Stumbled upon this place by accident as I was picking up cupcakes for a friend that placed an order so I figured why not try some of the goodies they offered. I got a few items: fresh strawberry cake slice, ube cheesecake, berry cheesecake. (They were out of the ube mochi bar that day). Everything tasted yummy! We were so happy with the vegan cupcakes we ordered for my son's birthday. Jessica called me shortly after I placed my order online to confirm his allergies and go over the options. He is allergic to dairy and egg, and was able to have delicious cupcakes for his party. The ube was a favorite. The non-dairy whipped cream frosting was amazing! I ordered a custom birthday cake two days in advance. The cake looked great and it tasted even better. All my family members also thought it tasted amazing and everyone was asking me where I had purchased it. In addition, I was offered to pay in advance through a link sent to my email or pay the day of pick up at the register. I was also told the decorations I requested would make the cake box tall and they proceeded to tell me the dimensions so I could make sufficient room in my freezer. I thought it was a smooth process. My daughter and I had a nice time there. We got their newest sundae, matcha with adzuki beans, mochi, and condensed milk. The ice cream was flavorful and so creamy! I've had some bad mochi ice cream and this was really good. The service was quick. The owner came over and asked us to give her feedback for the sundae and thanked us when I mentioned that I thought the adzuki paste could be thinner (it was literally a paste) though it was still delicious. This place is a hidden gem! It's literally a minute off Highway 92 from the College of San Mateo exit, conveniently located next to Piazza's in the Laurelwood Shopping Center. Location and parking here is much more pleasant than the yogurt place on El Camino. The new owners totally renovated the store, and it is feels so fresh and inviting. They offer high quality frozen yogurt, ice cream, and freshly baked desserts (which are made by a local chef). My favorites are the berry sundaes and shakes. The matcha flavored desserts are also a nice touch. My friend's favorite is the yogurt parfait. The granola also had a very nice taste, I'll need to ask the owners where they get it! This place also has free wifi, which extends to the outdoor seating area that is semi shaded. I felt so content surfing (the internet) while enjoying my treats outside this weekend. Last but not least, the owners seem to be very nice and considerate. If you live nearby, or happen to be driving on Highway 92 with a dessert craving, give 'em a try! I've been missing JJ's but this is a really great replacement. The new owners have nicely remodeled the space and added several additional dessert items (chocolate mousse tasted great) in addition to good frozen yogurt. Wonderful treats! We tried their August specials: macadamias rum cake , the black Russian cake, and the blueberry lemon cake. The mac rum cake is a moist, pound cake like sweet texture with crunchy mac bits. The black Russian has a chocolaty taste, not overly sweet but moist and yummy. The blueberry lemon has fresh berries dotting the lemony cake. I have to say I'm a mac rum cake fan. We need to make another trip for more treats. read more

I drive from San Jose to come here to get the Ice Cream. Every flavor is crafted to perfection. If you are a Litchi Lover, this is the SPOT. Full Litchi pieces loaded into each bite, I was in Heaven! Had a few of their cookies, would 15/10 recommend the UBE cookies, soft and delicious. They had a wide selection of other cakes and desserts, always try to grab something new when I stop by, have not been disappointed yet. Will be coming back to try more ice cream flavors soon, highly recommend Litchi, Coffee, Strawberry, and Pistachio. I get them in the large to-go tubs so I can enjoy it for the week! read more

Brought home a couple of sizable fruit cups that are very fresh and tasty. They offer a good selection of ice cream, frozen yogurt, baked goods, coffee, tea and other items. Some of my friends turned me on to this new ice cream parlor for it's grand opening back in March. Considering the fact that I'm a self confessed chocoholic, I said yes and sampled their double chocolate ice cream which was phenomenal. My friend had a yogurt parfait with tons of fresh berries for it's topping which looked awesome. Love the very modern and clean decor inside and some of the custom ice cream cakes looks fantabulous.
