This is a completely vegetarian restaurant. I came here to get their spinach masala dosa because I love my spinach masala dosa from my favorite South Indian restaurant near home and I REALLY wanted to try someone else's version. We soon found out that their dosas are not gluten free. This was a really big bummer. But...good to know for anyone who is gluten free. They do put wheat flour into their dosas. We changed our order to two vegetables dishes. We ordered Bhindi (okra) fry and Saag Aloo (creamy puréed spinach with potatoes. My husband ordered a chili garlic naan. Both dishes came with a hearty amount of basmati rice. While we waited for our food, I noticed the restaurant was full of Indian people and a sprinkling of other people (including me) which I think is always a good sign when I'm ordering Indian food. True to my observation...Annapurna did not disappoint. The saag aloo was perfectly spiced and flavored and I really enjoyed the meal. The Bhindi was also very good. My only complaint is that the leftovers for the Bhindi were rather sparse! So overall i think they did a good job. I was disappointed about the glutinous dosas -- i called to double check and my favorite dosa place back home does not have gluten in its dosas. So key is always ask and don't assume there's no gluten. Even though i couldn't have the dosa, i still really enjoyed my meal. This is really an Indian (Vegetarian) flavor town USA!!! The food is amazing and it looks like a family own and run business. Service is quick and friendly with parking available. The ambiance is very casual and lots of noise from kitchen (love it!). It's like they get to work on your order as you put in the order. I highly recommend the Sambar Vada (lentil donut drowned in dal(Sambar)). We also tried Andrah Dosa (spicy and real good) AND pavbhaji dosa (highly recommend also!). Annapurna is a neighborhood spot that has consistently good vegetarian Indian food. We were greeted by the staff at the simply decorated spot. We always start with the veggie samosas. They forgot to bring the paneer dish we ordered but once we asked about it, they made sure to get it to us quickly and with a new basket of warm naan. The mango lassi was amazing. I literally was gagging and didn't want to eat there. He charged me full price for something that obviously was unhygienic. Overall, very solid place for Dosa and other South Indian dishes! We came here on a holiday so it was super packed, but we were still seated quickly. The masala chai is delicious and the absolute must get is the chili paneer. It's soft and not fried and coated in schezwan sauce. There are several Indian restaurants in this area, but Annapurna stands out for being all vegetarian and their immense menu of (giant) dosa! Their dosa are the size of a table, and are great for sharing. You can get the regular soft kind that's kind of like a crepe, or you can get the massive paper thin crispy one. I've tried both and they're both excellent but I highly recommend the paper thin one if it's your first time. They come with 3 kinds of dippable sauces including sambar (delicious Indian stew). It was so nice of them to give us more sambar when they saw we were running low -- we didn't even have to ask! Their curries are excellent, and I love how big the portions are for the price. It's one of the best values around. Before they reopened their indoor dining I would get their food to go, and I appreciate how their website offers you 10% on to-go orders. But I do prefer to eat inside because then you can fully enjoy the paper thin dosa as it's meant to be eaten -- hot and fresh and crispy! Food here runs on the spicier side! You can ask for less heat (they are very nice about it and do it) but it will still be spicy. Annapurna's has a special place in my stomach because my partner and I are able to eat here together! They have a small selection of Jain dishes (no onion and no garlic) that accommodate my partner's allium intolerance, and these all taste delicious. Their dal masala is my favorite, and my partner's go-to is their paneer makhani. Our dishes each came with a side of rice, but we also order an extra side of naan. I'm just happy that we can enjoy eating Indian food tagain without worrying about a food reaction. We dined in for out first visit there and received friendly service. I stopped by with a big group of family and friends for early dinner at 6 and it was easy to get parking and table. We ordered mix of entrees - dosas, curries, and chaats. I found samosa chaat quite good and above average. It's a bit spicier but you can tone it down with the yogurt on side. I found cauliflower Manchurian also good, crispy and hot. Will surely recommend these two appetizers. We ordered Plain Dosa, Masala Dosa, and Paper Masala Dosa. I felt dosas were average, and the only difference between paper dosa and masala dosa was the length. I thought paper dosa should have had been crispier and bigger, but here it was just bigger. So would rather recommend radically different dosas to order for groups like paneer dosa, masala dosa so different ones taste different. We also got curries - gobi Matar, Bhindi masala, kadhai paneer, yellow daal. While yellow daal was good, the taste of Bhindi and kadhai paneer seemed the same. It has the same base with different veggies in it. Whereas gobi was a bit on the creamier end. I found the place overall above average though service could surely be better. The staff will stand around looking at the table but won't proactively pickup empty dishes, or place the new plates on the table by themselves, rather just lift it in air and wait for someone to hold and pass them themselves. read more

WORST HYGINE...!!! Last Thursday my wife and myself went there for lunch. Unfortunately, after we had our lunch we noticed the person who was serving and gave us the bill was hving severe cold. Sneezing away and went to the restroom and we heard him taking out snot with loud noice. As obviously, just in 24 hrs after that we both got sick with severe cold. We saw a couple with about 6 months old child who were hving lunch, sitting couple of tables away from where we were sitting. Hope they and the child did not catch the infection It is totally irresponsible and careless behavior by the restaurant to hv allowed such a sick person to serve in the restaurant!! They offer over 20 dosas to choose from and there's also a Mickey Mouse dosa available on the kids menu. We ordered the butter masala dosa with spiced potatoes and it was delicious! It was surprisingly filling too. Their masala chai paired well with the dosa and was a comforting beverage. One thing to know is that it takes longer for them to make your order, including the chai.
