They have wines for purchase all around the walls. The menu from the deli has a variety of sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, boards, and flatbread pizzas. You can purchase wine by the glass, cocktails and mocktails. I really like this place. I'm glad that Yelp led me here. I've been on the Ave, but I obviously never paid this place any attention. Now I've found this hidden gym in plain sight.

I ordered a mango smoothie and an egg and cheese croissant sandwich with tomato. My order was a Rapid Pick-Up order, and when I arrived, the screen showed that my order was ready. However, it was not on the Rapid Pick-Up shelf. I honestly don't understand why the system is showing orders as "ready" when they clearly aren't actually ready. I can only assume they may be doing this to make it appear in their system that they aren't behind on orders or something along those lines. I waited an additional seven minutes after my order showed as ready before I received my food. This could also create a serious problem for delivery drivers. If the system says an order is ready when it actually isn't, it can make it look like the driver is late picking up the food when the delay is actually on the restaurant's end. There was an elderly employee working in the bakery who was very sweet and tried to help me. She said she wasn't sure why my order was showing as ready and directed me to ask someone else. I then saw a mango smoothie sitting on the counter behind the employee making smoothies. I gave her my name and said, "I think that's mine." She confirmed that it was my smoothie but told me I couldn't have it yet because they had to wait for the bags. I explained that I had personally placed the order and was not picking up a DoorDash or other delivery order. I understand that there may be procedures for delivery orders, but I don't understand why a regular customer who placed their own order couldn't receive their already-prepared drink while waiting for their food. Why let a cold smoothie sit there and melt when I could be drinking it while waiting for my sandwich? A man walked by, and I'm assuming he was the manager because of the way he addressed me. He said, in a very authoritarian tone, "Do you want us to break the rules?" He then picked up my smoothie, put it in front of me rather forcefully, and said, "Here, we'll break the rules for you." I was honestly taken aback because I never asked anyone to break any rules. I was simply explaining that this was my personal order, not a delivery order, and that I didn't see the logic in letting my smoothie sit there and melt while I waited for my food. I understand employees have procedures they have to follow, but there was absolutely no reason for the interaction to be handled with that type of attitude. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. They did give me the correct croissant, but it was not toasted or warmed properly, and it was extremely dry. I specifically requested no salt and pepper, but there was salt and pepper on the sandwich. I also paid for a slice of tomato, and there was no tomato at all. The smoothie still had chunks of ice that weren't blended properly, and it didn't taste particularly good either. Overall, the customer service was horrible, my order was not actually ready when the system said it was, and my food was not prepared correctly. I understand following procedures, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I just won't be coming back to this location. If someone is not picking up a delivery order, I genuinely don't understand why you wouldn't give them their drink when they are still waiting for their food. And if the restaurant's system is going to tell customers and delivery drivers that orders are ready when they're not, that is something management really needs to look into. This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

Traveling through Baltimore dropping off a family member after a funeral decided to stop and get a bite to eat. We saw the Silver Moon Diner on Pulaski Highway decided to eat there. When in waitress was very nice. When we started to order my sister had said she had just eaten but she would share a sandwich with my brother. We were informed buy a very nasty mean ignorant woman who says she runs the place. But we cannot share a sandwich or she would charge us several dollars more for sharing a sandwich. We informed her that we had 6 people eating one did not want to eat because she and had already eaten. The nasty manager went on to tell us even if we did not want to order any food because of this she would rather lose $50 in food orders when to give up a $3 ridiculous charge. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone in Baltimore or anywhere. And just to make it very clear I am a pastor of Christian faith I hold no ill will against anyone from our country or from any country but these were the rudest foreigners that run this place I have ever encountered in my life. Bad job bad service would not recommend please share and pass on. And as far as this woman who runs this place they came to my table you do not run a business and treat your customers like crap just because you don't like Americans you came here we did not invite you. I went here 2 months ago with my mom and aunt. We went to dinner for my deceased aunts birthday who had recently passed. We were seated quickly, and my waitress was nice. I ordered the surf and turf. I got the Turf but no surf. First of all the steak that was listed on the menu was not what they had. My waitress did offer a different steak so I agreed and continued to order my meal. My lobster tail however was complete different story. It was over cooked. And I MEAN OVER COOKED. It was crunchy like it was fried and not steamed. The waitress understood my issue but when the nasty manager who kept walking past my table, ignoring and avoiding me finally came over after 25 minutes then refused to re cook my lobster or even take it back because it was inedible or take it off of my bill I was completely stunned. I will never eat here again. I would come here and have breakfast atleast 4 times a year. With no complaints. This was my first time having dinner here and my last time eating here altogether. Spend your money with a restaurant that appreciates you as a customer because you are spending your money not with this place. At all!!!! Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Where do I begin.... The food is unbelievable!!! The Crab Cakes are the best that I've ever had. No filler all Jumbo Lump Meat. The soups are amazing and the Md Crab is so good it should win an award. My husband gets breakfast no matter what time of day it is. He loves the pancakes as they not only taste great but they are so big he takes home leftovers. We have been several times and I have tried numerous items. Greek Salad, French Dip, Chicken cheese steak, Gyro's , Crab Cakes and so much more. No matter what you order you will be completely satisfied. Be sure to save room for dessert when you go. There is a huge selection to choose from. The German Chocolate is so yummy and we always take a piece home. Nikki and Stacey that work there are so kind and nice and make you feel like your family as well as their awesome staff and servers. Way to go Silver Moon we cant wait to come back. read more

After making a complaint about my food, Waitress spilled two glasses of ice water in my lap. I often questioned if it was racially driven. With the recent acts of racism, cyber bullying, threats and barrage of racial insults documented & reported, I now know this place & its staff is indeed under Racist ownership and run unprofessionally!!! Silver Moon is very consistent in its good food and service. My family has been coming here for eons and I always get the same thing, breakfast for dinner. I sometimes get that massive crabcake and its delicious. I got the meat loaf my last visit and it was like my grandma used to make. I always joke that my only complaint is the menu is too large and it takes me forever to make a choice! read more
