    Hot Fudge Sundae

I have eaten here over the years. I like that they strive to make everything as fresh and healthy as possible. Our server, Gladys was very friendly and funny! Today I had the Triple Decker Club sandwich. It came with cole slaw and fries. The club was served on sour dough toast. The sour dough was chewy otherwise the sandwich was just okay. The slaw was lightly dressed. It had a nice mix of veggies in it including corn. I finished with a small hot fudge sundae with whipped cream, a cherry and walnuts. It was a perfect amount.

I've been to this location several times today. I had the California omelette on my last visit. I had the Power omelette. Both are excellent. The prices are decent. The only thing I don't like is the music in the jukebox are too loud. Today's service is excellent and the food is truly outstanding. Both of the omelett who es I mentioned are made with egg whites the healthiest they have in the menu. Our server was Zay, extremely professional, efficient and courteous!

We are regular at this locations and everything tastes amazing. They are always adding new menu items. We tried the sampler this time and it was very good. The wings, fried shrimp and egg rolls were all very tasty. I tried the smash burger and it was very good but I do like the regular hickory bbq burger better. The triple pickle chicken sandwich was delicious as always. Also the steak and mashed potatoes was also really good. Overall excellent visit with great service with Rubia.

Food was good for breakfast. Came here on a Monday morning at 11am and was seated immediately for a table of 4. For it not being too busy, the server was a little slow to be honest, not sure if that was just me and my experience. Ambiance is great, jukebox diner to the full. So I'd say in summary that this place you come here for the experience more than throw down on the food compared to IHOP or Denny's.

Looks like they broke a salmon piece in half ?

awful, the Hispanic lady at the cash register is always grumpy- not sure if she's a manager or what, she wears an apron... but she is very moody everytime we go for carry out. Anywho, we got dinner to go and the kids meals were Terribly portioned. The teriyaki salmon ($8.99) looked like they were pulld off another piece or they used one slice of salmon and cut it in half. It was super tiny. Kids meals are for ages 12 and younger but this looks like a toddler size !!! my husband was furious and swore we'll never eat there again. We felt very cheated. My father loved the Rueben's and the triple decker clubs. Those were always great but they are getting cheaper and cheaper with the quantity and also quality.

Way overdue review that got pushed aside due to travel and holidays. My husband and I were visiting family over Thanksgiving and visited this location with our Mom. We were getting ready to order when we received a text regarding a refrigerator delivery that was supposed to arrive later that afternoon. Luckily it was close to the diner. First and foremost I want to applaud the staff (our table host Rubia) who graciously excused us as we apologetically left promising to return. We did return and asked for Rubia. My parents were regulars with their friends and when we visited we would frequent but at some point they stopped coming. We all felt that the food wasn't up to par and menu was stagnant at that time. Well we were pleasantly surprised with this recent visit and actually WOW'd with the menu. The farm to table concept (informed that they were procured locally) reminded us of CA where we live. (San Francisco). Not only were the dishes appealing but every single dish that we ordered was delicious and so fresh. Great portions and just fantastic.

Silver Dinner Restaurant is a place I like to frequent constantly. To date my account shows that I logged in 650 times. Recently they came up with a scheme to offer two dinners plus an appetizer for $35.00. When you receive your final bill the description of the bill is so convoluted that only a mathematician can understand... since I like math, I discovered after arguing with the Manager of Silver Dinner in Reston, VA that was a catch to this madness... in the back of the advertisement written in very small letters (HARD TO READ) there was an exception to charge an additional $5 for EACH entry for two of their expensive foods. CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THIS DISGUSTING SCHEME AND THE BILL MUST CLEARLY REFLECT THAT ADDITIONAL CHARGE INSTEAD OF A CONVOLUTED HIDING OF THIS ADDITIONAL CHARGE. VERY UGLY PRACTICE MR. SILVER DINNER!

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.

Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. I'm sure you expect better from your employees. We will have to think twice about dining on your patio this summer. Linda

They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music.
