    Apple + Cranberry Strudel
    Ashlyn R.

This place is literally the best place ever no exaggeration! The vibe is really chill and relaxing. You walk in and you're greeted with a very warm welcome. The owner is super nice with great staff! Someone brought out my order to me which was nice. Some strudels run out pretty fast because they're just that good. I would recommend getting there early or stopping by in the afternoon. You will have to find off street parking which isn't a major issue I was able to park in a neighborhood right next door to the establishment. I tried the Apple Cranberry Strudel along with a latte. The Strudels are hand rolled fresh so not a long wait at all. This coffee tastes better than Starbucks and the local favorite Acre in my opinion. I also met two amazing locals while enjoying my strudel and latte. Petaluma is filled with amazing people who very welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to come back and visit.

Yum! I came in today and got the bacon cheddar and a vanilla chai and both were delicious. The service was also very fast and friendly. They're most famous flavor is the vanilla bean and I can tell you from a previous visit that it is soooo good. Today's lunch special was pork and sweet potato but it was too early for me to try that one out. My only complaint was the seating. There is one large community table but it is a high top and the chairs are very high. I am vertically challenged and they don't look comfortable enough to sit and work at which is what I needed. I think they would do better business if they did hanging shelves I stead of the bookcase and added small 2 person tables instead. I shared the feedback but this is just my preference and not a complaint. I really enjoy this local business and forward to going back again soon.

OMS, meaning Oh My Strudel! So good.... As a good friend of mine would say "Slap your mama good!" We had the bacon, cheddar and potato strudel. My only regret is that we only got half. Get the whole thing. Cherish it. How often do you get such a treat?! I actually exclaimed out loud when I tasted its light, flaky awesomeness. It might even bring a tear to your eye. The owner, Jaret was very gracious and friendly. They serve Petaluma Roasters coffee which keeps the Ptown love local and it is a really cozy place. I'm a fan! Can't wait to try the Meyer Lemon, next time.

Best strudel restaurant I've ever been to. Only, if I'm being honest - but it's quite good. The owner is friendly, hand-makes everything with fresh ingredients and obvious passion for the strudels he's making. Simple menu with a nice variety of hot savory and chilled sweet strudels. The Bacon Cheddar Potato streusel was tasty and filling, and the Vanilla Bean Cheese streusel filling was a lot like fresh cannoli. The small dining area is cozy and welcoming. It's reminiscent of a small coffee shop, and indeed they do have a coffee menu too. Come out and support a local business and have some good strudel!

A nice variety of strudel, both savory and sweet, with a flaky pastry. A charming, rustic seating area and friendly service make it a nice place to visit.

The cup was so cool, recycled and used again this morning.

Adorable place. Love the Jimi Hendricks playing and the pretty lady serving up the food. My Meyer Lemon Strudel was out of this world. And my coffee was the best I've ever had. My coffee cup had a hand stamp on the cup! So special. Will be coming again.

My husband and I saw this cute place as we drove by and decided to stop. To be honest I don't really know what strudel is, but it's delicious. I highly recommend. Super savory and warm. We got the bacon cheddar and it was awesome. There is also lovely customer service!!

The craftsmanship here is evident in every loaf and pastry. Their sourdough is a masterclass in texture, boasting that perfect, resilient crust and a complex, airy crumb that captures the essence of classic fermentation. The sweet and savory options are equally impressive, delivered with a warmth that feels authentically local. * **Pastry Excellence:** The ham and cheese croissants are expertly laminated, providing a shatteringly crisp exterior that gives way to a rich, savory center. For those with a sweet tooth, the berry scones are consistently packed with fresh fruit and have a tender, buttery finish. * **Signature Granola:** Beyond the fresh bakes, their granola is a hidden star--perfectly toasted, balanced in sweetness, and ideal for a high-energy morning. * **The Vibe:** Whether you're visiting the Sebastopol Avenue location or catching them at the farmer's market, the service is genuinely personal. The brick-and-mortar space has a cool, industrial-meets-inviting aesthetic that makes it a great destination, even if you're used to grabbing your favorites at Oliver's. Staff greeted me, even if I was the only one there at 8am on a Monday. There were a lot of sweet bakery treats and limited savory ones so I elected to try the quiche which comes with a salad. My Marla chai was warm and comforting, perfect for a chilly Santa Rosa morning. The quiche was soft, moist and flavorful. The salad had chick peas, carrots, butter lettuce, and radish with the perfect seasoning of salt, pepper and a vinaigrette. It was both delicious and refreshing. They have lots of options for food and drinks, but I just came in for some pastries and tea. The service was good and very helpful. I wanted to try the gluten free scone, because I'd heard good things about it. Plus, I had to try the Gateaux Basque, even though gluten is not always good for me. The scone was very good, especially with a cup of tea. I ordered the Love Tea, which is really worth pairing with pastries. It has a lot of warming flavors like cinnamon and cacao. The real star here was the Gateaux Basque. A soft cookie-like dough forms the crust while the center has a vanilla custard and a cherry jam of sorts. It has one of the most pleasing textures and flavors I've had in a cake. It is worth coming here just for this, although I will have to come back and try some of their other foods. I would also note that while the quiche looks really good I couldn't justify paying $15 for a slice of it. I realize it comes with a little side salad, but when I asked if I could get it without the salad they said they couldn't charge me less for it. Oh well. Marla SR is a great addition to this neighborhood! Come check them out!

The space doesn't fit too many people so the line usually extended a little outside the door until space opened up. Service was always really helpful each time which was great with any questions I had. I noticed that things move pretty quickly as well linewise so it wouldn't be too bad either way. So far I've gotten the brioche provencale, regale, coup de cour, brioche cannelle (large pecan). Everything has been good but the cannelle has been my favorite so far. The crust is delectable and the ribbons are just sweet enough for me. I nibbled my way through that thing over a couple of weeks. The fruit adorning the pastries always had a great flavor to them. The coup de cour with blueberries was the most interesting I'd say. I really liked the balance between the fruit and the chocolate in the center. It wasn't too sweet which was great. The one thing I haven't tried are the actual loaves of bread. I grab too many pastries when I've gone, but I'll make sure not to get distracted the next time.

If you value fancy things and mediocre food, this place is not your place. So this place is kind of close to downtown, near the hockey rink, in an old industrial building. It is the very definition of what I would call a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. When I walked in, I was incredibly impressed by the amount of beautiful and delicious-looking food in their case! I quickly studied the menu and decided on the bacon bowl. It had eggs, green chili salsa, home-fried potatoes, seasonal veggies, all served on a bed of lettuce. The flavors were outstanding. Not only was it a good-sized breakfast, but the flavors were just delicious. The veggies were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. The egg and potatoes were nice, and the overall flavor was just wonderful. I liked this place so much that I ended up coming back on day two of my trip just to eat here again with a friend!
