Cameron came out the very next date to measure and Jose helped move samples to car from sales floor. We worked with Eyedeal Interiors to carpet the our stairs and upstairs halls and bedrooms. The installation went smoothly and the carpet looked good. After aa few months we started noticing faded spots. Since we don't wear shoes in our upstairs, we were at a loss to understand the almost bleached looking areas (we keep no bleach in our home). Over a short period of time the carpet has faded on the edge of all the stairs and in many areas. The cause of these bleached spots is inexplicable. We called out Eyedeal to inspect, and they blamed our cat, which certainly couldn't have caused this general fading. Also, the carpet in one of the bedrooms lifted and wrinkled. We don't believe Eyedeal stood behind their product nor their installation. We will not return, nor would we recommend Eyedeal to anyone. read more

Had used them for years and will never again. Had new carpet installed less than five years ago. Went back to them within 2 years and told them that there are bumps throughout every room and hallway and even the stairs. The carpet clearly was not installed properly and their only recourse is to refer me to one of their own employees who came out and looked at it and he was like this is bad. then i was offered an additional fee to have someone come out and restretch the carpet. Do not shop at this store! Heard mix reviews but when I called them they claimed that could be very competitive. Came in my with my measurements and they gave me a reasonable estimate but when they came to my house to measure, they almost doubled the estimate! Spoke to owner who was very rude and told me to go me to shop somewhere else. He said they do "big jobs like banks" so I guess they aren't equip for residential clients. Avoid the bait and switch and go somewhere else. read more

Todd and Jim were right minimal damage to my baseboards and beading which had just gotten re-painted. Plus very little dust! Worked finished on time and as promised! I called Eyedeal from a recommendation on NextDoor. A nice guy named Bob, came out, measured my one room, & saw the existing bamboo flooring I had throughout the house. He said give him a day or two to locate that color of vertical bamboo. I was so happy because I was finally going to get this room done. Three days went by, & nothing. I texted a message to Bob, to see what's up. No response, so I called & got to speak to him. He said it was taking longer to find the wood, but to give him a couple of more days. O.K., I waited a week, & nothing, not even a phone call to say he could not find the bamboo. Never-ever heard one peep back. Wasted my time, & not a all professional. I've used this company twice now. The first time they beat the big box store prices and did a great job. The job was for carpeting. It was done exactly as promised, no mess afterwards and the employees who completed the work did a great job matching up some difficult carpet pieces, ie; carpet had small square design. The second job is for a newly purchased home, great quote on the price along with some great service. Mike came out for the measurement and during our conversation he discovered I needed some other type of work done. He recommended someone who was able to save me literally thousands of dollars. I just finished having new wood floors installed in two rooms that had previously had Berber carpet when I bought the house. The goal was to try to match the existing wood floors as closely as possible and not totally tear up my house in the process. I did my homework and had 4 different local wood floor companies come out and bid the job. None were able to provide samples or much guidance on which wood to go with that even came close to matching until I found Eyedeal. I walked in off the street to their showroom and was immediately greeted and introduced to Scott. I explained to him what I was trying to accomplish and he offered to come out the next day and bring samples. We were able to find wood manufactured by the same company as my original and Scott was able to not only match but beat the 4 other bids. The installers showed up on time at 7:30 am until the job was finished at 7:00 pm that evening. They were fantastic guys who paid amazing attention to detail and worked their butts off. They helped move the furniture and cleaned up the job spotlessly. Most importantly the floors look amazing. Scott even came out during the installation to check on everything. Our experience with Cameron was less than sub-par. The only reason for the 3 stars is due to the installers who did a great job installing the carpets. Initially, Cameron came by the house to take measurements. When I asked her about how many yards I would need for a rough estimate, she went to calculate it but was unable to figure out the yardage. That should have been a red flag as calculating this should be in her line of work. However, I was referred to this company and so felt I would give them the benefit of the doubt. We booked the date for install and we have a fairly large bed that is a pain to take apart. For this reason, I specifically asked Cameron on multiple occasions if Eyedeal would take care of the furniture. She said yes and all we needed to do was move out the smaller items and the large pieces would be taken care of by the installers. Come the day of, the installers take a look at our bed and say that we will need to be responsible for taking it apart. The installer then calls Cameron, who makes up something about there being electric attached to it. It was literally a plug for a night light that came with the bed! Which did not make sense because they were able to move the TV and lamp which also has electrical. My main issue was when I called Cameron about this and she took no accountability. She said she would have had no way to know but that is beside the point. If that is a policy of the company then they should inform the customers prior to install with any disclaimers. All she suggested was having one of the owners call me who apparently is her dad. Of course he sided with Cameron saying that he wouldn't have know to look as well which seemed very unprofessional. I understand if you work with family but business is business, lets keep it professional. read more

I have used Eyedeal for carpet, laminate, hardwood and vinyl since we purchased our first home in 1986. We just used them again for my MIL's house which we are going to rent out, and they gave us an unbelievable price. If you want to do something that's super high end, they may not have what you're looking for, but I would say that for low to medium-high end, this is a great place to shop. I went into the store on a Saturday, met with Mike, picked out a sample to take home, and then on Monday Mike popped by to measure the room and pick up the sample, which took about 5 minutes. He provided a quote later that afternoon and a couple baseboard choices, I called up the following day to provide credit card for payment, and installation was scheduled for the following Monday, which took about 3 hours. They did a fabulous job, very professional and courteous, and cleaned up satisfactorily afterward. I love my new flooring and will definitely use Eyedeal for all future jobs! read more

I had a floor with moisture damage. Apparently, they knew it wouldn't work to do a partial repair but did it anyway and there went $1800. Now they say it's unfixable. Waiting to see if I get a refund since they never should have accepted the work to begin with. Use another company. read more

My wife and I worked with Mike at Eyedeal interiors in renovating our home (a foreclosure that was in bad shape). We shopped around extensively and found Eyedeal to be price competitive and offered fantastic service. Mike made multiple trips to our house and walked my wife and I through every step of the process. We selected Eyedeal to replace our kitchen vinyl and replace some old carpet with new oak plank to match the wood flooring in the rest of our house. They did a great job on the vinyl but were disappointed with the work they did on the oak. The vinyl was installed with only a minor problem that was expected. After installing the wood, we set a date for the staining and urethane. They said one day to do the sanding, staining and urethane, and the next day they would return to move the furniture back in. Thursday August 31, I waited for an hour and a half and no one showed up. I called the shop and they told me that they had rescheduled their employees, someone was supposed to call me the day before and let me know (they did not). They did come later that day to hang plastic sheeting but did no other work. The next day, Friday September 1st, they showed up as planned. I asked what the schedule was, was told it would take until after 5 pm to do all the sanding, staining, and urethane layers, they would come back on Saturday to move the furniture back in. I questioned that they were coming back during a three day weekend but they confirmed that was the schedule. I came home for lunch at 1 pm, no one was there and my house was unlocked, I had been told that my house would not be left unattended (neighbors have been burglarized). At 4 pm, my wife called and said they were completely done and wanted to be paid. They had even repaired a spot she did not like. They told her everything was dry and that it was OK to walk on and moved all the furniture back in even though my wife questioned whether or not it was too early. When I got home at 5:30 pm, I found a site that was scratched/smeared and an area of uneven urethane. Since the flooring guy had told my wife he had family plans and wasn't planning on coming back Saturday, it was clear that he had rushed through the job so he could get off early for the three day weekend. During the weekend, I inspected the floor in full sunlight and found a boot print in a puddle of urethane from when they moved the furniture in. On Tuesday I called the shop and let them know I wasn't satisfied with the work. It took an additional week to get someone to my house to repair the urethane (12 days total since their last visit). I showed them the boot print and the scratch and another location that was not done right. He said there was no way he or his co-worker caused the scratch (even though they moved the furniture back in from outside wearing their work boots after only a few hours of drying). He said all he was going to do was scrape and recoat the three sites. The sales rep didn't want to hear my concerns about the patch job, and dismissed everything I had to say. He accused me of rescheduling his workers and changing dates they were assigned to be at my house - not true, I was there every agreed upon date and time. He made it clear that he'd made up his mind and wasn't going to listen to anything I had to say. I talked to the manager and repeated my concerns about unnecessary wear on the floor before it was dry and also that the patched areas may age differently than the rest of the floor. I stated that I would not be happy until they applied one additional top coat so that everything was uniform, and the manager said that he would leave it up to the sales rep. The sales rep had the nerve to ask "who is going to pay for it?" when it was obvious the flooring guys rushed the job and had it done several hours earlier than originally budgeted. After they finished the patch work and left, I called three different So Cal distributers of the urethane (Finish Line Coating Vivid OMW), and all three told me the same thing - no heavy traffic and no moving the furniture back in for one day/24 hours, in full contradiction to what Eyedeal was telling me. The job went from "last coat of urethane will be applied at 5 pm and the furniture moved the next day" to "the job is done at 3:30 pm and the floor is dry enough to move the furniture back in." Product instructions for the urethane say to wait 2 - 3 hours between coatings. Sorry, but things just don't add up. In summary, they rushed the job, moved furniture so they wouldn't have to come back the next day, left a puddle and stepped in it, then treated me like I was a jerk when I asked them to come back make it right. read more

Found Mike with Eyedeal through my property management team and my realtor. He is quick and efficient and extremely honest and straightforward while also being reasonably priced. He did an impeccable and reasonable job for a new sale home. I only wish I had used him for the wood in my current home. He came by to see it and advised me to return it before install because it was bad quality wood etc. I didn't listen and hired another local contractor to install it. My floor is now trash and I have Mike coming to fix the work of the other very dishonest contractor. I won't trust anyone else from here on out. read more

I have used Eyedeal based on a referral. The first time I had new flooring throughout my home which included carpet and hardwood. It was seamless. The second time I required some repairs to be completed prior to placing new hardwood floors down. The cost was twice the amount if I would have contracted out independently. Additionally, the installer was incompetent; twice I have had to have them come back to correct the errors of their ways. You would think a professional company would be able to place hardwoods in the kitchen - they would level the dishwasher unit so one could open and close the door. Not the case. I was unable to open the door. More so, when they moved my refrigerator, they left the bottom freezer door open (this was not noticed until the next day burning all the food in the freezer). To top it off, they nailed my pocket door open when they placed baseboards on. I feel very disappointed with their services, timeline and the inability to meet my schedule. Eyedeal came through for us in a family crisis. My mother was in a nursing home and desperately wanted to come home for Hospice care...in the living room; looking out at the ocean. In order to accommodate and move the hospital bed and equipment about, the carpet throughout most of the condo needed to be removed and replaced with waterproof engineered wood flooring. Todd came over with samples the same day I called. He rearranged some other projects to start ours the following day. Our flooring crew of three brothers; Juan, Jesus, and Jose; could not have been nicer or more professional. They did excellent work, and each day they left the place SO clean. They proved very trustworthy, which was important, as we needed to leave for hours each day to spend time at the nursing home.
