I have been here twice. It's a small restaurant with not a lot of seating, so not good for big groups. And maybe best for takeout/to-go. That being said, whether you eat-in or take out, this is worth the stop! It was busy the entire time I was there with orders. I had the 103 ramen. It was delicious, but I wanted stronger flavor. If you are new to ramen, that might be the right start. A few days later, I wanted more and went back for the spicy ramen. Also delicious! I am going to try every single one! The broth was very watery to me and not as tasteful. The presentation wasn't very good either. This very unassuming restaurant is definitely worth a try. Not from the area and definitely try restaurants based on Yelp reviews so decided to give it a try. We were glad we did. We have gotten takeout from here three times so far. We have tried the Singaporean noodles, teriyaki chicken with steamed rice, yellow curry chicken, shrimp fried rice, stir fried broccoli chicken. All of these dishes were very tasty and felt like they were all on the healthy side and didn't feel guilt like I sometimes do with other restaurants. Portion size was generous and packed well for takeout. However on one occasion ordered the honey shrimp and would probably not order again because for me it had too much breading. The shrimp fried rice was great with a good amount of shrimp. We will keep this restaurant on a weekly rotation while we are in town. read more

Food was honestly just meh. Their dishes lack depth of flavor oftentimes found in Asian cuisines, and the noodles were over cooked. I've been there twice, but will not be returning. However, the service was solid. The food was made in a timely manner and the staff was kind. read more

Odd sign in section, but everything else was great! Service was prompt & friendly. Expected wait time looked to be about 15 mins and my to go order took no more than 10 mins. I wish we had eaten there and had it fresh because at home it tasted good, but I bet it's great fresh. I haven't tried it yet, but their pad Thai looked incredibly fresh. I recently moved to Lebanon not too long ago, and I was in search of some Asian food. I was in Albany and found this place on yelp with a good review. It was amazing! This restaurant is very modern with some new decors, and it's very clean! The servers were nice, and the food was amazing! They had some items that were their signature dishes, but I ordered the Dan Dan noodle that was not one of them. It was delicious! The portion was really big for its price, which was cheap, and the noodle was perfectly cooked that it was soft with great sauces. My mom and brother got the signature ramen and they loved it too. Husband and I stopped on our way down I-5 after reading reviews on Yelp. We both were really in the mood for some Ramen. The restaurant it's self is small but clean. The service was great and the food came out very quickly. I enjoyed the Thai Boba tea but that was all that we liked. I had the Miso Ramen but honestly it lacked Miso Flavor. The presentation was nice and made me want to love it, however the flavor was just not good overall. Even my husband said it was horrible. After three bites I couldn't do it. Husband got the Spicy Cheesy Ramen. His was at least edible but still nothing to get excited about. For as busy as this place got we were very shocked at the bland food overall. read more

This ramen spot is great. I took my boyfriend here for a birthday lunch and the food was amazing. He got the Signature ramen with pork and egg. I ordered the Tom Yum ramen with chicken. The restaurant is take out only due to COVID-19, but they put the meat and toppings in one soup bowl and the liquid portion in another to go container so the vegetables don't wilt before you get home. This Ramen Shop was recommended to me, so we decided to go there and try it out. We ordered appetizers first which were Gyoza (fried), Soft Dumplings (with broth). They we ordered the Ramen. I ordered a "Shoyu" base Ramen with Tempura Shrimp as my protein. When the Ramen arrived, I noticed that the ramen noodles were still clumped up in the bottom of the bowl, the Bamboo shoots were there, but very limited, and the Green Onions were present. The Egg was only halved, and you had to search for it. The broth did not taste like Shoyu at all, and it looked really creamy to me as well! Strange to see that. Over all it was an experience. Would I go back? I would really have to think about that question for a bit. LOL read more

Little place, Big Flavor! I was just passing through Albany and found this place on yelp. Seriously, best Chow Mein I've ever had! We also ordered the Beef Chow Fun (which was also good) and the Wontons with their house Chili Oil (which has an interesting taste to it! It's tangy and spicy and very good!). Original twist on a long-time favorite was delicious. After a long day of driving I went to dinner at8:10pm, but Simply Ramen closes at 8:30pm - so I worried it might not be enough time. They told me to relax and enjoy. I looked over the menu and saw a lot of interesting dishes. But the "Dan Dian Mien" caught my eye, as it's something I've enjoyed many times in rural areas of China. It starts with thin rice noodles, peanut-buttery sauce, minced pork, green onions minced and a little chili oil to give it heat. Simply Ramen made the noodles perfect, the sauce savory, and chopped up a little "tonkatsu-type" pork on top. I give them credit for being creative. I am a huge Toshi's Ramen fan so it is hard not to compare the two. Service was fast and friendly but food was less then great. We got the pot stickers, tempura, spring rolls, orange chicken, mushroom chicken and the Tokyo Ramen. Everything was OK but not great, the tempura was a little greasy and I'm not a fan of fried pot stickers (I like steamed). The ramen was warm but the added in extras (tofu and bamboo shoots) were added cold so by the time the soup was brought to the table it was just a little above warm. On the positive side, the place is clean, comfortable and the staff was really friendly. This place has a lot of great reviews so to be fair, maybe I was just there on an off night. The place was pretty busy so it does have a good following but I most likely wont be back. read more

OK this will be my last visit. I should have quit while I was ahead. Anyone that thinks any of their food is authentic or even made fresh needs to go outside of Albany. Perhaps maybe Salem even , if you don't want to make the drive to Portland. This food is absolutely garbage and a lot of it is just reheated food that they are purchasing. I guarantee they're not making any of their sauces. It is just all bottled crap. Ibendoo ramen in Salem is fantastic and the guy has so much Passion when he is making the broth which takes him 10 hours.
