I usually drive quite a bit south to get good pho but thought I'd try and save some time and try here instead. The service is very friendly, however I am suspicious if the pho broth here is really made the traditional way or perhaps using some sort of imitation method or done in an Americanized way. My tongue quickly had a numbing sensation which is not normal. Perhaps way too much msg, salt or fake ingredients. This never happens when the broth is made traditionally and I have pho quite often. read more

We went here with our two teenage boys and our parents who had never eaten pho, so all were a little unsure of what they would be willing to eat. There was something for everyone on the menu. I love pho and it was a delight. My dad ordered it for the first time and loved it as well! The waitress was very nice and also helpful with recommendations, and the atmosphere was nice and quiet at the time that we went. The boys and my husband were able to find a chicken dish that they all loved and everyone mentioned how good the food was. Definitely want to visit again when we're backin Celina. read more

A Pho place in the area was a huge plus; this way, we wouldn't have to drive far. Growing up, my grandmother and mom always made it, or a huge Viet community in the area always had it available. So, moving to an area where choices are limited is tough. I was excited to find this place. The environment was nice and simple. They didn't overdo the design; it almost felt like a Vietnamese restaurant in California. The utensils handed out were spoons and forks, but I had to request chopsticks. Which threw me off. The menu is to be downloaded to your phone. It takes a while since the signal is shotty, and there isn't Wi-Fi. So it took a minute for it to download. When it finally downloaded, seeing the options in English was a bit odd, so I had to readjust my thinking, but I can understand why they did it. Don't let the name fool you. The menu is anything but "Simply Pho." There seemed to be more Chinese and Thai foods than Vietnamese. The pho was pretty good and decent for satisfying a craving on a cold or rainy day. So, the name threw me off because there was a lot on the menu. But again, I can understand why they did it. Maybe changing the name would ease my mind. It's definitely a misnomer. We ordered the spring rolls and the Pho combination. The spring rolls were good, and the peanut sauce was delicious. The Pho was good, and the portion size was right, including the noodle-to-meat ratio. However, after eating the pho, I wanted a pallet cleanser. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything to offer. I was even hoping for Thai Tea, che, or fruit. The service was good and very attentive (probably more than needed), but they did a good job. It was fast and efficient. I don't think this would be a place that I would recommend to my VERY opinionated Vietnamese parents and elders. But it is a place that would satisfy my little family's cravings on that rainy or cold day. read more

We went for our first time last night and it was so delicious. The staff is so warm and friendly AND attentive. My husband ordered the chicken Singapore Noodles and they were outstanding. We normally love Howard Wang's Singapore Noodles and hands down-the spice and the heat and flavor were much better here. Plus, I ordered a small the Seafood Pho and it was fresh and the shrimp and calamari were cooked perfectly. I am not a fish ball fan so next time, I would leave those salty things out. The restaurant is so clean and the bathrooms were spotless! Great job to the staff. We will be regulars at this new great restaurant. I can't wait to try their other menu items. read more

I sat on this for a couple weeks. Extremely disappointed with what we've come to discover after visiting the restaurant for dinner recently. I really wanted to support this new biz and had mentioned to friends and family that Celina should have more diverse Asian food options. So when we stumbled on this place, we were super excited to try and we actually had a really nice dinner and enjoyed our orders. Though a bit pricey (IMHO) of a menu, the large portions of each dish ordered made up for it. We ended up packing away leftovers. It's when we decided to order Take out a few days later, that completely shattered our hopes and good vibes about this place. Orange chicken should NOT include chunks of oranges beside the chicken meat. What's worse is that the orange pieces were not only larger than the chicken meat but it was hidden beneath and used to prop up the only few pieces given (see picture). The size of each order was ridiculously scarce, with limited protein and NOT WORTH the price demanded. I had to cook additional meat (shrimp) to the other dish as well (see picture). I was not expecting to get ripped off and to receive such inconsistency in such a way that was clearly deceiving. I was certainly not expecting to have two vastly different experi3nces within days apart from a new establishment like this. Could it be we got really unlucky that night and the main chef was out? But $16.99 for a few pieces of chicken that tastes nothing like quality orange chicken done right, is UNacceptable. We really wanted to support this place but the experience left a bad impression. I hope these guys do better and represent themselves w more integrity and honesty. Consistency is key especially if you're going to charge on average, $18-20 per dish for such common items that you can order from Panda express. Not cool to fool. Please do better! read more

New addition to the Celina area and excited to have a place to get dumplings and so much more. Had egg roll, egg drop soup, steamed pork dumplings, chicken egg noodles, and sesame chicken. Egg roll is large and was delicious, egg drop soup has corn in it, not bad but wish it didn't, wish I ordered fried dumplings instead of steamed, steamed were fine but we would have preferred a little crunch. It is a wonderful mixture of Vietnamese ,Chinese and Thai food that is as authentic as if we were in their homeland.
