Signature Grill is quietly one of the best and most underrated restaurants in OKC. The service and food are always top notch. This place is great for special occasions like anniversaries, date nights, etc. Be sure to make a reservation before you go. Their halibut with crab topping is seriously excellent!!! If I were on death row and had to choose a last meal, this dish would be one of the memorable dishes I have had in my life that I would consider being the last thing I'd want to eat before I went to see the good Lord. lol Also, I didn't think l'd like the stuffed chicken (w/ spinach, crab, bacon and mushrooms), but l've had it twice now and it's an excellent dish as well. More of a special occasion restaurant unless you're retired and/or financially comfortable. Very small place so reservations are really more of a must. It is dark with classy decor. The service is what you would expect at a fine dining restaurant (excellent) but not snooty. We started with soup and salad. My wife had the crab bisque which she said was good but has had better here in town. My house salad was plentiful and loaded with freshness. My grilled beef tenderloin was cooked to a delicious rare plus and one of the top five steaks I've had. It had great flavor and very tender with a nice char. The spinach and grilled zucchini were a notch above. I could have eaten the oyster mushrooms as a side all their own. My wife had the fresh fish (Halibut) which was light and flaky. She said her risotto was flavorful, but she would order the wild rice next time. Glad we splurged on dessert. My key lime cheese cake was delicious. My wife's crème brûlée was also very good (or so she told me. I'm not a fan). All in all, it was a memorable anniversary dinner. read more

I really wanted to love this birthday dinner, but it wasn't good. We hadn't been back after a bad experience a few years ago, but chose them to try again for my birthday dinner. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so had to wait by the door. after getting seated at a wobbly table, we ordered drinks. Two of our drinks weren't as ordered, but they fixed that. I had the scallops, which were just ok. The broccoli was mushy with too much cheese sauce & scalloped potatoes basically had no flavor. My husband's pork dish was dry but he ate it anyway as it was expensive. Our friend's pasta was good, she said. When I went to the restroom there were no towels to dry my hands. We felt cramped and it was hot, not the upscale experience we expected. Our server was nice, which helped. We observed the staff greeting all the regulars with hugs & attentive service, which we definitely did not experience. I really wanted to love Signature Grill like I used to years ago, but there's no way my husband is going back there. If You're looking for a wonderful experience for a special dinner, I would recommend going elsewhere. Our second visit to Signatures Grill was another five star dining experience. Outstanding service provided by Shane. The two chefs which are visible through a large glass window look more like artists preparing for a show. The food is beautiful and delicious. Try the wonderful portobello mushroom appetizer, best described as a mushroom bruschetta. The duck with risotto was perfectly cooked and tasty. My wife's roasted chicken was the best she's ever had. Came on a whim on a weekday for dinner. Called to check on availability and she said they had open tables. Small front door unassuming in the middle of a strip mall, when we stepped in it was very small with only about a dozen tables. At the end wall you can see the kitchen through a glass window. The small bar was at the far right corner. Good oldies was playing at the background, some Sinatra and the like. It was loud enough where your neighbors can't hear you in the small space but not so loud where you can't hear your dinner partner. For appetizers we shared the Crab Cake, which was amazing. The crab was in chunks. The Lobster Bisque was very sour, had them take it back. The hostess came back and apologized, saying that they add lemon but it didn't settle yet and that it would be amazing tomorrow. She said she'd remove the item off the check and then left. I was surprised she didn't ask me if I wanted anything else to replace it. I was considering the Calamari. But oh well, we said we'd just get dessert later. Hubs ordered the special, halibut with crab on top. Again, the crab was in chunks and was amazing. I got the Seabass, which was not bad, had better but it was still good. On the sides I got the Green Bean with Sausage, which were amazing. Don't get the Broccoli. Somehow the combination with the cheddar truffle fondue didn't quite mesh for me. Was it worth it for fine dining? I think it depends on what you get. They are mostly fresh and pretty decent though. My friend raved about this place for so long, my husband and I finally went and I'm so glad that we did. The entire experience was 10/10. We went early, right at 5:00 when they opened, but we weren't the only people with the idea to eat early. The restaurant is small, so we wanted to make sure we got in before the crowd! Our waitress, Sarah, was very nice and knew the menu well. Everything we ordered from our appetizers to our main meal was absolutely delicious. Everything was so full of flavor that you are tempted to keep eating, even after you get full. The owner even stopped at our table to greet us and see how we enjoyed our meal. Signature Grill is a zozy & delicious dinner restaurant. Never known to steer us wrong when it comes to good eatin', Mrs. Anitra T. suggested this eatery as one her very own favorites and now we know why. My wife made reservations a week early becuase Signature Grill is truly a dinner spot with limited operating hours, so get in where you fit in. We're early birds, so our reservation was right at opening (5pm) on a Saturday. Don't expect a huge dining area, it's much more intimate with about 13-14 tables total. Still its warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and our meals were absolutely delicious. We started with warm bread rolls that were soft and buttery, the perfect way to begin our meal. For appetizers we shared the fried calamari, which were perfectly crispy and seasoned along with a crab cake, packed with fresh crabmeat and cooked to perfection.  For our entrees, my wife had the stuffed chicken with crab and mushrooms with a side of scalloped potatoes and mushrooms. It was Uber delish! I ordered the seared scallops, which were beautifully presented and cooked to a melt-in-your-mouth doneness. I had roasted finger potatoes and broccoli with a cheese fondue. It was all oh my goodness good! Everything we tried was bursting with flavor. The owner came out to check on all her patrons personally which was the tip of the iceberg as far as customer service goes. Kudos to her. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu at Signature Grill. It's a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and intimate dining experience. read more

Seven years later, Signature Grill still manages to impress me with excellent service, delicious food, and pricing that is, oftentimes, more value-friendly than its competitors. Our favorite entrees are the Stuffed Chicken Breast, Chilean Sea Bass, and Creekstone Ribeye. I'd also recommend the duck confit puff pastry appetizer and crème brûlée dessert. I haven't tried every dish on the menu but it's obvious SG puts a ton of care into every element of their menu so I'm confident any dish you choose will be a good pick. The great thing about Signature Grill is, unlike other fine dining restaurants, they include two sides with the purchase of an entrée (get the mushroom risotto and green beans) so cheapskates like me won't have the weight of their eating-out budget on their shoulders. The only thing weighing you down here will be the extra food in your stomach...and maybe the weight of your own personal disappointment in yourself (don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing better than you think). Aside from their food, SG's service is consistently warm and friendly. The owner and other servers do a great job of getting to know who is stopping by and (I'm sure there's some sort of CRM in place) they have a great memory about specific dietary and taste preferences, as well as remembering the last time you've stopped by.
