We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

Shafiaq Khouli and his SK Concrete team built on our back yard a 14' x 14' SPA niche including a…read more12' x 12' x 5" reinforced concrete pad, foundation, drainage, three sides surrounding half high retaining walls and embedded SPA electrical wiring conduit. They also installed footing drain (French drain) on the back retaining wall, backfilled with the usual gravel, crushed stone and covered the outside of the walls with installed paneled stone veneer. They also did the initial former structure demolition, debris hauling and the requested earth moving and other necessary small retaining walls reassembly. It sounds like an easy simple job but, believe me, it got complicated quite soon. Along the construction way, I was able to interact with the crew and bounce ideas and corrections which were followed to my customer satisfaction, resulting in more than a very acceptable final product. When the inevitable, beyond his control, the one odd crew helper misbehavior occurred on the job, this contractor immediately corrected it, got on top of the problem and smoothly and quickly we had no more of an issue here. He also facilitated for me the customer to bring my own tile / stone wall-caps products and installer guys, which ended doing a beautiful job we're very proud of. Pricing fair, not inexpensive. Job done acceptable, with your own (the customer) continuous supervision and being able to stop working crew's irreparable mistakes before they happened, however, the final product came out well built and functional as we imagined and expected, we are grateful for that. BUYER BEWARE. This company is not what it appears to be. I…read moream quite certain that it is actually a company that publicly ONLY advertises and markets services. It actually does NONE of the work. The work is done, as far as I can tell, COMPLETELY by subcontractors. My initial experience was with Rich, a very friendly and smooth talking sales person who represented himself as an owner of Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape. He referred to his crews and foremen. Only later did I learn that they were actually crews from companies that were subcontracted out. I never received a formal written estimate from the Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape, or even a final written receipt upon payment. OK, that's for the highly deceptive side of the business. The job I hired them for was hardscape and concrete stain and sealing. It took three months to complete about four days of actual work. Every time Rich gave me a start time for "his men", something ultimately pushed it back another week or so. It's obvious now why, it wasn't even his company doing the work. In fact, I think I physically saw Rich a total of two or three times including the initial meeting. Material orders were not placed timely, when items were back ordered from one supplier, there was no attempt to locate the materials elsewhere. Coordination was haphazard and details were constantly slipping through the cracks. Thinking that Rich from Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape- was the company actually doing the work, all I kept getting were excuses and more bullshit. After three months of total frustration, I was told that I could make my actual payment to the company that was finishing the work that day, as a convenience to me! Beyond my dissatisfaction with the job was the fact that I had been experiencing such highly misleading and deceptive communication xfrom the beginning. Not only does this company NOT deserve a solid review, it doesn't deserve the public trust. Look elsewhere.
