They check in to see how you're doing. The owner even gave me an extra gift for it being my birthday. I probably will come back another day when I'm too exhausted to wash my hair again. The head massage and facial itself was really relaxing but I do not recommend this place if you have your hair done as they do not use quality salon products. I get my hair toned every 6-8 weeks and the products they used completely stripped my hair and turned it yellow! I at least thought I would have soft hair afterwards but it was actually more dry and did not feel smooth at all. During the blow dry, I saw them use Tresemme and you would think that if you're spending $100+, that they would use higher quality salon products. My hair felt worst afterwards and I recommend you stay away from this place! You're better off going to a licensed salon and getting a hair treatment and blowout instead of wasting your money here. They also give you $10 off if you leave a 5 star review so I would take the 5 star ratings with a grain of salt. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never left a horrible rating, but given what I received for 125 plus tipI feel like I should. For 156.00 I got my hair washed and conditioned. The massage was what I came in for and the very nice lady behind the desk recommended this service and said it was their most popular- yay, let's go! I was a walk-in and they were able to take me on the spot. The place is gorgeous, very clean, quiet and tranquil; great relaxing music and felt very nice. The first part of all treatment's is a foot soak which was absolutely lovely. It's was an aromatic soak and really just so pretty with the lemons and rose petals in the soaking sink. I was offered a tea that I've never had before and it was really good and and they gave me a little bowl of snacks to choose from. Top notch so far. The technician took me back to my room and had me undress to a shoulder-less wrap towel. That's the first 15 mins. The REMAINING 45 were AWFUL. I primarily went there for a head massage and the lady assigned to me had no massage technique at all- it was as if you asked your 7 year old child to rub your head and arms- skipping spots, very rough on some spots could hardly feel it in others- spending 95 percent of the time on my right side and then 5 percent on the other; using too much oil in one side and not enough on the other.... The shampooing and conditioner time started and the water was too hot or too cold but I put up with it as I already knew I was not going to relax or fall asleep as I wanted- and also tired of creating more of an awkward atmosphere each time I spoke up. She put in the shampoo and conditioner as if she dabbed her hands in butter and spread it in my head. No massage technique to get the products to my scalp, just like finger painting with 5 fingers on the top of my hair, missing loads of spots. At this point I was done correcting and let her go through her steps without interrupting. She asked if she could blow dry my hair and I agreed for 2 mins as I was tired of appeasing. I went to the desk to pay and told the receptionist that I wanted to give her honest feedback and after saying all of the above to her, explained that I thought she would like to know, she listened to me and said I "I m sorry, my friend works her and she does mine and it's so good". I asked her if she ever had a treatment from the lady that saw me and she said "no I'm sorry" and giggled with what seemed like embarrassment. read more

The staff that did my treatment was very welcoming and asked if the pressure of my massage was okay, i asked to go a little more and she did. It helped me be super relaxed. My cousin took me here for my Birthday!!! Let me tell you this place, is HEAVEN. We literally did not want the head and body massage to stop. From the beginning to end they went above and beyond to provide the best experience ever. At the of the service I was caught off guard when they brought out a dessert pastry with a candle, balloons, and a plushie as a gift for me! This was my first time at a head spa so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a great experience. Came in with two friends, started off with a nice foot soak. Then we went into our individual rooms. I got the Reawaken service, so it was an hour that included a facial, deep head massage, and also shoulder and arm massage. The head massage was like being at the salon for a long time but actually lying down in a comfortable position. Most of the time was spent on the scalp and hair.
