This was our first time at Silver Diner. Such a great spot for a family breakfast! The restaurant is very clean, open and comfortable. There were booths and tables to pick from. The bar area is big and bright. All the lighting gets an upscale vibe. The server was extremely friendly and accommodating to us. The food was fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back here. There are some perks for kids as well. See attached photo of the kids menu.

This diner was right on my way to long travel. So stopped in the morning and evening on the way back Morning was great. Easy going atmosphere. Ready to go pick up place. Bar tenders that morning were so amazing and fun. That triple pickled chicken sandwich was bussin as the youth would say. Evening meals: salad with shrimp - ok that enshrine has seen better days. It wasn't Judy freshly made. Salad was great. Eggrolls were delicious but only if you like lots of cheese. It's very dip like. Staff is amazing. Easy parking. Guys come visit I am looking forward to breakfast food next time

This is a side of fries??

I actually liked the food but please see my photo of a side of fries. It's like 16 fries. Why did the serve so few? Why is it on a big plate like this? For $3.99! So many questions on the side of fries... Other than that, the patty melt was good, my friends got vegan food - they actually have a lot of options including vegan milkshakes. Prices we generally fair minus the fry situation. Overall, it's a large menu and there's other things I'd try so I'd come back but, maybe not get fries ha!

Came here the other day with friend to try a new diner (we normally go to Double T). Surprised this place wasn't amazing. It was just okay. We did get seated immediately outside which was nice. Our server sucked, and there were teeny little hairs in multiple food items, and drinks took forever. Food was good though. My friends ordered a milkshake to go at the end and they just brought it not to go so we had to sit around while they drank the entire milkshake at the end after we were all done and paid. Probably will just stick with Double T and stop taking chances

Wow! What a great diner in the heart of the avenue!! The atmosphere is not your typical diner but more of a "upscale diner" it's very nice inside with ample seating. I'd request the sunroom! It's a nice place to sit and let the sun shine in! What did we order: -Huervos Rancheros -California omelet - red white and blue French toast (very very sweet) - traditional breakfast with pankcakes and scrambled eggs Overall, we would re order all of it minus the French toast! It was more of a dessert than a meal! The service was great, we had a bit of a wait (Father's Day) but it was well worth it! We will return!!!

Very spacious diner. They have a section for there bar area with tvs. Outside dining is available as well. The wait for a table wasn't too long. I started with my drink which was a guava mint ginger ale. You can definitely taste the ginger purée they put in there and it is very pulpy. Don't order it if you don't like pulp or see if the can strain it. My meal was the patty melt. It's a new item on the menu and definitely worth it. The thousand island a the honey money mustard sauce combined on the burger was a great blend. This burger was top tier for me. Plenty of food to choose from and they everyday brunch.

Time to get a table: 30 min Time to get food 40 min Time to get a check: 15 min A very loud diner atmosphere where they serve shakes, breakfast all day. Server was really nice but stretched thin. Food was just average. Very disappointed that seafood was fried in same oil as everything else (allergy). For being a "big restaurant ", you would think they would have had seafood in one fry machine and everything else in the other. Parking is abysmal. Same prices as Chili's or Texas Roadhouse. I did like the outside diner feel and that they texted you when your seat was ready so you could sit outside or wander nearby shops.

I was pleasantly surprised by the silver diner. It's clean and they are friendly. I enjoyed the milkshake because you get a lot. I was able to get a little over 3 glasses of milkshake for 10 dollars. The omelette was not oily or running so that was a win in my book. The biscuit was actually pretty good and I didn't choke on it. The potatoes were good but a little salty. I'm excited to go back and try more milkshakes.

For $4.99?

Visited Silver Dinner for the first time on a Friday afternoon. I wasn't expecting much given that diners aren't usual known for their aesthetic but Silver Diner was an exception. While diner-esque, the atmosphere is quite modern. Lots of natural light and comfortable booth seating as well. We were pleased to find that lunch specials are available until 4pm which is a nice treat. I ordered a pick two with a half salad and half sandwich. I added a side of sweet potato fries for $4.99 which was a regrettable decision given that the portion of fries on plate I was served was sad and lacking. The salad and sandwich tasted fresh. I'd be happy to return at some point.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and while my first experience was fantastic, with great food, fast service, and good drinks, my second visit left me a bit disappointed. My party of four ordered various breakfast dishes (all including scrambled eggs), and unfortunately, the eggs were a letdown. They tasted like they had been left under the warmer for too long. We also tried the maple chicken sausage, which was a disappointment. It tasted processed and lacked flavor. On a different note, I usually order alcoholic drinks at the beginning of my meal and my rule of thumb is that if they don't come out before the food, I don't need the drink. Unfortunately, my server's timing was off. The food came out and the drinks still hadn't been made. No Mango Mimosa for me. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my second visit. While I'll be back because it's a local eatery, I hope my next visit will be a bit better.

I attended my 22nd annual Dinner at the Diner with my two former co workers ( friends ) . Great customer service from our server . I enjoyed my Turkey Club . Md Crab soup was a little cold but was chock full of Veggies .

I visited another time to have a Sister's Brunch at the restaurant. Service was smooth and fast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I dabbled with the lunch menu on my visit and WOW the quinoa pasta was AMAZING! I highly recommend this vegan dish!! This is a great space to gather with family and celebrate life's cherished moment :)

Vic was our server and he was wonderful, answering questions and very knowledgeable. Michelle was the mgr on the evening we were there and came out when we wanted to rave over the meal... when she found out we were new to the area, she came back to the table with her top picks for dining in the area. I'm not sure I even know where to start. Me and my best friend rolled up (without reservations -…read moreoops) but were greeted and seated almost immediately. The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

I love its vibe - casual, homey, a little eclectic. The service was also very good. I had a Bloody Mary and their Hangover Hash (fried chicken livers, two eggs sunny side up, home fries, pork sausage gravy, really hot sauce). The Bloody Mary was classic, and I enjoyed it. My meal on the other hand was so-so. The gravy had good flavor, and I thought the home fries were well cooked as well. But the chicken livers were way overcooked for me (they had that chalky texture they get when they're overcooked), which always makes me sad (chicken livers are one of those things that are great when cooked properly but pretty awful when cooked poorly). Just based on the cook on the chicken livers, I would not order the dish again, but I also didn't get the hot sauce at all, and the dish really could have used some acid/brightness since it's a heavy dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. I ordered something a bit riskier, and it didn't pay off, but the other dishes seemed hits with my husband and friends. I did enjoy that their menu has some less common brunch items on it! It's not just the same dishes you can get on every brunch menu in the city: duck benedict, shrimp and grits, scrapple benedict, pickle brined fried chicken sandwich... Overall, it's a brunch spot with some traditional, homey charm and a more interesting menu than the average brunch spot. I'd definitely be willing to return and try something else if I'm in the area.

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy.
