I came to get my nose pierced. Once I walked in, the lady working and was helping another customer. I waited patiently to tell her that I wanted to get my nose pierced. She told me to sit down in this chair that was in the front of the store in the corner of the room. So I sit and I'm thinking that she's going to take me in the back to pierce my nose once she's done helping the other customers. She finally finishes up helping others and comes to me. She asked me if I wanted a big diamond or a small. I asked her for a hoop rather than a stud. She said she doesn't pierce with hoops. I questioned why and asked if she pierced with a gun. She told me no. She sharpens the end of a stud EARring and PUSHES it through the skin. Not only is that extremely damaging for the skin and tissue, but it also takes longer to heal and increases the risk of a large scar. She did not ask me to sign any paperwork, she didn't ask if I was 18+ (I am of age) and I did research and she doesn't have her license to legally pierce people. Please do not go to this place for a piercing. I left immediately after she told me the process of her piercing me. read more

I've been a long time customer of Silver Depot. I even drive from Santa Clarita to Palmdale ,CA. A forty five minute drive. I bought a forty-five dollar sterling silver bracelet from there. Two weeks later it tarnished. It started with a small part then it was the whole bracelet. I took it to another shop to clean it and they couldn't because it was not sterling silver! I drove to the Silver Depot with the receipt that I still had to ask for a refund or an exchange. We thought maybe she had gotten a dud and didn't know it herself. She actually accused me of taking it into a pool, a spa, dipping it in cleaner, or using cleaning products with it. When I told her I did none of those things, that I just wanted her to stand by her product--which is supposed to be silver--she called the police and said I was making a scene. The thing was, she had video that proved I didn't do anything so she wasted their time, our time and her time. The police said I was in the right but that it was a civil matter. She would not give me a refund or exchange even though the product was defective! She sells a lot of piercing supplies but I'm here to tell you that when I ventured outside of that to her sterling silver products, I got a fake. Don't be fooled by the prices. I've had earrings tarnish too, but thought I got a bad set. Obviously that wasn't the case. Also let me close by telling you that the people who work there are not friendly and helpful. Its always like you're bothering them when you need a case opened. So, in closing, I will never go there again and I will make sure I put the truth out there for others. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!!!! I brought in 3 pocket watches for engraving. I am getting married and these are gifts for my father, father in law and brother in law. The fu*#ing morons at silver depot ruined one of the watches.. It said "father of the groon".. I was so pissed but they said they could fix it so I allowed them to. That was weeks ago- I am now 2 days before my wedding.. They have "ordered a new watch", so they say.. And it still hasn't arrived at their shop.. I'm more than pissed! I am out the money for my watch, time, money for engraving, and have 2 days to find a new watch and have it engraved somewhere else!!! The owner, who is a HUGE bitch, told me "you win some you lose some".. I wanted to reach through the phone and rip her face off. I've called my credit card company on this bogus business and now am going to the better business bureau to file a claim! It won't stop there.. I will make sure everyone in the AV knows how shitty this place is and how shitty their customer service is! read more

They are honest and fair about their prices because at sears they charged $9 for battery service. So today I had stopped by to get lip piercings. their assistant was nice and helping me pick my piercings but the Asian lady (I do not know her name. I called & asked her to give me her name but she refused) was Extremely RUDE. I felt rushed and pressured to pick a piercing because I was unsure of what to pick. She even Scolded her assistant in front of me and my mother for giving us the wrong price of a piercing I wanted. She said to us "He wont be working here after today" while speaking it loudly across the room so he can hear and continously nagging at him over the mistake. I was a bit undecisive about the piercings i chose because the gauge seemed a lil too thick for my lip and she told me "just buy it and try it but if it doesnt fit then you waste money". I didnt want to buy but she insisted i just buy 1 and while also rushing me. I bought the piercing and just as i expected, it did not fit me. now I am so irritated for wasting money on a piercing i felt pressured to buy. Employees should be assisting their customers on deciding and picking a jewelry with patience and kindness not getting irritated, rushing and insisting their customers to buy something just to take money. read more

The guy that does the engraving does a great job and the guy that normally gets items for customers and rings you out is funny and very helpful. If customer service is of utmost importance then PLEASE resolve the problem. My daughter has been back to your establishment 3 times with the promise she would receive a reimbursement for the replacement watch that was ruined while in your possession. But alias, she has been denied the reimbursement. She is NOT going to give your representative her credit card, nor should she be required to do so, as we are rightly concerned with the trustworthiness of your establishment. She is happy to write a receipt for your company in whatever verbiage you require. However putting her credit card into your company's hands is not acceptable. The difference due between the disputed charge (for which she has brought the receipt) and the replacement watch is $35. We are trying to handle this in a professional manner, and we would appreciate if your company could do likewise, i.e., do not impugn my character with false accusations, as this only detracts from your inability to resolve your mistake. read more
