First, to address the concerns from the Potomac rater who assumes that any positive rating is from a friend or family member, I am neither. I live in the neighborhood and have become a fan of this place. I didn't really get the concept of "Mexican rotisserie" or the name, so for a long time I didn't try it. My husband convinced me to give it a shot and I'm hooked. The food is consistently good, there are plenty of healthy options, the people who work there are always very nice and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. That's a combination for success! I rotate between the salmon meal and the rotisserie ceasar salad. Both are awesome. I don't eat queso, but I've heard it's amazing. read more

We originally pulled into Kentlands for our usual sushi dinner and the smell of the meats cooking from this place made us quickly change our mind! The place is clean, comfortable to sit in, and has about 10 tables; some large, some small. It's not evidently clear where to order as you have to walk towards the back to place your order. It's a cross between a taco joint, a chicken rotisserie place, and a build your own salad, chipotle style (ie choose your base, choose your protein, sauce, etc.). We ordered the Aha Baja tacos, chips and guacamole, and the Steak tacos. My 7yo loves steak but insists on 'deconstructed' style so we asked for the salsa verde and peppers and onions on the side - they happily customized her order, no problems! The tacos were a good size, see pics. Flavor was good for both the fish and the steak. Wish the guacamole was a larger serving for the price you pay, but it was decent, fresh. We'll be back to try other menu items. Great quick night grab, just a little confused about the combined offerings but I do hope it does well in this area! read more

The food at Sin and Grin was a big hit with everyone in our group, including kids and adults. The food was made with care, and it was delicious. We especially loved the beef shorty tacos -- so flavorful and not spicy (but hot sauce was available too). The service was attentive. read more

Went for lunch. I tried the Main Street chicken tacos with a side salad. They were cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and crisp. My friend tried the special--beef fajita tacos. She also thought they were good. She got hers with a side of rice. We also shared chips and queso. The chips were warm and crisp and stood up to the thick savory queso quite well. Very small but cute decor inside also. Owner was taking orders--very friendly and helpful. He's also owner of vasilis so you know it will be good. read more

I had the rotisserie chicken which was so good! The herbs and spices were delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. I also had the roasted potatoes which are like large steak fries, but these were the best I think I've ever had. They were cooked to perfection as far as I'm concerned. I'll be eating there again for sure and next time I can't wait to try the tacos! I also heard a rave review about the blueberry pie from a friend, so that is definitely on my radar as well. read more

I loved my lunch experience here. Great pork and beef tacos. There was a ton of meat that was tender and juicy. I loved the Sweet and tangy pineapple salsa on the pulled pork. The queso was freshly made and tasted great but I like a little more spice in mine (but still good). I can't wait to come back here. My only request would be some fun beers aside from modelo and corona (I would have gotten one if the had something local or more unique than the classic Mexican beer). read more

My family and I had an excellent meal at Sin & Grin. We started with the queso dip, which had a wonderful flavor. I had the fried fish tacos and they were a nice sized portion with great flavor. I also had a fresh salad, which again was a good portion and very tasty. My wife and three children also enjoyed their tacos and chicken rotisserie very much. Great place! read more

First of all, I don't understand the negative review, my guess is that it's fake and a competitor because the review makes no sense AT ALL. There is a VERY noticeable sign that says ORDER HERE at the register, there aren't waiters at this restaurant and it's very self evident. Not sure why you would in-turn decide to write a bad review, seems a little malicious to me. Anyways, this restaurant is AMAZING!!! Fresh quality homemade food made with such quality and care. I've had almost everything on this menu and it is ALL good. We eat here a couple of times a week minimum and the owner's are always there making the food and talking to the customers. They don't make restaurants like this anymore. Truly our first option when we go out to lunch or dinner. Not only is the food so good, portions so generous and the PRICES SO REASONABLE, there are so many options. You can have tacos one day, salad the next day, half chicken the next and a bowl of whatever you want the next. Not to mention their soup specials. Did I mention its ALL Homemade, they make almost everything from scratch. I really don't see how anyone can not love this place. Walked in. There was no sign indicating if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. When I saw that there was a sign by a cash register that said "Order Here" we figured we should seat ourselves. We set our stuff down at a table that had not been cleaned and had Tabasco sauce on it and went to the cash register, but there were no menus anywhere (not at the entrance, not near the tables, not near the register). I walked around the restaurant looking for a menu and employees passed me at least twice without offering assistance. We gathered our things and walked out. 1st thing a restaurant should do is give some indication to their customers what they are supposed to do and make them feel welcomed. We felt like the restaurant was not interested in our business, so they did not get it. You make your customer feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, you won't have customers for long. We went to Thai Tanium instead. They've never failed us. read more

What an amazing experience this truly was. I had just closed the Fischer account at the office (Paul Allen's London vacation allowed me to take over the account). I was starving and had asked Patrick Bateman for advice on a restaurant that would fit the evenings results; he recommended Dorsia's (I doubt he has ever gotten a reservation from there). I called anyways, to my surmise I was not able to receive a reservation. My hunger was that of a ravenous ape; I had to eat before my mood altered even further. My limousine picked me up and my driver took me for a spin until I found the perfect spot. We came across Sin and Grin and it caught my eye. It reminded me of my aforementioned coworker, Patrick Bateman. He sins and he grins. I walked in and my morose aura dissipated into the Kentlands atmosphere. My compulsion was to order the salad bowl to avoid excess carbs; I restrained myself and asked my inner conscious 'what wouldn't Patrick Bateman, the most fit man I know, eat?'. I settled on the burrito and the tacos. I loved it, to the point I felt struck by noetic lightening. Thank you Sin And Grin for re-introducing me to a sacred world of sins and grins. read more
