This is not the RZR dealer you are looking for. I bought a brand new RZR from this dealer and another brand new RZR from a different dealer. I had a problem with the RZR from a dealer that was not Simi RV and the mechanic, Chuck basically told me bring it back where you bought it because if you bring it here it's just going to sit. I realize this man is not trained in customer service, but WTF? I promise I will not be bringing my RZR to this dealer for any warranty or customer pay work. Keith in parts is another story. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If I was rating them based on their parts counter-man, I would give them five stars. My girlfriend and I can't express how happy and 100 percent satisfied we are with our first travel trailer purchase. Fantastic experience at Simi RV. Lance and Brett worked together to help us select the best fit in a motorhome for our family. After the purchase (which they made effortless for us) we had a long and thorough walk-through of the motorhome's systems. So much to cover, so we still had lots of questions after the sale and they were all answered quickly and we never felt rushed or that we had "dumb" questions, even though they have probably heard the question hundreds of times. The service department is excellent as well. They quickly took care of the few minor issues we had with the motorhome, showed us how to work a few more things and installed an upgraded toilet for us (won't get too personal and detailed about that!), again, not a glitch or flaw in their system of excellent customer service. I want everyone to know Not to purchase a Polaris from Simi Valley RV. In Sunday ad they had a 2015 Polaris for $11,995. We drove all the way from Ventura purchase it. In deed they did have it and it was only when we sat down to purchase it is when they said the ad was wrong and the New price was $16,780. We said that was bait and switch. Jeff said that the newspaper got the ad wrong and the new price was $5000 higher. We thanked them for wasting our time and left. This is wrong in many ways. RV OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!! I waited some time before I posted this review. Well here we go. I took my uncle's RV to Simi RV to sale it for him. After putting it on the lot for a few weeks. I got a call from Jim on a Tuesday morning and he asked me if I had picked up my RV. I said no I was on a company trip. Jim said let me call you back in a few minutes. When he called me back he said he was looking on his Video and someone on a bike rode on the lot then rode off and five minutes later my RV was driven off his lot. I asked Jim if it was still parked in the same spot? Jim said yes all the way in the back of the sales lot. I asked him if his insurance would cover it Jim replied NO YOUR insurance will cover it. So I told him I would call my uncle and have him call his insurance. I said I will be home at end of the week and will come by and get my keys, paper work and police report. Jim reply's I will give you everything but your keys. I asked him where are my keys? Jim said I DON"T KNOW SOMEONE MUST HAVE LOST THEM OR LEFT THEM IN THE RV OR SOMETHING............ I found it funny that he did not have my keys and they usually have his trucks parked at the front gate. That night no trucks parked at front gate and no chains up and no keys... I HAVE LOOKED EVERY NIGHT I AM ON LA AVE AND HIS TRUCK HAS BEEN PARKED IN FRONT WITH THE CHAIN UP.. HUMMM!!!! Also when you go in his shop the keys are in a lock box but the lock box is wide open.. No one in the office and key lock box open. I sent a friend into Simi RV a few weeks ago and the lock box is still open with no sale people in the office. If anyone wants to see a picture please reply I have a picture. Long story short please be careful when dropping your RV at Simi RV. Jim still to this day has never even said he was sorry. I will never buy anything from him or his company. read more

We purchased a $26K travel trailer in 2008, then traded it in for an $85K motorhome. In both cases, the sales process was great. However, the aftercare and service is downright AWFUL. Forget about them giving a crap about you after you've signed on the dotted line. Unless you show up and park your motorhome on their lot (which is a royal pain because of their horrible small space and guaranteed bottom-scraping driveway), you get nothing. They've moved on to the next sale and you are literally on your own. They'll begrudgingly perform warranty work. I wish I knew of other nearby options. read more

Another busy with a customer, and another in their cubicle and not interested. We never received a greeting or even an interest in seeing what we were looking for. Little do they know we were looking for 2 travel trailers. One for us and brother in law that was with us. We had some much time wasted here I was able to call 2 other dealerships and check on their inventory. So guess what, we are both heading down to them instead. I am giving 4 stars because of problems with a brand new RV. 2016 Forester. I have to say this was such a smooth process in buying our first RV. Our salesman Norm was very helpful and patient. We test drove and went to the lot several times before deciding. He took his time with us showing how everything works. If car buying was this quick and easy I wouldn't dread car dealerships. Financing was smooth and quick. We went in the store there to get solar panels. They were so helpful and kind. We did have problems with the RV right away, which everyone says is expected. They allowed us to drop it off on a holiday without service dept. being open, so I wouldn't have to drive it alone. It is now fixed and at home. The only person I wasn't to keen on was some guy in service. He spoke rudely and talked to me as if I was being dismissed right away. I hope I don't have to deal with him. Not a pleasant person. So pretty much they're only missing one star due to the RV problem and the rude service guy. I would buy from them again. The price was competitive with other dealerships. read more

A year later, we continue to love the outstanding customer service at Simi RV. The smallest problem is treated as a complete priority. Getting a service appointment is painless and they show so much respect when working inside our coach. Sheets and plastic are placed everywhere so nothing is dirtied. That is a big deal to us! We recommend Simi RV to anyone we meet, mainly because we are confident that they treat every customer the way they have treated us. I came to Simi RV sale, because I live in Simi Valley and take pride in keep our business in town. Unfortunately my wife and I got there a month ago and no one met us or acknowledge us. We start to go through the RVs on the lot and got through them pretty quick. At the end we stop inside saw a couple people in the waited around and no one still asked us if we needed help. From being there about 30 mins. and frustrated we decided to leave. The following weekend we saw an add for a trailer and decided to head up to Lancaster. As soon as we set foot on the lot, we were met by a salesman. Even though the unit I wanted turned out to be to heavy for my truck. The salesman walk us through about 10 unit and educated us on the way. At the end we noticed a Forest River Wildwood Lite toy hauler. The wife and I decided on that one and purchased it. Fast forward it turned to need some warranty work a couple weeks later. I called Lancaster and service department told me there an authorized repair center for the Forest River rvs in Simi Valley. So, figured who it was and gave them a call, had to leave a message. The service department called me back with in a couple hours. He quiz me about the issue and where I got the unit. He left me with some parting words "we do not service trailers that have not been purchased from us" and than signed off with a good luck. As far l'm concerned this is a poor business practice. The sad thing to is I've lived in Simi for almost 50 years and bought my first trailer back in the late 80s. I'm giving a POOR rating for current management. read more

We bought a new 2021 Cougar 5th Wheel and picked it up in May. Jim Royal was our sales person. Jim answered all our questions and even answered his cell phone when we called, when he was not working and answered all of our questions during the time we were deciding what we were going to buy. Jim after the purchase also was a great go to person. When Jim was not available, Brett the sales manager was a great go to guy and also helped us decide what to buy and answered many questions when called as to how things worked on the RV. We can't say enough about the sales staff and customer service.****Now for our HERO at Semi RV**** "Bill" the Service Manager. In July, we went to take the RV out for the first time and discovered the refrigerator did not work, we called and Bill the service manager had us bring the RV in the next day and fixed it along with a few other minor issues we found, which is normal with a new RV. Jim in service also helped us out and was great to work with. We took a 3 day shakedown trip in August and everything worked fine. We then did a trip for 3 weeks in Sept and had a problem with the electrical system which would not keep the batteries charged, which caused the slide outs and leveling jacks not to work. We were out of state and could not find a mobile service person to help us, they all said it would be 3-4 days before they could get to us. We contacted Bill and to make a long story short, Bill spent 2 hours on the phone with me trouble shooting the electrical system, with most of the time spent on his own time, after the service department had closed at 6pm. We determined what the problem was and we were able to fix the problem so my wife and I could enjoy the rest of our trip. Bill was very patient and so knowledgeable. We went to RV dealers closer to where we live and chose SIMI Valley RV as where we wanted to do business due to the great customer service, even though we live 2 hours away, and we are glad we did based on the customer service from all of the employee's. As I type, I am enjoying my new travel trailer I bought at Simi Valley RV. Norm was our salesman. We came in with a good idea of what we wanted, but he listened to us and helped fine tune the right RV for us. He clearly has a lot of experience and knows what features are valuable for the long haul (not just what looks good on the lot). The sales process was very easy. I did enough homework to know what a reasonable price is for our model, and they were were not greedy in trying to insist on more. This was a welcome change from another dealership that did not get my business, They did face challenges in preparing the rv for delivery on the date we scheduled. When we said that a delay would seriously impact our plans, they got it done. They did a great job too - I still can't find anything that needs to be fixed. The initial tour Norm provided of the systems was first rate. Lastly, the customer service continues. Norm encourages you to text him with any question even while you on own the road. We can't speak to some of the posted experiences that were bad. We CAN tell you about our experience. Back in July of this year we decided to buy a PrimeTime Tracer 230fbs. Simi RV had one but before we got back to the dealership it was sold. We were sad. The salesman we were working with, Bob Morehouse, said we could get another one from the factory so we put our money down. It didn't come in when promised and again we had sad faces. We expressed our sadness to Bob and next thing you know we get a call from the factory rep at PrimeTime, Mark, who told us it was not Simi's fault it was the manufacturer. PLUS Mark said the coach they were building for us had some mid model year enhancements. Happy faces all around because we were getting their latest and greatest. . .at the original price for the "old" one! The trailer finally arrived and we took delivery. Dawn in credit was great to work with and Bob took his time going through all aspects of the trailer and hook up. THEN he drove with us to make sure the trailer brakes and everything worked after it was hooked up to our Jeep and THEN he accompanied us to where we are storing it and helped us park it. WAY above the call of duty in my humble opinion. This is the first time we've purchased a new RV and this is the first time we've dealt with Simi RV. It was a long process to get to delivery, but the team at Simi RV blew us away with their 5 star customer service and continued updates regarding delivery. We can't speak to mechanical service yet since this is a new trailer, so be looking for that rating in a year or two, though I expect it will exceed our expectations as well. Oh, and PrimeTime's Tracer is a fantastic trailer and is built REALLY well! I just purchased a travel trailer from Simi Valley RV. The experience I have had with Salesman Bob has been out of this world. When we first went to look at trailers he had educated us on several options and told us to go home and think about our options and contact him when we were ready to make a decision. We returned to make our purchase and we decided to buy the Springdale 303 Bunkhouse. The trailer is really nice and very roomy inside. We had other accessories installed and Bob went out of his way to assist the service department with some installation.
