We went to the CC Dennys recently and "Enma" (name on receipt) was our server. She never checked back or refilled our drinks. The restaurant only had 3 customers, I checked. I finally had to get up and look for her, and lo and behold, she was on the opposite side of the restaurant watching the soccer game on TV and chatting it up with the cook! The prices have gone up significantly here and everywhere, but we are giving them business only to have awful service. Go somewhere else, this location has repeatedly been bad for us. I have to admit the last time I was at this location the experience bordered on something out of the Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, and Night Gallery all at once! Rod Serling himself would not have been able to pen a better script! But then again, I didn't have Victoria D as my server either! What a wonderful credit to the Denny's brand. I haven't been to Dennys in about 15 years and had no idea what to expect. When I arrived I ordered a turkey sandwich and fries. And I was surprised that it was absolutely delicious! The bread was multigrain and thick and tasted high quality, the sandwich was beautiful and fresh and tasty (yummy turkey, generous with the fresh avocado). The fries were seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. It was really amazing. However, the price - I believe it was around $20+ for my meal - is absolutely crazy! Also, the wait times to be seated and pay were very long bc it was one person doing both of those jobs while waiting tables. read more

I've been to many Denny's locations throughout California, so I usually know what to expect. Unfortunately, my visit today (03/26/26 at 7:20 AM) was pretty mediocre. The food was about what you'd expect, but the overall experience was brought down by the atmosphere. The staff spent a lot of time gossiping and speaking negatively about customers and other employees, which made the environment feel uncomfortable. The table they sat us at also wasn't the cleanest and felt a bit sticky, and there was quite a bit of trash on the floor, mainly paper straw wrappers, which made the place feel poorly maintained. On top of that, this is the only Denny's I've been to that wouldn't allow any substitutions, which was surprising since most locations are usually flexible. Once we got our food, the server never came back to check on us or offer any refills. They only returned after we had already finished eating, which added to the overall poor service. I also tried to use both my AARP discount and my rewards points (I had $8 available), but neither could be applied, which was disappointing. 24 hour Denny's are a roll of the quality dice. I've been to this place at different hours and days to some drastic changes in hospitality, but the weekend morning rush is your best bet for attentive and full staffing. Maria was my server today and made sure I had any condiment I wished for, and some I didn't, the drinks were refilled timely, and the check was taken care of immediately. 5 star service. Upon sending it back in order to correct the error, it took a little longer than I felt necessary to get my food and by then I wanted to cancel the order. My waitress, Genesis, tells me she can't cancel the order because she doesn't have her manager's number to get into the system to cancel it. I told her someone has to cancel it, honey cause I don't want it and I'm not paying for it. A few minutes later, the order was canceled and I did not have to pay for it. My waitress asked me if I was canceling because the order was wrong, so I asked her how would she feel if it was her order that got messed up and she replied she really wouldn't care. It wouldn't bother her because she understands that restaurants get orders mixed. I said to her that is my point, not caring. I would understand if the diner were very busy, but they were very few patrons in the diner that evening, very few and I for one I'm a little tired of paying good money for very poor service and mixed up orders. I went to Denny's expecting a nice breakfast at an affordable price so I tried the gran slam and omg what a horrible experience with todays cook Carlos. The eggs I ordered for my fiance and myself were so under cooked and runny instead of being sunny side up they were clear egg whites under cooked looking raw and inedible. The lady who took our order was sweet and her service was outstanding but the cook was the worse i ever tasted in my times of visiting dennys ... he made me wanna throw up and never go back ... and you guys ran out of french toast smh what a waste. read more

Browns fans, Raiders fans, Seahawks fans, 49ers fans and even some Jaguars fans all dine on a pre game breakfast without a single Chargers or Rams fan in sight. They were pretty busy and they seemed understaffed so it did take awhile to get my food but Luz checked in on me and made sure I had what I needed, coffee refills, etc. if you are in a hurry, it might be tough to get in and out quickly but I was aok to drink coffee and chill. i got the value grand slam with an upcharge for the pumpkin pecan pancakes. Everything was honestly sooo sooo good!!! I love how they cook their eggs in butter as so many places cook their eggs with oil and it renders them tasteless. I've been coming to this Dennys for many years now. It is a very popular location so the wait on a Saturday at lunch time was a bit long but not unrealistic for that time of day. The customer service was good, our server was very accommodating. The issue that I have is with the menu choice of an entree showing one price and the added $2.00 price for a side that no one tells you about. The picture and description presents as though that is the actual cost of the entree but in actuality, they up the charge for Mac n cheese as a supreme item. Tiny writing in the side section of the menu. $2.00 is not a lot you say? Well, if you are a senior or on a fixed income that is a problem. This is about principle and consumer protection. Now that I am aware of the hidden cost at Dennys (not sure if it is this location only or not) I may or may not return. Word of mouth is everything, with that said I am not saying do not eat at Dennys, I am recommending read the entire menu and let it be your choice to pay the extra cost and not theirs. Where to start? Dennys has increased their prices, but not their food quality. We ordered nacho appetizers - which by the way came with the entire rest of the order. Instead of first.. you know? They're appetizers. A simple two beef patty cheeseburger with flavorless fries was $20. Why $20? The soda is not included. That's gourmet prices without the gourmet quality. And third.. once our food arrived, the waitress didn't show up til we finished our food. Half way through our meal we needed a soda refill. She offered a refill when we were ready to leave and instead we asked for the receipt. I won't be coming back. The quality of the food is still average at best with high prices. And the service is very slow for a restaurant that had less than 5 tables filled. I think the waitress was also serving as cashier. Poor service always goes back to the root of the problem, management. Almost $90 for food quality and service worth half that price. Oh and one last thing.. there was some type of police warning about loitering inside the restaurant on their speakers that play throughout the whole restaurant. It took us completely out of that "relaxing after a long day of work" feeling because at first we thought something was happening and we weren't sure what it was.
