Perfect hangover cure. The staff is always nice and service is quick, you probably won't be in here longer than an hour. Highly recommend the combo where you get the ramen and an appetizer. Noodles have a great chew, broth is nice and rich, and the spice level is very tolerable. For a hangover order that with lots of water and a few cold beers--follow that with a nap and you'll feel much better by mid afternoon.

We tried Silverlake Ramen in Long Beach for the first time, and we are definitely coming back! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Here is what we tried: The Blaze Ramen (Pork, Medium Spice): This was fantastic. The pork broth was incredibly creamy with a really great, smooth flavor. It's a very generous portion with plenty of noodles. Highly recommend! Karaage Chicken: Super crunchy and delicious. The sauce it comes with is a perfect pairing. Shrimp Tempura: Very good, fresh, and crispy. As a huge bonus, it's incredibly kid-friendly--my 2-year-old absolutely devoured her ramen! Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will absolutely be back!

My boyfriend brought me to Silverlake Ramen about 5 months ago and I absolutely loved it! I had never had a vegetarian ramen before and the one from here is so delicious! My absolute favorite is the broccolini with the sesame dressing is amazing! Just recently learned that I can have both the ramen and side of broccolini as a combo. This place has also great customer service and is very clean.

This is fast becoming one of my favorite places to get Ramen in Long Beach, conveniently located in the Long Beach exchange center, which is close to the hanger that has other eateries plus an ice cream shop across the street Silverlake Ramen has a lot of menu items to offer. Of course there's Ramen, but there's also Poké bowls and Karaage chicken bowls. They're also appetizers as well. Services fast and easy there's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Indoors is a little colder than I'd like it to be on a nice day outdoors is good to have your meal.

Came here for the first time after taking my daughter swimming. It's a bit smaller than I expected. The broth is very flavorful and the portions are a good size. I like that it's kid friendly in allowing them to pick and choose items. Very accommodating staff.

Combos - soup are both ramen tonkotsu with side appetizers of creamy broccolini and Chicken Karaage

Took my boyfriend here as it was his first time trying this place out. We both ordered the combo, which was convenient because we were both looking to order a ramen and appetizer. He got the tonkotsu ramen with the creamy broccolini and I got the same, tonkotsu ramen with chicken karaage. We both enjoyed the broth. It was very frothy and flavorful with a good umami taste. We both liked how to has simple ingredients - seaweed, green, onions, bean sprouts, spinach, and my favorite was the egg, and his favorite was the pork belly - cooked just how he likes it, crispy/crunchy on the outside and tender with an easy bite. I really enjoyed the creaminess off the broccolini. My boyfriend enjoyed the sauce of the broccolini and I liked how it seemed to be a little pan friend so there's were crisp. We both agreed the chicken karaage was okay. Tasted just like a basic chicken karaage. The service was okay. We did sit outdoors so our server came by a few times. But we were waiting sometime because we wanted more water. I had to wave through the glass window to get our server's attention. This locations has a great ambiance. It's located in the LBX Hanger area. Pretty spacious with a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. When we went it wasn't too busy.

First time trying this ramen at this location. I'm on a low salt diet so the is a broth bit salty for me I had to asked for hot water to make it more bland. Our server was very attentive she kept checking in. It was busy on a Friday night. Cool spot to dine in. Establishment is clean.

It just wasn't impressive enough, considering there are so many excellent Ramen shops in Gardena and Torrance. The broth was just average, a little mild for my taste buds. Service is also all over the place. Maybe it's because we went during a very busy lunch hour.

Came for lunch because of the amazing deal they have. You can get a mini bowl of ramen, rice bowl, and a side (edamame or salad). They have a variety of ramen types and bowls you can get, I got the blaze ramen which is a spicy creamy pork broth with bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, and seasoned egg. You get to pick your protein from pork, chicken, or tofu. My chicken karaage bowl was so tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. It has a japanese style fried chicken, teriyaki sauce, spicy aioli, green onion and red ginger over rice. The rice was cooked perfectly! Chicken karaage was nice and crispy and the sauce complimented it really well. For my side I got edamame which was steamed and salted. This deal is too good, and make me very full! Just a reminder that it is a lunch combo only happening Monday through Friday 12-2pm. Our server was very patient with us and we enjoyed our experience and delicious meal. There is indoor and outdoor seating with many tables already having chopsticks and napkins on them. Music is a little bit loud but I didn't mind it once I started eating.

This place was just okay for me. I enjoyed the medium-spice broth, but the overall quality doesn't really compete with other ramen spots in Long Beach. It isn't terrible, just not impressive. The seating felt disorganized. There was a long wait, which might've been due to the rainy day, but it was frustrating to watch smaller groups get prioritized. If you're in a party of more than 2-3 people, expect a longer wait. We even saw people who arrived after us get seated first. My ramen only came with one slice of pork, which isn't typical compared to other locations, and while the bowls look large, they're actually pretty shallow. On the positive side, the service was great. Our server was fast, attentive, and definitely a highlight. Overall, this feels more like a "quick lunch if you're already in the area and it's not busy" type of place.

Hands down my favorite ramen spot in town! The broth is rich and flavorful the noodles are always cooked perfectly

I felt welcomed by the cool tones of the interior design and layout actually. We waited by the door as a party of two. Not too long after we entered were we greeted by the hosted and seated outdoors, as we requested. Even though it is on fourth street which has plenty of street traffic, it was still a quiet, comfortable dining experience. Every thing on the menu looked and sounded amazing but I planned to try the ramen because I've been craving a good bowl of ramen for a while. I landed on the shoyu ramen with tofu. I really enjoyed the taste of the broth. The flavor and seasoning was soul-healing. I don't usually go with plain chicken broth in ramen but I felt confident in my choice. I was literally happy dancing with each bite. The ramen was so good! My partner went with a spicy order of tonkotsu ramen with chicken, garlic, and black oil sauce. I tried parts of it and it was also delicious! I wanted to try the sushi but did not have that big of an appetite for both sushi and ramen so I opted for the salmon poke tacos. They tasted very savory and the salmon was flavored really well. The temperature and consistency was not too overwhelming for the tacos shell. The service was attentive and not too invasive. We took the check to the counter to pay. I am excited for our next trip here. It is dangerously walking distance for us! We came in specifically to order two coco cloud matchas and requested extra matcha cloud. The cashier/server explicitly agreed to our request. However, when he handed us the drinks, I was in total dismay-the matcha cloud wasn't even at a normal level, let alone extra. It was literally just a splash, leaving us with mostly coconut water. When I politely pointed this out, the employee told me to "just mix it and it'll taste good." When I said I wanted what I paid for and asked for more matcha, he shrugged it off and said they were running out and couldn't do anything. Customer service goes a long way. He could have easily offered a partial refund, explained the shortage before taking our order, or made more. Instead, I paid for a specialty drink that tasted like plain coconut water. Disappointing experience for a place I usually enjoy. It's truly bothering me that if they were running out of ingredients, they should have told us beforehand rather than charging us for a specialty drink and giving us a watered-down version with zero accountability. Very disappointing customer service today.
