I finally found my new nail salon! Called today at 10 a.m for an appointment at 11. When I got there I was immediately sat in a chair and got my manicure started. I had initially planned on getting a gel manicure, but I saw they had a huge collection of dip powders and got that instead. They have a huge selection of powders and gel colors! I was highly impressed. I had gel polish on a few of my nails and Kelly removed them the correct way, with foil & cotton soaked in acetone. Kelly was quick and efficient, she made sure to cover my entire nail with the powder & the prices are unbeatable! $35 for dip powder on my natural nails. I heard of this place from my aunt and her nails looked really good, so I thought I would try and I regretted it. The customer service was good, but by the third day of my nails being painted the nail polish had chipped off every nail. I was really disappointed and my money was wasted. I personally will not be going back again, however I do know a few who have had no problems. If you are planning on trying this nail salon go ahead just be cautious. read more

I loved this nail spa and was so sad to hear that they closed in July!!! If anyone knows where Hanna and her team has gone or if Hanna has opened another store, I would love to know about it!!!!! This review is long overdue as I had been coming here for almost 10 year on and off. Hanna and her team were amazing!! I always get pink and white acrylic with a gel top coat and am very rough on my nails. I never had a problem with lifting, chipping, or anything like that. My nails would even last for up to three weeks sometimes without needing a fill! Hanna could always do the white acrylic by hand and perfectly straight (huge pet peeve of mine)! The gel top coat that they use was a very good thick top coat that would protect the acrylic and you could even paint over if you wanted to!! They had huge spa chairs for when you wanted to get pedicures (which were also amazing). My family has been coming here for years (as I said) and loved it!! I would get my eyebrows done and again, Hanna did them perfectly. They had a side room to do waxing and everything. I loved this spa and am SOOOOO sad that they closed down after so long. I hope they just moved and I can find them again!!! read more

I went her for the first time and chose to go with Kim because I saw a post with gorgeous nails she had done for another client here on yelp (raylen). I showed her the photo with the color powder and she said ok. She didn't converse with me or made me feel welcome. What she did do is put another color and leave them THICK. I asked her to please make them thinner and she had an attitude about it. Still my nails were thick! I was annoyed and sooooo unhappy. It's literally her work on the photo and my nails looked nothing like them. I asked for coffin and she gave me square. I paid and left because I don't like to make a scene. I went directly to another salon down the street on PCH/western and they had to file them all down so much. The tech was surprised to see them so thick. I would never go back to her. I'm not sure if the girl who posted her nails named the correct tech. Waste of time and money. Two stars because the First Lady in the front was very nice. read more

Holiday weekend looking to have a pedicure, passed several places that were full. Came across this place. They got us in within a few minutes. Prices were similar to the other places I have been to. The owners are brother, sister and sister-in -law. I got the gentleman who was very nice, they didn't try to sell us more than we came in for also, I had injured my toe nail several months ago, he noticed the nail wasn't fully grown back and fixed it with acrylic. Since I asked for a French tip it made the world of difference to the outcome .... also, we were in the chair for an hour and twenty minutes ... Best pedicure Highly recommend read more

I go to 2 different nail places, when I'm at work I go to cutie nails in Lomita (across the street from Carls Jr) when I'm home I go to Q Angel in Wilmington. Both of my regular places are closed on Tuesdays, last week my nails cried for help and I went to Silver nails spa only because of the reviews I saw on here, I should have waited to get my nails done the next day. I was not happy on how my nails came out in the end. An older guy did them, my cuticles were not cut, the polish was not cleaned up so there was paint on my skin, and my nails were not filed evenly.. so not coming back here. read more

Hanna is very kind and respectful. I went in there asking if she can do a certain style and she said yes, so I have her a shot. It was the best decision I made. Went to this nail shop many times before COVID. I work in the area. I had Jolly do my manicures and Lisa my pedicure everytime. They are great, friendly and were the reason I was a repeat customer. I called yesterday to aks pricing. Women on the phone said 20$ and then i asked if they took cards, she said yes. So I made a appointment for today. The lady who did my pedicure didn't even speak except for me to sit and pick my color. No hello or how are you even. She did ok on the pedicure. Except no cuticle lotion, no foot rub (just put small amount of lotion on legs and feet) and no hot towel. I go to the counter to pay and hand a man my card. The woman said something in their language and all i understood was the word "cash". So I told the lady I called yesterday and was told you take cards. They didn't respond but swiped my card. I look at the credit receipt I have to sign and it said 22$. I said when I booked my appointment I was told the price was 20$. They again spoke in their language and then the man said no 22$. I know it's just 2$ more but it's not the price I was given. I felt cheated by poor pedicure and then overcharged probably for using my card??? I asked if Jolly and Lisa would be back they said they didn't know. I'm sad! read more

Been going here for about a year now. I love how clean the place is and also live love the comfy spa chairs. So nice to sit in the spa chair to get both a pedi and fill. Everyone is so friendly here and Mary does an amazing job on my toes. The warm towel after my pedi is AMAZING! They do such great work here! So happy that Jolly is now here too. I consider this place slightly above average for what it is. It's a mid-level salon. Just a block away is Jolie Salon which is HORRIBLE. Both places are very close to my home and I've tried them both. Life Style is way better. Compared to more expensive places, it doesn't hold up, but for a slightly low-end type of nail salon, it does the job. They staff are nice and they do a decent job. read more

This place takes their sweet time. I was here for about an hour and a half just for a gel manicure. I was cut and bleed when they were trimming my cuticles but was told it was my fault. Even after the long period of time I was there, the manicure was low quality and had bubbles. The nail polish selection was old and from the dollar store. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I brought my 3 year old daughter in to do my nails with me. Since I had promised my daughter we would do our nails together. I asked a woman if they would simply paint her nails. And she giggled and told me yes. As they were doing my nails, my daughter was happy and excited. She kept talking about doing her nails. As they finished my mani, the woman was rushing for me to pay and I stopped her to remind her about painting my daughters nails. Mind you my daughter is a toddler, and even told the woman what color she wanted and to please paint her nails. And the woman laughed and replied to her "next time". I left the nail place with my daughter crying. It could of been because they were closing. But i did get there at 6 and did not leave till 730. So on top of that they took an hour and a half to do my gel mani. I was so disappointed and so was my daughter. I felt so bad. I will never come here again. read more
