I always liked this place but the cash thing is working my nerves. Who walks around all the time with cash in an electronic world Call to order rudely - cash! Is what the person says on the phone! they take cards but charge you to use it? So you paying your cc company and them. I think.. I know! my last time going to them! Too many other places to go to get pizza then to have someone haggling you about having cash for food when you picking up! Also the woman is super nice and I guess that's why I forget and go back. The man not so much always seems miserable! Like someone took his lunch money!

This place isn't the greatest but it definitely hits the spot when you're in the mood. I enjoyed my steak stromboli. Even though this is a pizzeria, they have pretty solid breakfast too.

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The menu has many interesting items and the shared appetizers were a good start. The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

We arrived at 5 pm, place was nearly empty expect for 2 tables which gave us choice, we opt for the rear right corner. Proceeded to open our bottle (yes- a BYOB) and Olivia came to great us. I needed a glass of wine to wash away my photo-sorrow. But boy did our meal make up for it.... talk about a great unexpected find. We opened with the claims in white wine and garlic, was a bit on the salty side but was still a welcome opener and we dunked their fresh bread until it was gone. We then shared the Mediterranean Meatballs, wow, nice texture, soft not hard, flavorful. Nice dish. For our entree we shared the veal marsla which was accompanied by roasted potatoes and asparagus and the penne vodka... both were delicious and pretty platting presentations. We will certainly be back. See our plating photos

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

The menu is Italian, the alcohol situation BYOB. Service was nice. The gentleman taking care of us made several appreciated gestures such as helping me with my coat, giving us an ice bucket for the white wine and well timing each course that we enjoyed at a leisurely pace. I started with the soup of the day of lobster bisque. Smoothly and creamy. I enjoyed it. There was calamari for the table. We all agreed we'd had better. The chili sauce was nice and it was fried crispy enough but still chewy. Mains included a bland chicken parm served with penne. Nothing to see here. There was also a chicken saltimbocca that was okay. The chicken was tender in both dishes. I had the sacchetti with added shrimp. The sacchetti was filled with ricotta and served with a butter sage sauce. I would surely get this again. For desert we had the limoncello cake. Delicious! Overall, even with the cute setting the ambiance is a little stale. The crowd is heavy on the geriatric side. All that's missing is a little classical music in the background. If you're looking for a vibe uh no. A quiet place to take grandma, yes.

Our server, a lovely woman who's worked there 21 years (wow!) was attentive and friendly, making for a fun lunch. The food .... well, 3.5 stars. I'm on a Caesar-salad-with-anchovy kick. Lombardi's Caesar is nothing special. They need to experiment with dressings and come up with something better. Eggplant parm was good -- I like when it's thin and a little crisp -- and T enjoyed Chicken Siciliana prepared with peppers, mushrooms and capers. (I'm surprised they don't serve spaghetti with every entree. Really, how much would a commercial supply of pasta cost the restaurant?! Their $4 upcharge is excessive.) We shared dessert, chocolate peanut butter cake -- sort of like a large cupcake --that was mediocre, also excessively priced at $9. What I DID like is that Lombardi's is byob, without a corkage fee. And as I said, lunch was 3.5 stars good, which sometimes is good enough.

I made a reservation and selected that we were visiting for a celebration and wanted a regular table, not a high top. When we arrived we were escorted to the bar side of the restaurant and brought to a high top. The hostess was happy to move us to a nearby regular table when I mentioned it, which we were happy about. We started with cocktails - a white sangria and one of their signature cocktails - the orange blossom. Both were presented nicely and really good. For our apps we opted for the pizza bread with pesto and calamari. I don't like calamari much, but my bff loves it. However, I ended up having 3 pieces because it was so good. The pizza bread wasn't what I envisioned. It was a very thin, almost flatbread like texture, with a thick layer of pesto. I should have opted for the tomato topping instead. For our entrees, we did the make your own pasta dish with gnocchi, grilled chicken, peas, and a Rosa sauce, the chicken piccata, and a side of the parmesan roasted potatoes. The gnocchi was the standout here. It was pillowy, light, and so flavorful with the Rosa sauce. I could have eaten the whole thing. The chicken piccata was a little strong on the lemon side and the sauce needed to be a bit thicker. If it was served over pasta I think it would have taken it up a notch. The crispy parmesan potatoes were a hit. They were seasoned very well and delicious. They have a selection of desserts as well, but we decided to skip this time around. Our server was hustling and did a great job checking in on us. The establishment feels more like a nicer pizza place than a date night spot, but I'd go back for the gnocchi alone.

I visited for the first time (definitely won't be my last!) on Sunday evening with a few girlfriends. The area is popular due to the Keswick Theatre being nearby, so I definitely recommend a reservation. Every dish here is authentically Italian and made from scratch. It's a BYOB establishment and gives off an early 2000's Tuscan vibe. Props to our waitress, Chelsea, who didn't miss a beat. She made the dining experience so enjoyable. I was with friends that are regulars at Trevi, and she remembered what they typically order. It's clear she genuinely enjoys her job and goes above and beyond for her customers. Our group ordered a few appetizers to start - the Brussels sprouts and fried burrata ravioli were great options for vegetarians like me. The Brussels were seasoned nicely and the fried ravioli was crispy. I highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was thinly sliced and breaded. I asked for spaghetti on the side and it came with the perfect amount of sauce. Chelsea also stopped by with a cheese grater and sprinkled some cheese on top. We couldn't leave without having desserts and there were plenty of those to go around. I personally couldn't wait to try the banana gelato and I was not disappointed one bit! It was thick, creamy and full of banana flavor. From the food, to the service, to the customers, everything you encounter at TreVi is wholesome. The energy inside just makes you feel at home. I look forward to dining here again soon!
