I came from out of town for a one night stay for a work trip. I appreciated the view of the stadium being right there, so that was nice and it was game day so the atmosphere was hyped. The front desk was accommodating and the valet was helpful. I enjoyed the spaciousness and quietness being on the top floor. The pool was packed but the bar downstairs was super great. The only cringe thing was that there was a big bug on my pillow right before I feel asleep so I left paranoid the next day about that, and there was no garbage bag in the bathroom can so I scrambled about that too. read more

WARNING: If you don't like turning your car keys over to a valet, this is NOT the hotel to book. There's no safe street parking in the area. If you're renting a car, you may not mind. This hotel is convenient to games in both stadiums. Can't sleep any closer, unless you set up a tent on the field. The property is well kept, as are the many Silver Cloud Inns I've stayed at. But the interaction with the car valet was awful. That day, I spent eight hours driving from Everett after visiting friends. On the way south, stopped to shop here and there. The rental vehicle was full of luggage and shopping bags as I collected purchases to bring home with me. Consequently, arriving in the evening, I just wanted to park the car, pull out toiletries and a change of clothes, lock the car, and collapse in the room. Planned to off load later. But NO-OH. No can do. All vehicles are valet parked. No exceptions. I accepted that I'd have to off load the entire car before resting. I was stuck. Could not cancel the reservation without losing the deposit. If this had been my personal vehicle, I would have gone elsewhere and taken the hit. Silver Cloud Bellevue is farther away from town and SeaTac, but you can park your own car. What made an inconvenient situation worse was the behavior of the car valet. The guy pestered me the entire time for my car keys. When I first arrived he demanded the car keys. I went into the lobby to check in and verify that I couldn't self park. He followed me there. I went back to the car to start emptying it. He followed me. There are two parking spaces labeled for off loading. At no time did the valet point out those spots. When I went to pull into one spot, he kept bothering me for the car keys. NO WAY was I leaving the car keys with anyone until the car was emptied. BTW, there were no games and the hotel was very quiet, almost spooky. I was the only car in the driveway and the only check in at the time. Wasn't inconveniencing other guests. It took three trips with the luggage cart to empty the car. Each trip, the valet followed me to the elevator asking for the car keys. He was waiting at the elevator when I returned, asking for the keys. He seemed intimidating. While sympathetic, the front desk clerk seemed uninterested in explaining to the valet that he didn't need to shadow me the entire time. Logically, I could have emptied the car then driven off somewhere else. Don't understand why the valet had to be such a pest. When I was done emptying the rental car, turned the keys over to the valet. Did not spend much time staying there and didn't run into the manic valet again. My guess is he expected to be obeyed without question. Tough! After umpteen years in the military, I only take orders from someone holding a gun. Location: 10 minute walking distance from Amtrak Kings Station. I arrived in Seattle in the evening and walked right to the hotel safely. Hotel is also walking distance to Pioneer Square , a brick paved square with coffeehouses, restaurants, and shops and galleries. Room: I got a great room, very clean, spacious double queen. Aveda products, spacious coffee bar with microwave and fridge. Seattle's best coffee. Overall just such a comfortable stay Amenities: Rooftop heated pool, jacuzzi. Fitness room. If you're going to a game in Seattle, especially with little ones, this is THE place to stay. We will be back for sure. We had 3 rooms for our group. 2 with a single king, one with two queens. The king rooms had a killer view of the front of T-Mobile stadium. The other had a pretty fountain out the window. Beds were comfy, and the lobby was maintained nicely. We were visiting during the Bears v. Hawks game (and ALL THE SNOW Chicago must have brought with them...) So, things were a bit different than your typical Seattle weekend. Everything was closed (including the hotel restaurant and bar) and all the restaurants near by. It was a real bummer when the game ended and we couldn't find anywhere to get dinner... we ended up with pizza we had to go pick up. All in all, awesome hotel. Very comfy. I loved this hotel! I worked for a large brand hotel in downtown seattle for a long time and didn't know about this hotel. Now I am a visitor to downtown I've had a hard time finding a place I like. This is great since I need to be close to Sodo and also a plus being close to Lumen and T Mobile Park. the only downside is the food the restaurant was closed a lot and it's not really a safe area for walking so I did Uber Eats. Will definitely stay there again though. Love all the amenities in the room as well include a Keurig which again was perfect since the restaurant was closed. read more

We lucked out and landed a last minute room in this fabulous hotel while on a PNW road trip. Even luckier, it happened to be our anniversary. I booked the room the afternoon before and got a rate of $151, with taxes and fees the total came to $172. There is an extra charge of $45 for 24 hour secured parking in their valet controlled underground garage. Our room was on the 9th floor which also has a lovely rooftop pool and jacuzzi, and an excellent skyline view. The amenities were excellent, bed comfortable, room sparkling clean, and every single staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. They provide a complimentary shuttle uptown to Pikes Market, Waterfront, and other local attractions as well. I tried to book a second night because we liked it so much, but it was sold out. Very nice pool top of hotel with mostly helpful staff. The view from our second room was of the ballpark and the water and was beautiful.

Room is fine, newly renovated and clean, mattress is very comfortable. And that's where it ends. If you plan to sleep while staying at this hotel, forget about it. I checked multiple times if the windows were open, my room was on the 7th floor mind you. The noise from the stadium is unreal. At night there are games (you hear the band and every word of commentary as if they were in the room with you), during the night it's cleaning ( think lawn mowers, leaf blowers idk), mixed with the hourly train telling the entire state of Washington it's approaching a railroad crossing and at least 5 vehicles a night whose drivers have not figured out a quieter way to show the world they have a small wee wee... Ordered an omelet and a cup of coffee from the restaurant to the room, charge was $40 before tip (omelet listed for $23 on the menu). After a 7 nights work stay here I'm seriously sleep deprived lol I will certainly NOT stay here again. read more

My husband and I stayed here our first night in Seattle. We used their $53 valet nightly service which was the most I've ever spent for a hotel valet! The check in was fast and easy. Our room smelled musty like it hasn't been aired out since the beginning of covid. But it was only for one night so we dealt with it. We checked out early and picked up our vehicle in the morning only to find a deep scratch on the passenger door. I was told to email the manager and once I finally got back a response they denied they scratched the door dismissed any idea of them being responsible. Management also denied me access when I asked to see the footage of the vehicle When being valetD. Mind you, I drove straight to the hotel from the rental facility so I know I didn't make the scratch and it wasn't like that when I picked up the vehicle. So basically I put my trust in the Hotels Valet to take care of my vehicle overnight (you'd think it would be extra safe at $53 a night) only to find a deep scratch on the door and management not taking responsibility for it. Unfortunately I'll never stay at another Silver Cloud Hotel again simply because I can't trust them to do the right thing. read more

I previously stayed at the Silver Cloud in Capitol Hill, but opted for this one due to it's location next to Safeco as I was planning to go to a game while I was in town. I am giving this five stars not taking the price into account too much. When searching online, you might see a map of hotels in Seattle with a price bubble next to each location. Silver Cloud isn't the highest or the lowest but pretty good for downtown. (after reading some reviews for the cheaper hotels, they seem light nightmares!) When I walked into my room I was blown away at how awesome it was. To be fair, I thought I was paying less than I ended up paying (lots of hidden charges, taxes, fees), but I lucked out on the room that overlooks the left field gate (no you can't see inside and watch a game for free). There's a mini-fridge, tiny sink, microwave, coffee maker in the "kitchenette" and two TVs, in the bedroom and the sitting room/study. I'm not sure how the layouts of other rooms are but I think I lucked out on one of the better ones. I already knew where the hotel was.. right across the street from the left field gates. Getting to the hotel on game nights can be a bit difficult, but as long as you avoid those hours you're golden. *TIP* If you want good tickets for a Mariners game, the scalpers hang out on the corners of Occidental and Royal Brougham. You can get a great deal from them, I've used them often. My only criticism is that housekeeping comes at completely random hours and seemed a little pushy, so it's anyone's guess as to when they might try and poke their heads in - if you plan on working or napping in your room. 15:30 one day and 10:30 the other day. But I found the rest of the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Excellent location to T-Mobile Park, directly across the from the LF entrance. Staff were friendly and accommodating, even shuttling us to the light rail station, thank you very much. If you're looking for nightlife, you'll need to walk a bit, I wouldn't recommend by yourself as many homeless campout in and around the area. read more

This Hotel was on the list for our company event, I was looking at Cheaper Hotels but we decided to go with Silver Cloud it wasn't to much more than other hotels I found. I shopped around checking into the Parking and Amenities, the parking was one of the most affordable and it is Valet. This Hotel was the closest to our event so walking or catching an Uber/lyft was also a plus. There is a restaurant on site which was great, we ordered room service little pricey for 1 breakfast and a bowl of fruit ,but my husband was very satisfied with the quality said it was one of the best Breakfast he's had out. I loved our room and the amenities the bed was soft an inviting. We were planning to wake up early and hit the town but was so exhausted from our event and not looking forward to our drive back to Olympia, we called and asked for a 1 hr extended check out and much to our surprise they honored that and we didn't get a charge. Amazing. I've stayed at many of the highest rated hotels in Seattle, and the Silver Cloud Inn deserves a shout out. While it isn't located in the heart of downtown, it's worth the effort to seek out this gem. I enjoyed my stay here so much two weeks ago, that I decided to forgo my usual spots downtown and come back to see if the experience would be replicated. It didn't disappoint. Located across the street from Safeco Field, the location is great for coming and going from a Mariner's game. The rooms are nicely appointed with refrigerators, microwaves, and small appliances such as an iron and hair dryer. Bed is very comfortable with a nice flat screen HDTV hanging on the wall. I stayed in room 936, and it had a great view of Safeco and the Port of Seattle. Just a few steps from the room was the rooftop pool and spa. Pool is very shallow, in fact, less then four feet deep, but the temperature is kept at about the same thermal heat as a warm bath (think of sitting in a nice hot spring.) Spa is very spacious, and isn't boiling hot. You could enjoy a long leisurely soak of up to an hour without any real problems if you felt so inclined. (For the record, I did.) The thing that really stands out for me though about this hotel is the staff. Everyone who works here is really friendly and professional. Doesn't matter if you're dealing with the valets or the front desk supervisor. Everyone knows their role within the business, and they all succeed at it. It makes for a truly great experience. One added bonus is the hotel shuttle. With taxi fares being so insane these days, it's nice to have an option that wont cost you an arm and a leg. Shuttle runs til eleven each night, so plan accordingly. Be sure to check the online travel sites, as you can often find rooms here for a steal. Staying here would be more than worth it at full price, but if you can get a screaming deal, why not take it. In closing, I can't say enough positive things about my stay here. If I had the choice, I would give them 4.5 stars. They don't quite make it into the rarefied air of a 5 star review from me because I still have yet to eat here. I've heard Jimmy's is good, but when I'm in the area, I choose to dine elsewhere. Perhaps on my next stay, and I will be back for sure, I'll give Jimmy's a try, and see if it can elevate Silver Cloud to the five star level. read more

Hotel is absolutely perfect if you're in town catching a Mariner's game. It is right next to the stadium. From the roof you can see the stadium and go for a swim or sit in the jacuzzi. Rooms were very nice and had a microwave and fridge. We had a view of the puget sound and Olympic mountains. I think I requested that in the notes when I made my reservation. Stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night. Arrived to find that my F-150 was considered over-size, so despite paying the $50/night to park, they weren't sure they could accommodate. After looking at several other bigger trucks parked, they finally relented. Huge relief. Room was definitely clean and a nicer hotel room. View from the room was also epic. We stayed this Silver Cloud while attending a WNBA game. Closer hotels were booked and had raised their rates (the Caitlin Clark effect, we suppose). Anyway, we were very pleasantly surprised. Their service so I let them valet park my car last night and that's the only way you can let you get into the parking garage. They have to park your car so this morning I go get my car and he's coming up to short hill and I can hear the engine just screaming And I'll tell him that I say something to him and he's telling me that he knows how to drive he knows how to drive but when I get in my car, the car is smelling like the clutch is burning but he's telling me he knows how to drive and he said they're arguing with me, so I just be quiet It's funny how we get treated and I'm getting so sick of it. It is so sickening how people think they can just keep treating us any kind of way they want when we come to their business by their employees. I do not like their valet service, I can tell you that at all. so this is what he left me if my clutch was so bad, I would not be driving the car it needs to be fixed and it will get fixed but if you know how to drive a stick, you should have no problem. read more

Checkin is friendly and efficient. Valet is expensive ($39+tax) but we were not from round these parts and didn't plan ahead for parking and lugging bags from some other parking. Hotel is conveniently located within a stones throw from Safeco's front door. King room was nice. Many in room amenities - microwave, refrigerator, coffee, ice bucket, plenty of lighting, plenty of plugs and usbs. Pillows are 2 Star. They basically took 2 regular pillows and cut em in half to give you 4 square not that comfortable or supportive pillows. TV was mounted and large. No bulky cabinet or armoire. Big mirrors. Bathroom was also nice with lights mounted on the mirror at eye level for excellent bathroom lighting. Mostly what you'd expect from a premium hotel. Rooftop pool was cool, but on the smaller side. Still provided a nice view and was a fun break for the family. Location on this hotel is everything. I wouldn't recommend the "on first" restaurant inside, but I'll review that separately. All in all, this place is super convenient on gameday, but you pay for it. It has everything a premium hotel should have and didn't disappoint. Having stayed at the Silver Cloud on Broadway for a special occasion when I lived in Seattle, I knew another location would provide a consistently great experience. ALL of the staff at Silver Cloud worked hard to help make my stay cozy and fabulous. Traveling during COVID can be scary, but I knew I was in good hands staying here. The hotel was tastefully decorated and spotless. My room was comfortable and downright beautiful, with a great view of Puget Sound. Loved the comforts of home (small appliances, well-maintained, good coffee and tea) and the high quality Aveda toiletries. I relished the fantastic burgers Jimmy's has to offer downstairs, and I enjoyed the convenience of being close to everything downtown. I noticed there is even a shuttle available for peak tourist dates. Although, for safety, the pool and spa area were closed, it was still an overall relaxed and classy experience. I can't wait to enjoy those great rooftop pool/spa amenities at a later date. Seattle is a fantastic city, and you can't do better than staying at the Silver Cloud Stadium! read more

If you like to sleep...do not stay here! From jack hammers starting at 6am, trains blowing horn during the middle of the night at 2-3AM, pressure washing and using blowers at TMobile Baseball Park at midnight and road construction causing a lot of car noises outside our room was unreal! Concierge was not knowledgeable of our surroundings...we wanted to make a quick trip to a local grocery store and he gave us directions to US Foods...after a 9-10 block walk to find out it was a warehouse for restaurants to purchase bulk items...definitely not a grocery store...so then we had to get an Uber to get to a grocery store we googled! After the baseball games...do not be in a rush to get to your room...the (2) elevators were backed up with a line all the way outside and they would not allow anyone to use the stairs! The restaurant connected to this hotel is not open either, therefore we had to order food thru Uber Eats! Just not a good stay for us! read more

I stayed at this hotel on March 14th. The hotel neglected to deactivate a key that was reported "stolen", however, that same key was used to break into our room during our stay. BTW, no other room was even attempted to be accessed so it makes me wonder if this was an inside job. The hotel's general manager's actions upon realizing their negligence is the definition of EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My fiancée & I had a large amount of personal items stolen to include all our electronics. The hotel refused to admit their negligence and directed us to file a claim under our homeowners insurance. I argued that I should not be paying a higher insurance premium for their negligence. The manager's response was that they would contact their insurance agency. At most, they are willing to offer me a $300 settlement. How is this good business practice? Moreover, how is this ethical? As a so called "prominent" hotel in Seattle, a higher level of customer service should be provided. Is it that difficult to right a wrong? A business's reputation or ethics should never be jeopardized PERIOD!!! read more

Some how...hummmm....The perpetrator knew EXACTLY when we left our room and EXACTLY when we took our car out of valet and EXACTLY when we left the hotel and broke into our room and stole EVERYTHING!!!!!! Funny thing is this perpetrator broke into our room ONLY.....when they had the MASTER KEY for the entire hotel. Hummmm coincidence? I think not!!!! Talk about hitting the "lotto". Even better. ....the hotel is doing noting about it, they don't have a care in the world for us or our stolen belongings. Am I the only person who sees this as unethical? I was actually surprised by this hotel. I'm not sure what my expectations were, but it was a great stay! Located right next to WaMu, Showbox Sodo, and of course the Stadium, it's a great hotel in a great location. My room on the 8th floor was perfect with a view of their courtyard area. Large room, comfortable beds, plenty of space, nice bar counter area w/sink, TV, desk, chair, the works. + Nice Aveda products in bathroom + Seattle's best coffee in room + Friendly front desk staff + Nice lobby area + Rooftop pool area! Too bad it was cold and windy though + Noon check out Drawbacks: Could consistently hear people in hallway talking. Elevator where you had to slip in your door key to go up/down floors kept being iffy Overall great hotel, great stay, I would recommend and certainly stay here again. This is a beautiful hotel, located right next to all of the stadiums for all of the sports loving fans out there. For others, the location may seem a bit removed from the heart of the city, but if you're there for work and are OK being away from the hustle and bustle, this is a great hotel. I stayed at the Silver Cloud because the price was the least expensive and fit within my company's price policy, and I have to say that I would absolutely recommend the hotel and would stay there again. My room had a view of the space needle, and the walk to the office was easy. I was able to easily walk to all areas of town that I needed to be in (although the walks can be long... over a mile or two to get to the actual Space Needle), and an Uber in town was quite reasonable. After staying at many Seattle hotels , this one did not disappoint. However, there were still some factors that did upset me. Upon arrival, there were three front desk agents. One agent was busy helping a customer; while another was hitting on the same customer being helped. The third agent said he couldn't check us in. All other employees I interacted with throughout my trip were very kind and professional. Almost every time I saw that front desk agent, he was hitting on another girl hard. Note: I booked my hotel at a slow time (no games going on). I'd imagine if I were in a room facing the fountain and not on the 7th floor, I would have not been able to sleep. That fountain runs at the same power 24/7. Pros: - Location is super close to Chinatown - Shuttle available to various parts of Seattle. - Greeted every time entering or leaving the hotel. - Best security I've seen (locked doors after a certain time, call to enter) - Pool and hot tub were very nice. - Room had USB ports and many many wall sockets. - Extendable Ethernet cord - Largest TV I've seen in a hotel. - Empty fridge to store a good amount of water. If you love sports, I suggest staying here. It is right next to SafeCo field. The room I got was awesome, though it wasn't baseball season when I went, I could just imagine what it would be like. I got a room with a nice view of SafeCo and it was on the same floor as the rooftop pool and hot tub. It was rainy, Seattle is like that you know, but I still didn't waste an opportunity to use the rooftop hot tub at night. The hotel has a PC room to surf the net if you don't pack a laptop. But what was weird was when I opened the door one night to use the room, and a hotel guest was using one of the two pieces to look at naked pictures of women. PORN! I totally walked in on the guy self-bonering. I feel kinda bad on walking in on his salf-gratification, but at the same time I didn't. Why would you subject yourself to humiliation by running the risk of getting walked in on by looking at porn sites? He awkwardly changed the window to his Yahoo! email and left after only 1 minute. Pwn3d! Other than that, that hotel is awesome, and the bar/rstaurant downstairs helped me get drunk before heading downtown to work. My flight into Seattle was 5 hours earlier than check in, but when I showed up, they let me check in early so I could pass out to the cool Windows-Media-Player style music show on the 42" LCD mounted on the wall in my room.
