Been to Silver Moon in many occasions. We usually go to Silver Moon for breakfast. Their french toast is made from a loaf of French bread sliced on an angle then soaked in their egg mixture and grilled. It is heavenly. Met a friend here yesterday and she got a turkey Reuben and homemade chips and I got a regular Reuben with French fries. Our sandwiches were excellent. Service was great as usual. Meals are competitively priced. No issues here. They have free refills on pop. This place is only open for breakfast and lunch and can get busy because it's a great place to eat. At this time of COVID-19 every other table was marked with a Blue X. read more

Service was amazing! I never even had a half empty drink. The food was fine. I would expect something that says it has pico de gallo to not be covered in a Verde sauce. Everything else was acceptable. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. I tried calling in an order for my lunch break and on the first ring it just continued ringing for a few minuets so I hung up and called back a few minutes later and you heard them pick up the phone and hang it up so I tried a 3rd time and then the phone was off the hook. Excellent tuna salad. Overall the food was very good. Service was fast. Ambiance was spartan but diner like with its tin signs. Someone described as quaint. That's a bit of a stretch but maybe this was very quaint for that person. Bottom line is the food was good. Coffee was ok. Not strong enough but fine. I'd recommend for food and service. read more

I've been in the hospitality and working with people for most of my life and NEVER in my life would i treat my customers the way the waitress treated me, my daughter, sister and mother. I've been coming to Silver moon for years and never been treated with such rudeness and attitude. The waitress (Sonya) I have never seen and most likely will never again as i will never come back. i decided to call the next day and asked for manager and BOOM it was the rude waitress. She doesn't even know how to speak on the phone to people. To bad she ruined it for us, Silvermoon was our go to meeting place. I will be praying for Sonya as she needs some compassion in her soul. read more

Menu said breakfast was $11 I was charged $19 for a $10 breakfast with coffee didn't complain paid my bill and left. Won't be back they need to explain or update menu because a cup of coffee shouldn't cost $8 staff was pleasant but hell they should be the way they're overcharging people. Cute diner that we tried out for breakfast. The diner itself was cute and clean. The prices weren't typical diner prices though, a bit more than I would expect from a diner. Everything food wise tasted good, but the French toast was the best item any of us had. The place gets quite busy by 10a on Sundays or it did while we were there. Service was slow and rude, the beans tasted burnt, lettuce on my burger was wilted, meat was dry and there were flies all over the place.

Had the turkey chipotle sandwich w/fries and it was delish. Just the right amount of chipotle sauce, shaved turkey, and pickles with onion on a super fresh bun. The fries are a cut above rest. The cafe was hopping busy at lunch time but service was great. read more

Great local diner! Glad my friend recommended this local spot. The western omelet took up half the plate and was delicious and the tater tot skillet had a delicious jalapeño ranch sauce on top! Would definitely recommend either one of those dishes. The fruit was also very fresh as well. We will definitely be back every year when we come up to the Toledo area. read more

We found this little gem accidentally, but I'm so glad we did. The waitressing staff are absolutely great, very attentive, quick, friendly. The food is very good and not expensive. It does get quite busy on the weekends, so best to get there early. My only gripe is that it closes early, but I appreciate they have a life! read more

First of all, the food was disappointing. My boyfriend got the lite breakfast and his pancake was dry, his sausage was dry, and he didn't get his coffee. I got the tator-tot skillet and it was gross. It was basically flavorless except for grease and cream. The waitress forgot everything we asked for, and I had to ask several times. To top it all off, the owner (?) was pacing around and passed so close to me every five minutes and stood behind me for no reason. I was very uncomfortable and disappointed from this trip. read more

When this restaurant opened, the food and service was exceptional. Now the food and service is subpar at best. They also close at 2 and they lock the doors ahead of time to avoid any additional patrons coming in and staying past 2. Not very welcoming in my opinion. read more

I enjoyed the food until I looked through the window into the kitchen. That's how u noticed how dirty this restaurant really is. There is even dust bunnies hanging from the pass thru window. That's right, one of those little suckers can drop into your food as it sits there waiting to be picked up. Health department please stop by here! read more

My husband and I just moved into the area a few months ago and fell in love with the diners in the area, though this one definitely was not one of them. We visited this diner for the first time and will not be coming back or recommending it to anyone. I don't even know where to start with this place. The food we had there was bland and had no flavor. Our server Kim had an attitude and pretty much treated us like outsiders. The way she treated her staff was really unprofessional also. The kitchen staff wasn't wearing gloves when handling food which is really unsanitary and disgusting. If I could give them a negative star I would! read more
