Donuts are okay -- but honestly, it's hard to mess up a donut. Prices are on the higher side, and you're expected to automatically tip. I was the second person there, yet it still took over 10 minutes for them to make a breakfast sandwich. I ended up leaving it behind because the staff just kept telling each other to make it and neither actually did. Waiting 15-20 minutes at a donut shop shouldn't be the norm. Overall, the service and cleanliness could use improvement. We won't be returning. read more

Went there this morning with my girlfriend and I was very happily surprised! I wasn't sure about the place at first since there was a long line but it moved very fast. I ordered a cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and it was delicious, normally cake doughnuts are dry and almost hard to eat without water but this one was wonderfully moist and sweet. They had some drink coolers inside and some savory breakfast options as well. Definitely worth the wait! read more

It's everything you would expect from your neighborhood donut shop! They have all the flavors and styles of donut available but if you like jelly or custard filled you must go early. I visited around 11 am and they were out sold out. They also offered bagels, croissants, and breakfest sandwiches, all delicious. The staff is super friendly! Good for a fast breakfast. Happy Donuts is a pretty standard grab-and-go breakfast place. It smells amazing inside. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, and it was as good as any I've had. The bagel had some fennel in it which is uncommon, but they did a good job of applying the fennel lightly so it didn't overpower the other flavors. Overall, I would say Happy Donuts is a nice choice for a quick, takeout breakfast. read more

This used to be the freshest and best donut around. But the last few times I have gone in, their donuts taste like rancid oil is being used. They need to get back to changing their oil more often. Now, they leave that awful old oil taste after a few bites. I told them when they first opened to make sure they changed their oil regularly. Donuts are one of life's guilty pleasures, and I often crave the sweet treat after a long run. That being said, I stopped in after a 10 mile run along the Windsor backroads to try out the baked goods as The shop had been recommended. I have to say the shop owners were lovely people however the texture and flavors were not on point. I was rather disappointed as I had made and extra stop at the ATM as they only allow you to use your debit card if you spend more than $5; it's not convenient if you're only stopping in for a personal treat. So next time I'm in the shopping center, I'll probably pass and save my calories for an alternative treat. read more
