I went in yesterday for an MRI. I walked in crying because of the pain in my back. The woman at the front desk was amazingly patient, kind and empathetic! She understood my pain and felt nothing but compassion. Then the X-ray tech. Truly happy, upbeat and sympathetic all at the same time! Great experience for people in pain! Simon med is simply horrible from the drab offices to the indifferent staff. Broken machines, the staff does not instruct as they should

If you're going in for a walk-in x-ray, please beware that locations may turn you away. I went to five different locations today and all of them turned me down. All excuses were different and even calling their operations. Number told me that they were all open and doing x-rays just to find out when I get to the location they are not doing x-rays today or even all week. read more

SimonMed has a 2.0 low rating out of a possible 10. Their phone system is a wreck. Their overall employee attitudes are all 'entitled' and rude. Phone operators cannot speak English well enough to have that job. Their corporate managers do not return calls. On the good side. Banner Imaging is much better! read more

Unorganized disaster when you come to any of these locations .needed an expensive standing MRI of shoulder and neck , weeks after , we find out they sent middle arm shots to doctor , went back again , didn't work out , real mess from pretend doctors and technicians . I would not take the time to post this kind of negative comment , but this is serious for those who need real xrays read more

Their "open" mri is ancient, and seemed more like an automobile crushing machine. The receptionist was very nice, but this place seems like a healthcare facility right out of the Soviet Union in the 1950s. A locally owned competitor is a far superior facility with a more modern machine. read more

I had a horrible experience with this place. If you are making an appointment online, just know that the communication with the actual location is almost non-existent. If you are calling to get an appt you are most likely getting a call center overseas and you will have a hard time communicating with very little if any help. Multiple times I was put on hold and then hung up on. I managed to make an appointment for my mom online. She is in memory care and has severe mobility problems. Getting her to the appt was a huge process. When we got there we were told she didn't have the order from the doctor and her appointment was given to someone else. No call from them, no call to the doctor. Why wasn't I notified the appt was given away?! She was so upset. Obsessed about it for days. When we rescheduled I asked sepcifically if it woulf be a problem that she shakes and they said they had a head brace. But when at her appt they did not use anything and her MRI's were blurry and unusable. I am not asking for perfection, but the bare minimum of communication seems reasonable. Fighting an illness like dementia is already exhausting and painful and some consideration would have been the least they could have done. Honestly, everyone involved should be ashamed. read more

SURPRISE MEDICAL BILLING AT ITS FINEST!! So after getting the runaround from Simonmed appointments not being met (showed up and was told they were 4 hours behind and to "have a seat"). I finally got my service. My portion for the service (standard MRI) was approved and paid at time of service for $220 3 months later - I start getting calls from Simonmed telling me I have a balance due of $268 ???? Called my insurance company who told me that Simonmed is able to adjust charges post service and had charged my insurance over $1500 for the MRI... $1500 for an MRI...?????? If you need an MRI or imaging it might be worth the time to find a different provider, I will never use or recommend them again! read more

Every time I schedule something it gets screwed up. Last time it was for my 85 year old mom. They left her on a cat scan bed. She couldn't get out so she waited till the tech came back 15 mins later. Wtf? read more

I cannot say enough about this place. Danika at the front desk is very kind, and caring, she isn't just there to collect a paycheck she truly takes time to listen and understand what burst of warmth she brings to this facility, she treats you as if she has known you forever. As for the technician in the scanning area Sangtoo he also takes his time to explain and make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I've never been rushed or hurried along. These two are by far the best SimonMed employees I've had the pleasure of meeting. read more

On 1/6/23 I had 3 MRIs performed . One insurance covered the other two were out-of-pocket at a cost of $475. The insurance company was billed for the brain MRI, but instead of utilizing the funds that the insurance had paid for that MRI Simon Med off to take the out-of-pocket payment made for, the two additional MRIs and apply it to what they stated was owed from insurance. When informed that they were not authorized to apply an out pocket fee to what insurance had already paid (double dipping) I was told they would correct it. My deductible is $600 and premiums is $600 both were met in May 2023 yet Simon Med charges me $193 (5/20) $49.60 (5/22) and $171.39 (11/13) totaling an additional $460 over my deductible amount. When referencing my explanation of benefits and asking for itemized bills I received 3 different statements with inconsistency in the information provided. When speaking to representative I was told the billing department with address this and make the correction since my insurance will not reimburse the $475 out of pocket amount with out accurate statements and reimbursement from Simon med can't occur when they charged for deductibles that they were not entitled to receive. I have spent 11 months attempting to remedy this billing issue but can't get one individual who works in the billing department, and any person who attempts to address the issue has no authority to address it or provide a true explanation. I've had two individuals from my insurance company on 3 way calls with Simon Med only to still sit waiting for a resolution. Making up fees and not being able to keep track is evident by the multiple invoices I've provided. Charging my credit card without adding what the charges are for is how Simon Med continues to evade responsibility for their billing practices. The manipulating where payments are disbursed would constitute fraudulent billing practices. Delaying refunds for months on end also indicate nefarious billing practices. read more

I am extremely claustrophobic so this facility was perfect for me. Doneka was courteous, professional and so warm and caring when I called to make the reservation. She greeted me when I arrived and had such a gentle manner about her. Joshua was my MRI tech and completely understood my fear. He was reassuring, compassionate, professional and most of all kind. With each procedure he explained what was happening and left no room for fear. I so appreciate their kindness. If ever I have to go back for an MRI, this is the place I would choose! read more

Very difficult to make an appointment and schedulers are very rude and incompetitant. Don't use Simon Med Imaging.

Particularly if you worry about tolerating your MRI, SimonMed on Missouri is definitely the way to go. You may think that their name means only that the patient stands up during the test. In reality, I found also that it's the whole organization that stands up for your comfort and success. After being emotionally unable to go through two previous MRI appointments at facilities with very confining equipment, I enjoyed total success today at SimonMed Missouri. Manager Denica relaxed me immediately upon my arrival, and technicians Sangto and Cheo kept me relaxed with their comforting good cheer as they completed the scans while I enjoyed my time in a fully open chair-like fixture while wearing a see-through "helmet" that reminded me of my football days. SimonMed Missouri totally replaced my utter fear of MRIs with the confidence that I can serenely turn to them for any future needs. They are truly champions in the medical field, and I give them my sincerest thanks. read more

I have been to this particular MRI office a couple of times because it is a Stand Up MRI. It's difficult for me to lay down, for several reasons but this last visit for me, on Fri. 12th, was different. There is a wonderful receptionist/office manager named, Daneka. She was one of the most pleasant, helpful, young ladies that I have come across. Even when dealing with clients, over the phone, her conversation was kind and compassionate. The office area is small so you could hear everything that was said. As a 64 yr. old, I have seen and heard much in my days of doctor/dentist etc. offices. She actually made my day because I was not looking forward to another MRI. Thanks Daneka for making my visit a pleasant one !!! Carol W. read more

Very poor customer service! I needed some questions answered and after 37 minutes on the phone and 3 transfers they hanged up on me. I tried calling again and the same thing happened. While the call center staff of this company are disturbingly inefficient the staff at this location were lovely and nice. (Truly wonderful human being.) Fair warning though, they don't really have any idea the kind of person that will fit in their machine because after 2 hours of waiting, it only took 5 seconds to know that my hips weren't getting past the part that narrows. At 5'8" and 345 pounds there is no way I, or someone larger could squish into this stand up MRI. read more

We had to come to this specific location for their stand up MRI. Place just gave me a weird vibe. My mom was going to be an hour so I just got comfy and was scrolling through my phone. The receptionist left for what I assume was her lunch. And came back with a whole lot to say I guess. Normally people on their phones dont bother me, but she was extremely loud the whole rest of the time I was there talking to a friend. I couldn't believe the radiologist would unprofessionally just let her blab away with her personal convo like that. Mediocre customer service. I have no reason to ever come back here and I'm fine with that. read more
