We were flying out of the Albany Airport around dinner time and decided to get some dinner at this restaurant. It was very busy but service was still pretty quick. The menu offers appetizers, salads, burgers, and a few sandwiches. I opted for the chopped salad. It tasted great. My husband had the grilled chicken tacos. Overall, a good experience.

Since you're captive, I guess you have to accept this as an option. The alternatives are Uncommon Grounds /bagel place, Chick Fil-A, or other gross fast food. There is a small tap room in B-wing offering salads, sandwiches and quesadillas - but nothing substantial. The staff here just DO NOT CARE if you like it or not. Which makes sense, because you probably won't like it. They've kinda given up. They won't dare to ask what you think.....they already know. The bartender is happy to chat up solo guys.... repeatedly mentioning she's a newly single mom. That's one tactic to try to get tips, I guess. She puts her phone down in front of the register to make it look like she's doing work while she's clearly just texting and watching videos. Providing just the bare minimum level of customer attention so they can't escape. Who can blame her though, really? The salmon in the salmon bowl is so overcooked and salty it's like salmon jerky. I left the entire piece (minus one bite) in the unfinished bowl on the top of the rice. She looked right at it.... "Ready for the check sir?" That was her only question and our only dialog after taking my order and warning me "The dressing you asked to not get is the best part". She was probably right. The guacamole and raw veggies were fine. The rice was acceptable. Their business model simply depends on being the only restaurant here that isn't a chain/fast food. Well... that and them gambling that you've forgotten how bad Silks was last time you were stuck in the Albany Airport. I guess... since this is the only real option that isn't fast food... you could go here. They make a wide variety of drinks and you can sit in comfy bar stools. That part is ok. Just be prepared to be disappointed, treated like you don't matter, and served food no one cares about. One good thing about Silks being in an airport.... Since the service, food and atmosphere are forgettable... both you and hopefully your memory of this place will soon be gone. The salmon bowl with an 18% tip cost $38.

My burger was very large and pretty good but drippy. The fries were so so. The Parmesan didn't really add anything.

Great service, decent drink and food selection. The burger was nice. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyed it. Lots of room and televisions for all your sport needs while waiting for your flight

We stopped here for a light breakfast before catching our flight home, and it was a great choice. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I shared an omelette and tater tots, which were perfect for a quick meal. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and overall, it was a pleasant experience for breakfast.

Decided to stop in while I waited for a flight out of Albany airport (note this is after security, so not accessible to the general public) - I sat at the bar, where a perfectly cheery bartender promptly asked me what I wanted. I ordered a Sam Adams and the steak tacos. The beer was promptly delivered and about 1/3 through my beverage, the tacos arrived. Three small tacos, with a delicious Chimichurri sauce on the side. I wasn't sure the tacos would suffice (they seemed small) but when combined with the beer, I felt satisfied. They were tasty (thanks to the aforementioned sauce) - but were warm, not hot. I'd consider this a "serviceable" place. Not great, not bad, but acceptably adequate. If you're traveling and would like a bite to eat that isn't fast food, this seems like it'd be okay to fill that need.

Came into grab a bite before my flight. The beer was ice cold! Decided on the chopped salad. What a good choice! I have to say I love Albany airport because they always have good food. Everything was tasty and the bartender was very nice and friendly. Definitely be back on my next trip.

Sunday morning. Service is great. Good coffee. Good food. I appreciate the great service, especially from an airport restaurant.

Meatball appetizer and guava margarita! Both excellent!

Best restaurant in the Albany airport- nice variety of drinks and excellent appetizers- strongly encourage the meatball appetizer! Service was friendly and fast. It's tucked away next to the burger king just past the security check point to the left when you left when you leave security.

This is the best spot at the Albany in Airport to grab a bite before a flight. I need a glass of wine before I get on a plane and they have a nice heavy pour and a great Cabernet Sauvignon. For airport food the quality is quite nice and the service is always friendly and quick. The theme of the restaurant isn't so bad either since I'm a huge fan of a trip to Saratoga for a race in the summer. If you happen to be flying out, add this place to your list.

Quaint little place to eat at the Albany airport, especially if you don't want fast food. The server was attentive and extremely friendly. I had the club sandwich and fries. The sandwich was turkey, and cheese between 3 pieces of lightly toasted bread. That bread though! Toasted on the outside and soft in the center - just the way I like it. It was a large portion with flavorful seasoned waffle fries. I portions are large and was absolutely delicious!

Service is very slow. Don't come here unless you have at least an hour to kill. Been here twice in two weeks. Very busy in the evening (Thursday). Everything in this airport closes by 7 apparently. Bar tender kept telling ppl hurry up and order food because kitchen is closing. I ordered water and tots and got neither for at least 20-30 min. He was telling another couple that came after me sitting next to me he'd check on their food and never said anything to me which made me question my food. I knew to expect a long wait because of the previous visit. So I was prepared. He asked if I wanted my check when I pulled my card out and I'm like did you put the tots in? I don't think he did caz he's like oh let me check on them and went to the computer and back and said he just dropped them. He's like do u still want them or I need to tell him to cancel now. Why is it just being dropped? Then it comes out in a couple minutes with the other couples food. Drink was $17 dirty martini. Tots $11. Not good.

As I waited for the hostess she was clearly overwhelmed and couldn't eek out a smile to any of the people she greeted. In the lively restaurant, a few tables of girls-night out, birthday dinners, couples both young & old, bar seating with the World Cup on TV. Our server was very pleasant. The food was good, by Albany standards, heavy on the butter, salt and cream. It wasn't bad but for me they could pull back on the richness and let the herbs/mushrooms/fish/etc shine through. 2 out of the 3 us intentionally only ate half our portions, planning to eat the rest "tomorrow" and told the server we wanted to box them togo. She offered to do that for us, while we were happily chatting, sipping the rest of our wine. When the boxes didn't reappear, the server apologized that someone threw the boxes away. It was disappointing, especially when we paid $25-28 dollars for our plates of pasta. Based on the overworked hostess and server, management needs to adjust their staffing to insure a better customer experience. When they toss out leftovers, not just a single bite, but huge plate of food, it would seem appropriate to provide a "peace offering" perhaps put a small dessert togo or certificate for a free appetizer on a future visit. If I was local I'd probably return.

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars

First, your Brunch menu and food are excellent, when we finally got our food - after roughly an hour of waiting - I was instantly reminded of why Dove and Deer is great - bold flavors, excellent preparation, gorgeous plates all in a city that desperately needs it. Second, I really felt bad for the 3 people responsible for running an entire restaurant on a Sunday (two waiters and one person in the kitchen). They did their absolute best, were so kind and apologetic, but obviously completely stressed out and frazzled. Tables got up and left after waiting for someone to get back to them - and we almost did too. It's unfair to restaurant staff to put the burden of running an entire place on them. I get if someone called off and you're short staffed 1 or 2 people, but did everyone call off? Besides 3 people? Come on. You have a real opportunity to be a go to brunch destination, my advice is to staff appropriately and give it a real go or risk customers not getting to experience the greatness that is your food - and taking their dollars to someplace far more mediocre. The only reason this isn't a 2 star or 1 star review is because of how hard your staff tried, and how good your food is (when it finally shows up).

The restaurant was completely empty at 12 noon when my dining companion and I arrived and only filled with one more party of three when we left. It appears to serve a decent breakfast and lunch with what they claim as "contemporary twists on American classics" as listed on the website. We had come for lunch but they offer a buffet breakfast ($17) vs. Continental breakfast ($13) vs. full American breakfast ($14) which I wouldn't know the difference just based on the menu listing. We were greeted by the hostess and seated at a booth immediately. Within a minute, our server welcomed us and offered drinks and time to look over the menu. The menu was a one page placard that divided between lunch and dinner *post 5pm* offerings. Out of curiosity I asked if we were able to order off the dinner section but we were told that it was not available as an option. In between our server grabbing us our drinks and returning for our order placements, another server came by to wait on us...but our server caught it and took over. Call us silly, but we chose the same menu item because the Corned Beef Reuben was calling our name. We were given options for the included side (fries, side salad, or kettle chips) so we opted for a side salad and the other- fries. The reuben was fantastic and definitely satisfied my craving! The rye bread was nicely crisped and buttered while the ample corned beef mingled in agreement with the Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. There was just the right amount of substance in each bite...including the necessary grease factor to make what a true Corned Beef Reuben should be! I've had ones that had so much grease that my hands were dripping of oil and bread soggy and sandwich messy. Luckily, The Market knew how I like my reubens. Unfortunately the small side salad was on the measly end and the fries were nothing spectacular, but both went hand in hand with the delicious sandwich. Albeit the non-bustling and semi-awkward dining atmosphere, the place was kept clean and welcoming. Parking was not an issue and ample in the covered lot towards the left side of the hotel. The only thing I thought would've been better was that our server should've checked in on us way earlier...not when my plate was already squeaky clean. And no, for the record, I am not a fast eater for those of you that may wonder. I'll give this place another try sometime and maybe order other items...and maybe there will be other diners or hotel guests that will find this spot for what they have to offer.

I ate about a third of the ribeye after shaking salt on it and three spears and gave up. My server questioned the pushed away plate and then offered to bring another. I politely declined, but she did remove it from my check. Super. Tipped her good. Once again, there is risk involved with a hotel lobby restaurant. Such is the life of the business traveler.
