Groupon deals also! I think I got 3 Brazilians for like $50! I'm usually in and out because it's never packed with people cause it's small and they are super fast which I love cause I'm always in a rush. Around the corner from me so it's really convenient for me, anyway. Today they offered to wax off my black heads on my nose for $5 and I'm like of course! Lol my nose is so smooth I'm so happy! Soon they will be adding a hair salon next door with great prices, I'll have to see about the haircut before I review that part. I am truly sad to have to be writing this review, but this is not a 4 star salon. I went in for threading and tinting as well as a spa mani pedi (regular). The eyebrows turned out fine. The pedicure is okay, though the horizontal nail painting technique really threw me off and there was no gentleness with the under nail cleaning and cuticles. The manicure was last. I was asked to pay beforehand, so I tipped generously. However the manicure was the worst experience. You should know most of the nail polish I saw was obviously expired. During the manicure, the nail tech was in such a rush that twice her hand swiped over the fresh polish. Rather than removing the polish and beginning again, she added more polish only to make it look a darker shade than the rest. The second time she swiped her nail through one of mine, she would not even acknowledge it and said it was "dirt that would come off later." At the end, I was clearly disappointed and she asked what I wanted. I said all I wanted was for those two nails to be redone. It was already past closing time (even though I came in on time for my appointment two hours prior). I truly felt bad that she had spent all this time and serving other customers as well as she was the only one there, but the truth needs to be told that this was not good service for a manicure I ultimately could have done myself. Along with the poor service, it should be noted that this nail salon is truly horrendous. I am convinced there are health violations happening in there. It is cramped, you can't even access certain parts of the salon without having to move a whole futon. The furniture is dirty and there is no hygienic practices happening. Honestly, a red flag in all of this should've been the Head and Shoulders/Garnier shampoos for sale near the hair salon section... at a professional salon? I also feel the need to include that some of the questions I was asked during small talk felt quite invasive... I was asked how much I pay for rent and the name of the company I work. I am sad to even feel the need to write this because it seems like the kind of business that can't afford bad reviews. But truly, spent the extra $ and go somewhere where they will treat you as a valued customer. read more

Made an appointment for eyebrow threading and facial. Both services were great. The only flaw to the facial was the massage bed was covered in uncomfortable paper from a doctors office which wasn't the most relaxing to be on for an hour. My only complaint is that a woman had come into the shop twice while my eyes were closed during the facial and she was demanding $8 from the owner. They had gone back and forth and eventually I heard the cash register open. I was a little scared and wasn't aware of what was going on. read more

I've been going here since they opened. I really like how they take their time and you get a mini facial massage at the end. Fouzia is really good and I feel that they are more thorough than any other place I've been to so far! I also bought the package deal where you pay for five sessions and you get two free. I just came back from Silky. It's the day before Thanksgiving, and my usual place was 30 minutes away in rush hour traffic. Silky is a short walk from my condo, so I figured I'd try it! My experience was great! I got my eyebrows threaded and my upper lip and chin waxed. My eyebrows are shaped great, honestly better than my usual salon does it. Additionally, the woman who waxed my upper lip and chin was meticulous, even with my ingrown hairs that I always have. She even offered me a wax option meant for sensitive skin. The salon is clean, the staff is very friendly, the prices are on par with other salons that offer the same services, and it was a great experience! Purchased brazilian wax via Groupon and very happy. First, they were open at 9:00 on Sunday. Second, Sandra was ready for me so there was no wait (I am always on-time and expect the same from businesses where I spend my money). The space is small so if you don't handle waxing well, i.e. express yourself because of the pain, then someone will hear you. Just got my eyebrows threaded for the ridiculously low price of $6 from a lovely woman named Fouzia. She was extremely gentle, mindful and detail oriented during the threading process and it was by far the least painful eyebrow threading experience I have ever had. To top it all off, after she finished my eyebrows she gave me the most AMAZING and unexpected facial massage, focusing on my temples and the middle of my eyebrows ( where i hold a lot of tension). I would pay $6 for the massage alone! I feel refreshed, relaxed and love my fresh eyebrows! *FYI Fouzia does not work there on Monday's or tuesdays so go experience her magic and healing energy on the days she is working!! read more

NOPE NOPE NOPE..If I could give negative stars I would. This was the absolute WORST Brazilian wax I've ever had. My waxer rushed because there was another woman waiting because of a schedule mix up on their part. An employee arguing on the phone loudly about it. Most painful wax ever and I've been waxing for 4 years. I thought maybe because it had been about 8 weeks since my last wax that it could explain why it was so painful but that wasn't the case. I should've paid more attention. SHE TORE THE INSIDE OF MY VAGINA LIP and apparently ripped the hair in the wrong direction, it's started growing back the next day coarse and itching, like if I were to use a razor. Recovery from tenderness took a whole week. It's now been about 3 weeks and my vagina is still not okay.. still itching and uncomfortable from hair growth. So that's awesome. This place should be shut down for real. They need to do better... read more
