My hubby has an apt at 1pm, we arrive at 12:55pm to Fill out forms. The man at the front desk was incredibly kind and made the check in process super simple. We filled out the forms in mins and returned them, we then realized that our apt is actually at 1:30 but for paperwork your suppose to come in 30mins earlier. My hubby has meeting at 2, we didn't plan for this delay! The front desk guy was awesome, I let him know we where in a time crunch and he got my hubby back there for imaging by 1:15pm! Getting a mammogram is obviously not really an enjoyable experience but this place seems to find the best mammogram technicians. This is my 2nd mammogram (1st was a different location) but this place makes it at easy & comfortable as possible. Today I got a 3D one so it was a little extra photos but she said it was definitely worth it for the 3D imaging. Lesley was calm, friendly & informative. She made me feel at ease even though this is a highly uncomfortable situation. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend this company. read more

Not sure why, but at least twice now, I am given a referral to call to schedule Xray/MRI and then ultrasound. When I call # on form to schedule an appointment (702) 436-5475, I am always left on hold. And, if/when someone does answer, they hang up the phone or transfer me to a survey line! One day, I was repeatedly hung up on when someone picked up after holding. NOTE: you can schedule your Xray/MRI/Ultrasound appointment online, which is what I resorted to do since I was unsuccessful calling. The ultrasound I needed wasn't on the form, but I chose a different box in order to get an appointment. Another issue I've had, is their MRI machine seems to be out of order often. The staff itself in the office are friendly. I prefer the other office in Henderson on Coronado Center Dr., but they do not do certain MRI's there. read more

I did all my paperwork and gave all my copies the week before my actual appointment, the receptionist made my appointment at the wrong location. I live behind the clinic a could throw a rock . I found out when I came in and had to wait 20 minutes before being able to check in . Then was told she made it at the wrong location . It was for my mammogram and my Obgyn appointment was the next day . The new receptionist told me to go to the other location if I wanted to keep the appointment . I did so that I could get my results the next day but was told they couldn't see me . SMH read more

Incompetent. Took my insurance card and scanned it at the front not realizing that they don't even take my insurance. They called me after I was seen and told me I had a balance of 210.00. Since my PCP sent them a referral just yesterday at 3 PM, within less than 15 hours, I have had six texts and five phone calls generated by the Simonmed system. I understand they run a business and do not care about patient privacy, calling and texting nonstop from various numbers. That does not include emails. After I scheduled my tests today, their system generated a phone call prompting me to schedule it after it had already been done. They use technology that runs wild and they have 0 control over their algorithms and bots, and the system. I am submitting a complaint to FCM and Consumer Protection Bureau his hustle is not acceptable. read more

They collected a hefty copay. They were fully paid by our primary and secondary insurer. After multiple calls and letters, we have been unable to secure a refund. They said our secondary has not paid. I confirmed with my secondary that Simon med accepted the payment. We will no longer use Simon Med for our imaging needs. read more

This office only does chest X-rays by walk in. I arrived shortly after 10 am and I left at 1:10 after not being seen. The receptionist said the tech goes to lunch at 12:30. I was the last patient before 12:30 and I guess he went to lunch! Absolutely no communication between staff and patient. There were many who came for scheduled procedures that were told they needed to reschedule because of some glitch. They should have been called ahead of showing up! My husband needed some U/S done and we made the appointment three weeks prior. Representative was very friendly and quaint. However, when I called back to confirm the next rep told me he was only booked for one procedure but needed two different anatomy of the body, but same modality. Unbeknownst to us, one needed a different preparation than the other. We had to re-schedule to have both accommodate on the same day; instructions provided that the first procedure was nothing to eat or drink for eight hours prior to exam and the second needed at least 32 oz. of water consumption. Upon arrival at the Mountain Vista location, the front desk was very rude. In a tone of almost scolding she said that the first procedure my husband needed to consume 32oz of water. Luckily I brought three bottles of water. The tech was very friendly, however she was 30 minutes late and the front desk failed to advise us of this situation. Being late happens to everyone, life happens. However, this should have been communicated first hand that there is at east a 30 minute wait so my husband could have taken his time "jugging" in that 32 oz. of water. We were not the only unhappy clients that day. It seem the others before us had issues with the front desk person. read more

The first time I went there in 2017 I had a fairly good experience although the person doing my ultrasound was not very friendly. The second time I had to wait due to an equipment failure. I understand that things happen and the radiologist was very nice. The third time I had to wait extremely long. The guy doing the CT scan treated me as if I were not a human being. Very rude. I had to pay that in full because it was not covered by insurance. Later they billed me for an extra $11. They sent me to collections and affected my credit rating (I did not receive a bill) all for $11. So in summary I paid over $600 to SM out my own pocket, was treated no so well, and took a hit on my credit rating. My wife had an appt at 2:45. Was told to arrive 15 minutes early. Then was not called back until 3:50. No reasons given or concerns that we had to wait over an hour past our appt time. Doesn't take much to just say, "we are running behind and it might be an hour wait." At least then we could've decided where or not to wait. read more

This facility is subpar at best. Scheduled appointments are not honored. Patients sit in the lobby waiting hours after the appointment time. Technicians walk in and out of the facility without ever addressing waiting patients. The front desk is not manned during receptionist breaks so patients that just happen to show up during a break are forced to wait until the break has concluded to check in for a SCHEDULED appointment. Opt for Desert Radiology or Steinberg because this outfit is unorganized and not patient centric. Customer Service is key and they lack it. read more

If SimonMed's scheduling process is any indication of its imaging abilities, we're doomed. Had an MRI scheduled and they arbitrarily cancelled it two days before. I called the number they provided and spoke to a "scheduler" who informed me that they had an opening "today." I booked it. An hour later, i get a call from SimonMed saying that i needed to schedule my appt. I explained that i had already spoken to someone in their office and i had scheduled the MRI for today. She said, "We can't schedule you today because we first need to get verification and authorization, which takes some time." I explained that a scheduler from SimonMed's own office had scheduled me today. "Yeah, they shouldn't do that," she replied. She also had no record of all the insurance info and health background i had just provided to the scheduler, so I had to do it all again. After scheduling, i get an email confirming my appt. Ten minutes later, i get an electronic voicemail saying i needed to reschedule my appt. I called and the scheduler said my appt. was still scheduled. So, I THINK i have appt. Ironically, at the end of the call, an electron message comes on telling me to "stay on the line for a quick satisfaction survey." It then automatically disconnected me. Perfect. Not impressed. No COVID questions or temperature taking at the main entrance. They allow you in back patient area to use the restroom without taking temp, but when you are called for appt, they take temp but it's the exact same area, very strange. Waiting area doesn't look very clean with dingly lighting. It doesn't seem very professional here. I'm waiting over 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I arrived 30 minutes early, so I'm not happy. The tech was nice but in a rush. I had to ask him to slow down a couple of times. They don't have a patient portal to access your records like Southwest Medical does. so you constantly hve to call to ask if they are ready, then you must pick them up rather than print from your account like southwest. The chat option online is a joke, maybe they are understaffed but the options are not complete enough, then finally when you get someone, they can't help because they don't have answers. The staff at this location seems like very nice people but generally inefficient in getting things done. The best thing this organization has going for it, is a cash price if you don't have insurance. read more

Are you kidding me? Three weeks later and more than 15 hours of my time to schedule one appointment that hasn't been scheduled, and there is no way out or in. Called SimonMed's "appointment line" and held for 28 minutes only to be transferred to another department where I held for 17 minutes, and was then transferred to the operator. Held for the operator 22 minutes, and was transferred back to the appointment desk. The appointment desk transferred me to Phoenix who transferred me to Las Vegas who told me I needed a different department and transferred me to a different location in Vegas who also said, "oh, I need to transfer you to another department"....and this was just TODAY! The front desk person had their mask under their chin not covering their mouth and nose. The xray tech did not leave his mask on during the xray. The lobby is not set up for social distancing. The changing room is far from the xray room and walking down the hall in a hospital gown is not comfortable. No hand sanitizer in 2 dispensers on the walls or in the restroom, both were empty. The xray went well, however, during this time of Covid, it seems a medical facility should be doing much better. read more

After seeing my doctor in an unplanned Saturday appointment who referred me to SimonMed, I received a call a few hours later on Saturday to schedule my ultra sound scan first thing Monday morning. Hands down best emergency type medical appointment received from an imaging company! Regarding scan, Amanda C. The technologist who performed the scan, remained aware of my surgical site as she performed the scan! Very conscientious, polite and informative. The expedited report was finished a short time later and faxed to my physician! I experienced a great team effort and Amanda was a great frontline person for SimonMed! read more

The staff was definitely the best part of my experience. David who checked me in was amazing with his knowledge in account to my questions I had regarding coming in on a lein case. His customer service was off the charts, along with the others checking guests in. Chad took my imagination with my MRIs. He was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and thorough. Chad is definitely in the right field in consideration to helping people in the health care area. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. SimonMed in Henderson puts ALL other radiological practices to shame. I have been to approximately 90% of them so this is a fact from my self, not just a guesstimate. So this is my first experience getting a mammogram which I was stressing out about.. when I came into the office it was quick and simple I was there for less than 15 minutes. The mammographer by the name of Deb was so helpful so compassionate and fully broke down everything that is expected. She let me know there was nothing to worry about and that there was only going to be a little pressure taking two pictures on both sides. Literally 5 minutes later I was done. Am I stressing I was for nothing... now the new stress is whatever the results are..lol... But thank you Deb for making my first experience a really good one. It makes it easier for me to know that next year will be a breeze! Had an appointment on Friday for a Dexa scan after waiting over an hour past my appointment time and being told I was next (they took 2 others back after that) I was then told it was going to be another hour or so. I was next for the Dexa scan but they were trying to catch up on Mammograms they were running behind on. I needed to reschedule because I was going to be late for work so I rescheduled for Tuesday. They kept my orders and told me they would have everything for me on Tuesday. I'm not sure what the issue is... lack of staff, ineffective management or non-customer centric policies and procedures but dealing with SimonMed Imaging is a nightmare. My daughter had a CT scan over a week ago. We nor the referring doctor has received the report. I called a few days after the scan to see when the report would be available and was informed that it is typically 3-5 days before a radiologist even looks at the results. I thought that was unacceptable. Imagine my surprise 7 days after the test when I learned it still hadn't been reviewed and this was after several calls and an in person visit to a clinic for them to even track it down. If I hadn't been calling and checking, I'm convinced it would have never surfaced. I have called the regional manager several time over the past few days in hopes she could be of assistance but still have not received a call back. Day 9 and still no report. This scan was order after my daughter was unconscious and ambulanced to the hospital. This is so unacceptable. read more

Normally, I try and write only positive reviews but in this case, I can't. I had a thoracic and brain mri this past week and was shocked at out uncaring the imaging staff was. First of all, I wasn't told how long the thoracic mri would take, which was about 45 minutes, then another 15-20 for the brain mri. When I was taken out to put on the helmet for the brain scan, my ear buds came out and, so I was blasted in the ears for the remainder of my visit. I didn't have a call button either and felt forced to just lay there. Also, due to spinal issues, my legs went numb and even though I mentioned it, there was zero offer to help get me down. I was so disoriented I walked out of there like a drunk person with only partial hearing left. The pathetic thing is that I chose this particular location completely unaware it would change my entire outlook on Simon Med. My ears rang for the better part of Friday. I would score zero stars but it wasn't an option Thanks to yelp. This location needs to be trained by the staff at the Flamingo location, plus they offer earbuds, music AND a call button. read more
