We had Sinbad do our floors and tile some years ago. The work was questionable at the time.... Some of the floor boards needed to be changed out because of warping early on. When Sinbad replaced it, the wood used did not match the original. In addition, the grout colors did not match through the whole kitchen. Today, as we started to replace what was installed, we found that the engineered wood flooring they installed was glued down to the subfloor instead of being nailed down. Price wasn't cheap, but I thought it was worth reciprocating the time he spent helping me. HOWEVER, AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE he pushed out my installation date from a Monday to a Thursday, and when I called back Wednesday to confirm they were coming the next day, he tells me past COB sorry they have another job lined up for their installation team, so TOO BAD, I should find someone else to do the installation. Had a bought the hardwood floors from them aka spent more $$ with them, perhaps they would have honored their installation appointment??? DISHONORABLE way to conduct business. We got laminate wood flooring installed last year in our 2 bedroom condo. First they installed the flooring wrong. It began to bubble and was soon raised over 6 inches in some areas. They came out and tore up the work they had done and promised to come back the next day to finish installing the floor correctly. 3 WEEKS later they returned and finished the floor while we were forced to live in a condo with concrete floors. It's been almost one year and the floor is starting to bubble again. I've left reviews before on Yelp, but they always seem to get deleted. How convenient. I have had two good experiences with Sinbad. The first was with the installation of laminate wood flooring over cement in a refurbished garage. It was laid well, and held up well for several years until we had a sprinkler break in the yard. Some of the planks buckled because of the water damage, and so we called Sinbad to come out and redo a section of the floor. They installed flooring that at first I didn't think matched the original, even though they assured me that it would as soon as it had some sun and air. I was convinced it wasn't, and so renegotiated a much lower price for the installation. Within six months, I saw that they were right: the new pieces matched the old ones. I had been mistaken, and yet they had treated me with respect, even though I was wrong. So, about severn years later, when I wanted to redo the whole house with real oak plank flooring, I went back to Has at Sinbad, because I trusted them, and I felt that I owed them some loyalty. It was a huge job, but the work was done perfectly. Whenever someone new comes to our house, the first thing they do is rave about the beautiful floors. My husband and I love them, and are glad to have this trustworthy and expert company to work with now and in the future. read more

Sinbad Flooring did our entire lower level with engineered hardwood floors. I was amazed how professional all of Sinbad's workers were. The guys did an amazing job, they showed up on time everyday, were on their hands and knees scraping all the glue under the vinyl tiles that were a surprise under our laminate floors, they leveled our concrete slabs and only charged us materials for the extra work they had to do. I was impressed with Ryda, how he would come in to check on the guys progress and would get back to us on our concerns. The flooring installers were very professional and under Eddie's management, they had an excellent team! The only thing I wasn't very happy about was that my floors has these small splintering due to the fact that I ordered the handscraped distress finish, wished I was more educated about the type of wood that I purchased but mainly my fault for not doing my research and trying to go for that distress style. However, Sinbad informed me I can call anytime a problem would arise and they would do their best to address any issues which was such a relief. But after two weeks, So far so good, my floors look magnificent! I will highly recommend them to anyone! I especially like that they finished the project on timely manner and made sure to clean up after! They did not leave us any mess and they were even easy to talk to about where to move our furnitures and some minor concerns. High Yelp ratings got me to try Sinbad. They must have new staff, the workmanship is horrible. They cut ply wood inside my house clear through to the structural sheeting. I was left with a uneven floor and and 1/16" layer of dust. I should have quit there, but to finish my kitchen I needed them to meet schedule. I wish I had waited for another contractor.The plywood sub-floor was of such poor quality that I paid to have it replaced with a better quality. This solved some of the problems, I am still looking at the plywood seams from a slip shod second installation. Ryda is a great guy-bottom line he doesn't do the work. read more

My realtor recommended Sinbad but I still checked out other options. The personal service that I've received was fantastic. Sinbad immediately steered to the correct laminate and I was allowed to borrow several samples (that were far superior to other products that I had seen) to bring to my home for comparison. The installers were very conscientious and asked lots of questions about how I wanted to handle cables in the floor area and transition areas from tile to laminate.
