i love trying new ramen spots and i absolutely enjoyed dining in here! i've been wanting to try this spot for a while and was excited to try it. they offer a brunch deal where you get two appetizers and two ramen bowls for $40, which is a great deal! i ordered the spicy tonkotsu and it was just the right amount of spice. you can get your spice level betwee 0-10 and i got a 3. im normally a medium spice person and the spice level here is spicier than other places. i loved the pork in the soup, as it was the perfect flavor for the soup! i also appreciated that it came with a whole egg instead of the half egg that some places provide. we also got the salmon tacos and brussels sprout tempura. i was seated in the patio and it was perfect for the summer breeze. this is located in a plaza with many shops, so you can find parking in the structure. perfect to walk around after a yummy meal. the staff is very friendly and there was no wait on a Saturday around the afternoon. the staff was also helpful in their recommendations and answered all my questions confidently. i would definitely dine here again! read more

This was our first time trying this Japanese ramen spot, and we came here to continue celebrating my birthday with our cousins. It was such a sweet treat from them, and I truly appreciated getting to spend this special time together with family. The appetizers were definitely the highlight! The salmon tacos and spicy tuna tacos were absolutely delicious, and everything else we tried from the menu was full of flavor. The drinks were also amazing and added to the fun experience. We ordered two dissent bottles of sake and it was sooo smooth and tasty! Super love!!! I do have to say, I was expecting a little more from the ramen itself. It was good, but for a ramen place, I was hoping it would be a little more flavorful and memorable. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We figured that with so few customers, we'd be able to enjoy a quicker, more relaxed lunch. Unfortunately, that assumption couldn't have been more wrong. After placing our order, we waited approximately 45 minutes for our food to arrive. As the minutes continued to pass, I actually started writing this review while still waiting for our meal. During that time, I also took the opportunity to read through other customer reviews. I noticed that several other diners had mentioned similarly long wait times, which made me realize our experience may not have been an isolated incident. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the experience simply didn't justify the amount of time we spent waiting. If you're looking for a quick or even reasonably paced lunch, I'd recommend dining somewhere else. On the other hand, if you're willing to wait 45 minutes or more for your food and don't mind a slower-paced experience, you may still enjoy the meal once it arrives. Didn't love this place. I've been to other JINYA locations and have loved the food so I was excited to pop in here for happy hour/late lunch. I got a salad and it was mostly just lettuce and dressing and unfortunately wasn't good. The dressing was lacking flavor and salad needed more than 1 cucumber and 3 tiny pieces of tomato as toppings to offset the bitter lettuce taste. I didn't finish it. I also got the tuna crispy rice which was really good / like I remember but unfortunately made my stomach upset not long after eating. Came here on Valentine's Day with my husband and son. No wait right around 12 so it was perfect! We got seated right away. My husband ordered the black tonkatsu and I ordered the classic tonkatsu. we also ordered the kids meal for our son which was $11. The classic tonkatsu came with a thicker broth that was heavier in flavor and had thicker noodles. I wasn't a fan because I like my ramen broth on a thinner side and don't want the flavor to be too overpowering. The black tonkatsu was much more my speed. It was that familiar tonkatsu ramen that I like with black garlic oil. It definitely had more fixing which was nice for my husband, but I'm a "Chashu, spinach, and nori" kind of gal so the fixings were all scooped into my husband's mouth haha The kids meal was also amazing. There was a small bowl of chicken ramen, a bowl of Chashu rice, 2 pieces of karaage, and fries. On top of that, we had a lollipop and ice cream at the end. I've had Jinya twice, once to go and most recently to dine in. The service was good, but took 30 minutes to get seated at the bar. It seems like they're understaffed on the floor. The 5 piece Crispy Chicken and Premium Tonkotsu Red Ramen with level 3 spice were both very delicious. The chicken was definitely crispy, so I submerged a few pieces in the ramen, which made it more decadent. The staff is friendly & cool and I would return for happy hour. I appreciated his honesty when we asked for his recommendations and for what dishes were better than others. I ordered the Chicken Yuzu Shio Delight Ramen ($18.20). I liked how the broth was citrusy and light but the flavor of the chicken wasn't great. I am not the biggest fan of ramen and am rarely impressed by ramen places. For $29, you get 2 small plates (appetizers) and one bowl of your choice of ramen. We ordered at least one of each appetizer so we can all try. The crispy chicken (karaage) and the pork gyoza were a hit, the Jinya pork belly bun was also good, but what surprised us the most was the brussels sprouts tempura. Not only was it battered perfectly, it was also well seasoned - must get this! Most of us opted for the Tonkotsu Black ramen since this seemed to be one of the only options with pork chashu. One of the best ramens I've ever had... creamy, delicious 20 HOUR broth, perfectly jammy eggs, tender chashu, and just the right balance of flavors. Option to also add $10 for bottomless mimosas with a 1.5 hr limit. We also got a few of their cocktails & Sapporo's. The ramen selection is a nice variety and consists of beef, chicken, pork vegan. I was surprised that they even have beef Birria ramen! I was definitely tempted to try the Birria ramen because I love Birria but when I spotted the Tan Tan Men, I knew I had to go with this as it is one of my favorite ramen types. My mom chose to get the JINYA Tonkotsu Black. Another surprise was we got to enjoy a free appetizer for liking their Facebook page. We chose to get their Brussels Sprouts Tempura. I love Brussels sprouts and tempura and this was the perfect pairing. These came out piping hot and the tempura batter was so crisp. I really enjoyed this but my one dislike was it was a tad salty. With just a little bit less salt, it would definitely be perfect. The appetizer was great but the ramens were the star! Our ramens were delicious. I couldn't resist trying a little bit of the broth of my mom's JINYA Tonkotsu Black. The pork broth was rich and tasty. I also really loved how this ramen had one large flavored egg. So good! This place is great. Sometimes they can get very busy and there's a wait but it's worth it. I got the spicy creamy vegan with kale noodles and it is so good! The creamy broth tastes delicious, my favorite broth of all the ramen places I've tried. I love how you can switch out the noodles to their other option noodles like kale noodles. We always order the same thing: Brussels Sprouts tempura, JINYA bun (less mayo), and we share a Tonkatsu black ramen. The flavors of each item were consistent every time we come. This night jinya wasn't busy at all there was hardly anyone in there and maybe that's the reason why the service was bad. We waited quite some time outside before anyone saw us to help us out they have a "wait here to be seated" although there wasn't anyone in sight for a while. We didn't mind it too much until we realized the pattern throughout the night. Normally someone else will come to your table and asks for allergies and as I say "mushrooms" they ask whoever I'm with if they would like their mushrooms in their dish, on the side, or none at all, if their dish has any. This time they asked me but not my friend. His dish came with mushrooms so he just picked it out and placed it on a plate away from me. No biggie. But we only got asked once if everything was great, we kept having to flag down random staff for water, sauces that they took away, and also to order more chashu. I waited for it to eat with my ramen but after 25 minutes I flagged someone down to ask and they said they forgot about it and that they'll bring it out soon. By then my ramen was so cold and decided to cancel the chashu and ask for a to go. They felt bad and included extra chashu without charging. Spring roll - 2 pieces with a side of s/p. That too should have came with a spicy mustard or a sweet tangy dipping sauce. Impossible Bun - not flavorful. Our waitress check on us once when it was close to closing and after our food was nearly gone. We had to flag them down just to inquire about anything. When our food was brought to the table, the waiter thumb was pressed against the lemon and lettuce on my crispy chicken plate. I absolutely dislike ramen broth that is so salty it feels like it will make me need dialysis (such as the one at Santouka inside the Japanese Mitsuwa supermarket), but this one is not. The flavor is actually very rich and smooth, and I drink all of the soup. By the way, if you inform the server that you don't eat spicy ramen, they will serve the spicy sauce separately on the side. Seasoned Egg: It's a whole egg marinated for over 48 hours. When bitten into, the semi-solid yolk slowly flows out, which is unique compared to other ramen shops. Crispy Chicken: Made with chicken thigh meat, it's both crispy and tender. Eating it with the lettuce dipped in yuzu sauce is not only delicious but also helps reduce the greasy feeling. Panna cotta: With caramel, cookie crumble, and vanilla ice cream, this is a decent after-dinner treat, though it doesn't quite wow me. The interior decoration and ambiance are much more elegant than typical ramen shops. The prices are reasonable. They offer Happy Hour discounts on buns and fried chicken before 6 PM. I'd like to try other dishes next time. 拉麵店滿街都是，但像這種炸物和拉麵皆好吃的卻不多。 招牌蒸包：現在的拉麵店很流行這種類似台式刈包的餐前小點。燉肉配生菜和黃瓜片，淋上蛋黃醬食用口感不錯。 招牌豬骨黑麵：採用的是口感彈勁的細麵。肉的肥瘦比例和切片厚度剛好，燉煮的也入味，配上熬煮十小時的湯底食用很不錯。 我最怕鹹到要去洗腎的麵湯（像日超Mitsuwa裡面那家山頭火就是），但這家的不會，味道還挺濃郁滑順，我一滴不剩的全喝光。 和服務生告知不吃辣的話，辣醬會和麵分開放一旁 溏心蛋：是一整顆醃製超過48小時的，咬開後半凝固的蛋黃會緩緩流出，這倒是和別家拉麵店不同。 炸雞：用的是雞腿肉，又脆又嫩，搭配蘸柚子醬的生菜食用美味兼減少油膩感。 義式焦糖碎餅冰淇淋奶凍：這道飯後甜點還不錯，但沒到驚艷的程度。 店內裝飾和氛圍比一般拉麵店高雅的多。 價錢不貴。傍晚六點前特惠時段點刈包和炸雞較便宜。下次有機會還想嘗試其他餐品。 read more
