We were initially a bit concerned about moving away from custom doors, but we chose the wider bevel option, and they look great. We were very impressed with the efficiency and installation of their product. Nine years later, these vinyl sliding doors have had no issues, aside from tightening the handles once. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive option during our research, but they've proven to be reliable and well worth the cost. Recently, we needed to repair one of the screens after our pet ran into it, and their team was very accommodating in helping us out. Michael Crooks was very responsive as a company rep and everything he quoted was delivered just as he said. The quality of the shower is excellent and we love the Koehler fixtures. We chose black on white to assist those with visual deficits and really like how they turned out! The fold down seat is also a plus for those with endurance challenges! The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. I very much regret choosing The Window Factory for my relatively-simple window changeout…read more The Window Factory (TWF) finally completed work for a 12-week contract signed Jan 17 on Oct 29 -- 40+ weeks, 34 of which were due to TWF's mistakes that they "take full responsibility for". Eyal's false claim in his response to this review that "we fixed it" is based on TWF's claim that the discount provided at the time of contract signing to induce me to sign means they can take any amount of time to complete the job. Therefore, completing the 12-week job after 40 weeks while providing zero compensation for the delay is "fixing it". Presumably TWF believes they are entitled to take any amount of time to complete your work if they give you a discount as well, even if they "take full responsibility" for the delay. Communication with TWF was abysmal, including (but very much not limited to) 4 ignored emails and 2 ignored phone calls leading up to my original review. Eyal finally responded only after I posted my review and offered me $250 if I would remove that review, though TWF offered nothing in compensation for being 34 weeks late if I would not remove the review. I suspect that may be a good indication of TWF's priorities. James (sales person) was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and that demeanor in the sales meeting was a substantial deciding factor in choosing TWF over a competitor with an offer very similar to the discounted offer I was provided by TWF. He continued being helpful up until recently, addressing communications and operations roadblocks surely outside the main responsibilities of a sales role. Unfortunately, James does not manufacture nor install the windows (of course), and I found those aspects of TWF to be unacceptable. Remember that your full experience with TWF will not be solely with James.

James, their salesman, came to my house and walked me through the process and my choices for window and sliding glass door replacements. James even met me at the warehouse to look at samples. I was replacing "French style" sliders and a window with a more open concept "prairie design." The windows looked remarkably high quality. And James was very professional, detailed, and gave good explanations of the process and timeframe. A sales rep. from another window company came out to give me a competing bid and he fell short of James' caliber. Later Francisco came out to do a detailed measurement, and he was the lead man in charge of the installation. He was friendly, informative, punctual, and answered all our questions. At the arranged time, Francisco's team came out, each with their area of expertise. We watched the process which took about ¾ of a day from start to finish. They took out our old doors/window and installed the new ones. Then the detail guy did a fantastic job of professionally finishing each door and window, so they are very aesthetically pleasing. Then the crew cleaned up the area well before leaving. All of them were genuinely nice and respectful of our property. The windows and doors look wonderful. They open and close freely. The kitchen window slides both ways. And my home looks more open and modern. It's like the backyard is part of our home now. I definitely recommend the Window Factory. The renovations made a huge difference in my home and were a very good investment.

We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Ironically, we actually had an opening Thursday and tried to make it work. I called the office, and the receptionist took a message for Damon. He never returned the call. I called him myself on Friday around 12:50 PM. He said, 'Oh, I'm working on your estimate right now, I'll send it to you.' Funny how he knew exactly which brand and product line we had chosen, while still claiming he never received the receptionist's message. Lie and another lie. This guy threw his co-worker under the bus without any hesitation. By the way, when I called the office again on their next business day, the receptionist confirmed she had given Damon the message. What else Damon lied or will lie about??? He came across as a sleazy salesperson. Most disappointing of all, Damon never sent the estimate, so when I called the office again I canceled their service.
