Silver Diner is a family favorite. We stopped in after my daughter's track meet and our server must have been a bit busy because the bartender took our whole order when he original came for drinks. I don't believes he gave his name but he had curly hair and glasses. This was probably one of the best service received during my visit to Silver Diner. We tried the new smoky bacon with my tried and true French toast. I love the touch of added strawberries. Needless to say, my plate was CLEAN. So good I almost want to come back for dinner.

This was our second visit and we had are same server Nicole again!!! As usual she was amazing despite the businessness of Easter Sunday. We still recieved great service. I loved the maple chicken sausage. Can't wait for my next visit.

This is a newer silver diner. Plenty of parking. You get sat immediately and the staff is quick and friendly. Our waiter was able to accommodate all of our requests. Our food came out exactly as requested.

Always a good time at the Silver Diner! We've ordered takeout from here several times and they never disappoint with the amount of attention to detail. Food is always delicious and fresh, and service is always friendly. Love that they're always having some kind of community event as well!

Lumberjack Breakfast with fruit cup instead of home fries.

Silver Dollar Chantilly At 1 PM after walking and swimming during the morning, I found myself very hungry and seeking a highly rated place where I could get eggs and a delicious breakfast. I have not been to a Silver Diner in 20 years, and at the time it had not impressed me, but seeing the yelp review of 4.4 stars for this 2 1/2 year-old Silver Diner on the edge of Chantilly South Riding, we decided to take a chance - and I'm so glad we did! We were greeted graciously and handed heavy silverware wrapped in white and red cloth napkins. Our ice water served in Glass, and the meals on Square China plates. The Whole wheat multigrain sourdough toast was both crunchy and chewy, full of seeds, and definitely not like any institutional store-bought bread. The lumberjack breakfast was fabulous. I loved the thick chewy bacon slabs, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, pancakes, thick sausages, and the delightful option of having a fresh fruit cup versus Home fries (you can also substitute a green salad for the home fries- but they did try them from my husband's plate and they were very nice). Elena was a wonderfully attentive server and was happy to customize anything we'd like - my husband wanted a 3 egg omelette versus 2 (made with Amish cage-free eggs), we both had crispy bacon, and well toasted toast. We were happy to hear, but another silver diner is moving into Gainesville, and look forward to trying that one out when it's open! This was Far superior to IHOP, Denny's, Cracker Barrel - with a fun retro 50s atmosphere.

Walked in around 11 for brunch and the place was quite busy, but luckily got seated right away without any wait. The menu was handed over quickly, and the waiter came by fast to take my order. went with the chicken melt (with some customization) and the lamb shakshuka. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The shakshuka had really good flavor and was served with soft naan, which paired perfectly. The chicken melt came on rye bread and was extra crispy -- a nice touch. Overall, tasty food with quick service despite the rush.

Olivia, our server, was very welcoming and friendly to us. She was very kind to my boys with autism, and she was an attentive server, refilling drinks without asking, and coming by to check on us after the food was brought out. We chatted a bit and learned she drives from Burke to this South Riding location, and this isn't even her FT job. I told her how the restaurant sits on the very spot where my old employer and office used to be (M.C. Dean)! We always have a great experience here; even though it's not the closest one to our house, it's worth the drive. Plus, a full bar is a nice bonus too! Thank you, Olivia, for your personable service!

So glad a Silver Diner opened up closer to home! Plenty of parking is available. Upon entering, the hostess was very kind and we were seated in a timely manner. The restaurant is clean and organized. Restrooms in the back are also clean. Our server was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our meal, each dish was flavorful and well seasoned. Nothing was overly salty or too greasy. Portions are generous as well. Silver Diner is nostalgic for me, reminds me of my High School days. Their menu has definitely changed but I enjoyed what they offered back then and now. The best part of visits to Silver Diner, has always been the company and good conversations. Can't wait to come again :D

Our group of eight enjoyed a wonderful "chef's table" dinner at The Grille last Saturday. This is…read morea golf club diner that has been recently renovated, so the atmosphere is a cafe with hightop tables and television screens, adjacent to the pro shop. The table had been set with crisp white tablecloths and centerpieces, the first indication that this was going to be a special event, and as our evening progressed, we were not disappointed! Pete Maxwell served us several courses that began with the best tomato basil bisque I've ever had, prepared with locally-sourced heirloom tomatoes. Then came ahi tuna on microgreens served with a horseradish-based cream sauce. It was served family style, with Pete accommodating some of our group's request for more well-done portions. An heirloom tomato and burrata salad was fresh and delicious. I don't typically choose lamb, but the entree of a lamb ribeye and a little lamb lollipop in a bed of autumn squash puree, served with roasted heirloom carrots (strip steak for the non-lamb eaters) had both a beautiful presentation and just the right seasoning and I was pleasantly surprised. A miniature, warm pumpkin muffin was served before a unique dessert of vanilla ice cream served inside a roasted squash bowl. We brought and enjoyed our own wines, including a wine that paired well with the desserts. This is not the type of dinner we would have expected to be offered at The Grille, but every person raved about the experience and we look forward to doing it again soon.

Sorry for the half eaten photos.. family DUG in…read more We went for Mother's Day this year, and while it was packed- the service was still phenomenal and the food was all great. Appetizer: french onion pastry puffs. A good balance of filling and pastry, comes 2 pieces per order. Full rack of ribs: a HIT (the seasoning is korean gochujang based, so it has a bit of kick to it!) The fries come "animal-style" seasoned, too, nd were amazing. Burrata cheese rigatoni: sauce was great- a white sauce but not too greasy feeling. Braised beef roast: nothing to write home about, but still a good hearty dish Southwest chicken salad: good zing, loved the candied pecans as part of it Parking is plentiful and the vibes are dark but moody! Can't wait to be back to try other dishes again.

Shelby our server was fantastic. Was my friend's first visit and she offered all kinds of info and had fresh chips made no charge and brought out to the table by a manager who welcomed us. We had the variety appetizer picking the fried deviled eggs, cheese curds, and French onion pastry puff. All were good the deviled eggs were excellent. Nice portion too considering the split, choose 3, approach. After the fresh chips with various sauces to try and appetizers. We decided to split a salad with fried chicken thinking ahead to dessert. They split the salad nicely for us. It was well prepared with various fresh ingredients and nice sized pieces of chicken. For drinks they have a partnership with a brewery in Jackson,WY and various beers on tap including the Walrus a nice hazy IPA. My friend was happy that they Audi had N/A option too. Desert was great a cookie with ice cream that turned out to be four medium cookies! Splurged and also got the banana bread pudding to go with a nice after dinner cup of Joe! Lovely dessert and at this point stuffed!! We saw on the menu that they offered a few different dishes in take home frozen tv dinner style, they're back to the 80's. We saw one large group get multiple bags to go. We decided to as well. Buy 5 get 1 free, we got chicken pot pie, Shepherd's pie, and Meatloaf. Great price and looks based on size and weight a portion for two. Look forward to trying them! Great experience, wish it were closer, will be back soon!
