They cost a little more than some other local places, but it's worth it in peace-of-mind, great service, and the fact that they stand behind their work. My only minor complaint would be that sometimes the repairs seem to take awhile, so make sure to ask if the repair will take longer than a day.

Upon the garage inspection they informed me of a few problems resulting in inspection failure, including an exhaust manifold leak, ABS system failure, noise from my rear left tire, and a loose head light. I asked for a quote on the exhaust manifold leak, and was told "At least $700 for the part not including labor". Apparently the shop did not know I was a USCG licensed Marine Engineer. I did not have time to do the work myself, and brought the car to another mechanic. There was no exhaust leak, he fixed the head light and ABS system, and slapped on a new inspection sticker for $100. DO NOT proceed with repairs from this garage unless you have the mechanical aptitude to realize that what they are charging is or is not fair. What a scam.

They came out and recommended wiper replacement, which i passed on, and an air filter change, which I went for, and it was maybe another 15 minutes before everything was good to go. 2 weeks later the air in my tires were low, so I called them up to ask if they had a self service station that I could use since I was their fairly recently, and they told me to just pop up & they'd take care if it- which they did! I can't comment on how they are with repairs, but I'd definitely be comfortable going in for an estimate, and will be back for routine maintenance on my volvo.

While I waited, the front desk clerk told me it would take an hour and a half to inspect my vehicle because my car was "too low" to fit on the lift. I told them that was strange because I had done business with them prior, with the same vehicle and never had that issue. The clerk's response was "Oh... you did?" The thought bubble trying to figure out what to say next was clear. At that moment, I knew exactly what this was. What should have been a $13.50 state inspection suddenly felt like it was about to become a $250 repair bill. Whether that was the intention or not, that's how it came across. When a simple explanation doesn't add up and the story changes after you mention you've been there before, it raises red flags. Needless to say I will NEVER entertain Midas again.
