Overall very impressed with silver creek self storage. We went multiple times the first time to check out units and get pricing and the 2nd time to sign paper and move our stuff in. The manager was very helpful one the first day and very willing to give a tour of the units and on the next visit Jeremy was super helpful and answered all our questions and then some. In the past when I have looked at storage units I was underwhelmed and did not get a great feeling that my unit would be properly secured. This facility was the exact opposite it was secure, clean, new, in doors, has video cameras and at every turn you need a code to gain access to everything. Exactly what I like when securing items. If you are looking for a storage unit this facility is great and offered a 4 month move in special with a 1 year guaranteed price after that. Where as other places wanted a month to month rate. The only downside is after the 1 year the rate has a 5-10% increase based off the market just like an apartment complex without the rent control so that can be dicey if staying over a year if they make that increase every year. But I guess we shall see as of now this are great. read more

I'm super impressed- Silver Creek Self Storage rocks! My son has had a unit at Little Orchard for a few years now and it is so well run, clean and everyone is so nice there I decided to try to get a unit there. When I called looking for a space, there wasn't an available unit the size I needed. The area manager, Melissa, let me know that, Silver Creek Self Storage, one of their other facilities and had units the size I needed. Silver Creek Self Storage is super nice, it's almost new, sparkling clean, seems very very secure and is also super well run! The units I rented are climate controlled and have very easy to access. The best part is how well trained and helpful everyone is, the manager, Mark and his assistant, Valentine couldn't have made the renting process any easier, they have made what could be an unpleasant experience, very nice. SCSS has a 1 year lock-in rate- so no surprises with constant rate increases. I have had another storage unit at a big chain storage facility for over 10 years, and, let's just say, it's not been a pleasant experience (dirty, rude, we have been broken into twice, etc.), I dread even going there, I'm looking forward to moving out. I chose SCSS because of the location and I feel they have the best security protection for my things. It's a fairly new storage facility and is so nice and clean. It also has great lighting and great air ventilation throughout the building. SCSS had a great move in sale for the first 3 months ... prices maybe little more than most but to me it's worth it. You're probably not gonna find a cleaner facility than this in the south SJ. I like the fact that it's climate controlled and I don't have to worry about my storage items getting exposed to the elements. They also take security very seriously. They monitor all units as well as entry points. The convenience of the push carts makes it easier to move things from the unit to my vehicle. I thought having a unit on an upper floor would be harder, but they have elevators and the whole floor is climate controlled so I'm not in the sun sweating while moving.
