. There's a full bar and the menu has a variety of options that sound tasty. We sat inside and ordered onion rings, fish & chips, Sonoran enchiladas, butter cake & chocolate cake. All was DELICIOUS!! Ivan was our server and he is fantastic! He was attentive, suggested items on the menu and was very friendly. The fish breading is light & flaky, the fish is moist - juicy, even! The enchiladas are flavorful with the perfect amount of tomatillo in the sauce. It's fresh and modern. You have to walk through the lobby to the center of the property near the pool. Signs lead directly to the Glowbal. The pool looks nice and the restaurant patio is situated right next to it. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. I've been to other hotel restaurants in town and this one is definitely at the top of my list. We'll be back. I have to try the rest of the menu!

Excellent service at this place! Thanks Ivan for such an attentive and hospitable attitude. Had the angus burger which was wonderful and able to have a side salad as an alternative to the French fries. The salad was lovely and loaded with cucumbers and the dressings were delicious. Also enjoyed the guacamole which was a very nice sized portion to share! This place sits poolside at the Sheraton and has a very nice bar area, indoor and outdoor seating, and great happy hour drink deals too.

Excellent, as a high level Marriott member and a 250 day a year traveler this place is a treat. Since COVID it's been a mission to find above average hotel restaurant-bar. This place has it all great happy hour, great and healthy food options.

Great experience for paint nite. Highly recommend due even if you don't know how to paint. The instructor is very helpful and knows how to inspire everyone to fully follow their vision while keeping it light and fun. Not to mention making you feel accomplished at the end after everything. Great date idea and the drinks were at the right price. Me and my date both loved it.

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!

There were four of us and we got two appetizers, which was more food that we needed! The serving sizes are very generous. We had nachos and an order of cauliflower. The only downside was we had to ask her plates, we had to ask for silverware, we had to ask for napkins, we had to ask for water refills. Maybe they were just a little understaffed for a Tuesday night, but it will not deter me from coming back. In fact, I highly recommend it. Perfect for a summer night. And I can't quite leave this review without saying the ambience of the setting was just perfect. Lots of shade trees areas for families to play, there were cornhole games going on, there was another sitting area with a waterfall, I could see when I was leaving out there is a dedicated play area for children. There was nothing wrong with the food and our drinks were delicious. Interestingly, the specialty drinks had no prices on the menu and my drink was $15 on our bill which was ok with me because it was very good. Our server was so rude throughout our evening. We asked him about the drinks and we were left to feel like it was an inconvenience. His demeanor and attitude was just so rude. Any questions we had about the menu he seemed so angry. He hardly said anything to us all evening. I tried to make some light hearted comments and he told me he didn't appreciate it as he was so busy. All of the other servers seemed fine. Between the four of us for a cocktail and food we easily spent $50 each. My husband and I typically tip 20-25% because we know serving is hard work. Needless to say he didn't quite get 10%. Love the atmosphere but felt like we weee on egg shells with this guy. I would go back but would not have him as our server.

I love that the entire dinner menu is 20% off for happy hour 4pm-6pm. The menu changes seasonally and the food tasted very fresh and interesting. I hope to see them add some plant-based items to their breakfast and lunch menus the next time the menu shifts with the season. Vegan, vegetarian and GF items are clearly marked. Came here for girl's night and it was everyone's first time even at the restaurant but mine. I'd had dinner a couple times in the restaurant for my birthday and had the cheese wheel fettuccine alfredo. I asked if anyone was interested in trying it and so 3 of us split it which ended up being pretty perfect. It is hands down THE BEST fettuccine alfredo. We had many drinks come to our table, the first round being the homemade limoncello. Made with local Meyer lemons, it is deliciously potent. A must try. The bartender, Ryan or Brian, he made cocktails from the heart. A couple of gals ordered "dealer's choice" drinks and they were inspired by the drinker's stories. It was really a unique experience for them and I could almost see his mind working out the chemistry of the libations. Another must try, although I didn't because I had to drive myself home. I did have a coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto, and freshly-made whipped cream. Last must try if not on a coffee drink maybe on a dessert. One person in our party thought that the drinks were on the spendy side. Many of the ingredients were house made and all top shelf. I'm from Los Angeles so an $18 drink was a normal night at the klerb. Worth mentioning if that would be a deal breaker. Worth a go. I thought it was better than the speakeasy at the Sonoran House which was too bright and not intimate. You really like feel more like you're not where you're supposed to be at The Still. There is a curio cabinet with cigars that I think are for sale. The speakeasy opens up to the patio for all the smoke suckers. Great for a small groups or date night, maybe not the first date.
