Crooks and very unprofessional on the customer service/billing end. Was exploring getting three tests performed in June, they quoted me a price. I agreed, paid and had the tests done. Tests went fine - no issues with the brick and mortar. A month later I get a bill for 50% more, so I called. I told them that I went in, was quoted a price, agreed to that price and that is what I am paying. They told me that they understood and would open an investigation and to call back in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, I called back and talked to a CSR. She notified me that it was completely unprofessional to be quoted one price and charged another and that she would dismiss my charges and never have to hear from them again. 5 weeks later I get another bill and a phone call that my late payment is in danger of going into collections. Im 28 years old, credit score north of 800 - I dont have issues with paying bills. Even worse - this place was recommended to me by my company's provider (Premise Health thru Intel Corp). I called several more times, finally spoke to a supervisor who told me that she LISTENED to that phone call where one of her CSR's told me that the charges would be dismissed and that it wasn't fair to quote one price and charge another - and that they wouldnt be standing behind that employee. I was responsible for the charges..... What kind of company is this?! I've never experienced worse customer service in my life. You literally can't believe anything anyone says... Im writing a letter to Intel to get these guys removed from our recommendation list. These clowns could learn a thing or two about Customer Service, Integrity and Transparency. This place deserves NO starts. Listen to the reviews and save yourself time, money, and a headache. They called me 11 minutes before my scheduled check in time was, to inform me that the mri needed could not be performed because someone called in earlier in the day. . Very very poor service all around. I was called by Simon med to cancel my MRI's , yesterday saying my physician did not give enough clinical information. I tried to tell them that I was sure I had received the okay from the insurance company. 2 different people told me that no , they did not approve. I was not home when they called. I called back today and told them yes, I do have approval. They told me they never called to cancel me. I was so frustrated. I asked what time My appt was and they told me 2pm. I went at 2 armed with my okay from my insurance company . They then told me my appt. for 1 of my MRI's was at 130 and I missed that one and they were not going to do it today, only the 2nd appt. at 2. I explained to them what had happened and that I called and was told 2pm. Didn't matter. I was talking to the supervisor and he wasn't going to fit me in that day. He told me 4 x that Simon med didn't call me. I showed him the call from Simon Med the day before and then he said it was a PA from Simon med not the Sunlakes office who called. Not them. I told them it was still Simon Med and their mistake& they should also remedy it by fitting me in. He refused AGAIN!! I told him I managed healthcare departments my whole career and he needed to take responsibility for their mistakes and I have had 2 of my Drs. Refuse to use them anymore. His answer to that' I DONT CARE' it is no wonder that Drs. Don't want to use them anymore. This guy needs not to be a supervisor. He never apologized one time for what the company put me through .I will not be using Simon Med EVER again and will be telling everyone in my large retirement community not to as well. Advanced Imaging and all of Banner Imaging sites treat their patients with respect. Pretty pretty sad. They have no business providing or getting paid for their poor services read more

Darla, the tech, got me in as soon as I finished the paperwork. This was my first visit to this location for a mammogram. She explained everything well and didn't man-handle me unnecessarily, as other techs in the past had. She didn't have to repeat any views either, so I was quickly done and on my way. Folks, read the reviews and look at the BBB profile (F-). You do not have to get your imaging done with this company.. ask your Dr. for another name. I went in for an MRI where the proceed to tell me the my insurance would not pay for it, so would have to pay out of pocket. Long story short, my insurance covered 100% of the MRI, so Simonmed collected double the fees (MRIs are not cheap, so that is big chunk of extra money). I have now called them four times and each time they tell me the refund is waiting for approval and I should have my money in 5-7 days. Of course, it never shows up. Reading the reviews this seems to be SOP for SimonMed. I am certain they hope no one will notice or take the time to look at the payments their insurance company makes. I have now been trying to get my money back for two and a half months!!!!!!! I am thinking of collecting all of these billing "errors" and sending them in for insurance fraud. Perhaps that will get them motivated. Think of what they would do to you if you waited 2 years to pay your bill. They would ruin your credit etc.. When they owe you money they certainly are in no hurry to get it back to you. To top it off .. they told me I have a refund pending approval from 2015 that has yet to be paid. Two and a half years and they still have not issued a simple refund. Run from these people.. plenty of other places you can go! read more

Very upset with this imaging company. We have tried to get Nancy to called us back after leaving numerous messages and asking to talk to a supervisor. Our Dr sent us to them because they work directly with our Dr. But if you can use another place I suggest doing that. read more

I have made appointments for the same MRI 2 separate times. The first time, after waiting 90 minutes for my scheduled MRI, I had to ask how much longer before they got me in, to which they responded 40 minutes. On the second occasion, the "make-up" appointment if you will, I waited for 30 minutes when they informed me it would be another hour (past my appointment time) before they would get me on the table. Two afternoons off work, 3 hours wasted and I'm no closer to having my MRI completed. Very disappointed in the way this facility is being managed and recommend utilizing another facility unless you literally have time to kill. read more

My experience has been so bad with Simon med that if I typed it all you would not believe me. Let me bullet proof a few examples : repeatedly called to confirm appointment 2 x a day for 10 days after appointment has already been made, scheduled completely wrong( different body part), incorrect insurance on file even after I spent 15 minutes on phone updating with them, cancelled our appointment two times and rescheduled ( cancelled 15 minutes prior to appointment time ), morning of appointment told us tech would be 45 minutes late. The manager is lovely ... not! might be helpful if she spit out her gum. This location is a 1 minute walk from my office and even with that convenience I would drive an hour before I returned to Simon med. they have no consideration for their patients, whatsoever! read more

Update 10 days later- the xray results were not sent to my dr! I checked with dr office as they had not called. They noted they did not receive anything for me. So I called Simon med-oh, no idea why they were not sent? Run do not walk away from this place. Happy to charge you and your insurance, while killing you with sick building syndrome and not sending results? Terrible service! read more

I have had extremely poor service from the incompetent staff at this location twice previously, but due to the close proximity to my residence, I decided to give them one final chance. You've heard the adage "three Strikes & you're out." They are out! When I called to make this routine mammogram appointment, I was offered numerous times and dates at various times throughout the day to choose from. Because of my past BAD experience here, I very specifically asked to be scheduled as their very first appointment of the day. I have waited in their waiting room for over an hour and a half before only to have to leave and go back to work without being seen. I could've had a middle of the day appointment three weeks ago, but waited so that I could be assured of not having to wait, taking an unnecessary risk of being exposed to COVID while everyone else who walked in was taken back before me. I pre-registered online. I checked in online prior to my appointment time. I clicked on the link to notify them that I had arrived once I was in the parking lot. I stared at my phone waiting for a response. Nothing. I walked into the office donning my mask. I reported to the receptionist who gleefully told me their system doesn't really work, but they had received all of my information. Two other patients got called back to have their images done. I was left standing there. Fifteen minutes after my appointment time I notified the receptionist that I was leaving and to retrieve my paperwork. I reminded her that I waited an additional three weeks to have the first appointment of the day....an appointment which I arrived at on time for, pre-registered, and pre-checked in. She could have cared less. My advice is to save yourself grief. Read the other reviews. They are quite similar to mine. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere OTHER than SimonMed Imaging. read more

I made an appointment on Wednesday, May 3RD to have an abdominal ultrasound on Friday, May 5TH at 8:30 AM. I arrived at 8:15 AM to check in. I asked the person at the desk if they were running on schedule. I told her that I had an appointment at 9:30 AM a few miles down the road. She said they were running on time. I was asked to complete a form and she scanned my medical card and identification. At 8:45 AM, I became concerned and asked how much longer I'd have to wait. At this point, I was informed that they had overbooked all the appointments. I reminded them that I had an appointment at 9:30 AM a few miles away. In the meantime, I observed women coming in for their scheduled mammograms. The ladies were informed that they would have to reschedule because the technician did not show up for work. Now, 45 minutes after I checked in and 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, they are still not ready to call me back for the ultrasound. I proceeded to go up to the desk to get my order back to go to another medical imaging establishment. The person at the desk said things happen and would I like to reschedule or go to another location. I said no. She responded by saying "I just got off the telephone with your insurance company". "You have a $40 co-pay that I need to collect". I asked for my order back and left SimonMed. Later that day, I called my insurance company to get the names of other contracted imaging centers. I asked the customer service representative about the $40 co-pay. They informed me that I had no co-pay to be collected. I spoke with another contracted imaging center to schedule an appointment. I conveyed my negative situation earlier that day at SimonMed Sun Lakes. She said that I was not the first person to report the same experience. read more
