I understand places get busy, especially on holidays, but a simple greeting would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left at the front desk waiting for someone to help me while there were about 3 women behind the desk. Then when someone finally acknowledged me, there was no warmth or customer service. What really bothered me was feeling nickel-and-dimed over my fill service. I already came in with oval-shaped nails, yet I was told I'd be charged an extra fee to "reshape" them. In my opinion, basic shaping during a fill should already be included in the service price, especially when maintaining the same shape. Customer service and transparency matter just as much as the nails themselves. Sadly, this visit did not feel welcoming or worth the experience I expected.

This was a Friday around 6:30pm. I got the Express regular predicure and a gel manicure. Overall service was fast and I was satisfied. I appreciated the extra steps the nail tech took to match the color I picked. Initially it looked totally different from the nail sample when she opened the bottle so she double checked with me and found a better color. It's those little details that will make me return and they were very sweet with my 8yo. Pricing is comparable to other nail places and they do everything. I'll be back here for the quick service, and extended hours.

I brought my own gel polish because I'm pregnant and wanted to avoid an ingredient called TPO. I explained this clearly. The nail tech told me the top coat I brought wasn't the right one and said she had a TPO-free top coat. She even said she looked it up and confirmed the Beatles Shiny Top Coat didn't contain TPO, so I trusted her. A few days later, I found out that product does contain TPO and even has a warning for pregnant women. That was extremely concerning. When I called the salon to have the gel removed and asked for a refund (since the product was misrepresented), they still wanted to charge me for regular polish and wouldn't refund the gel manicure. The manager, Tina, said she would call me back but instead sent a text saying offices were closed and offering only to remove the polish. I tried calling to speak with her, was told she was too busy, and was put on hold for over 30 minutes. The call was eventually disconnected. I waited 10 minutes, then called back and it went straight to voicemail. After that, I called again from a different number -- someone answered, seemed to realize who was calling, and then immediately put me on hold again. When I called back, the receptionist said she didn't realize the call had been disconnected, I simply asked for a refund, since I had been going back and forth with the salon for almost two hours. Again, the line got disconnected after 20 minutes and no one ever followed up with me. I tried to call back and again it went to voicemail. Now, anytime I call, whether from my number or the other number, it goes to voicemail. This could have been handled so much better, especially since it involved a pregnancy-related concern. Instead, I felt dismissed and ignored. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters -- and this was handled very poorly. Very disappointing experience and worst customer service I've encountered at a nail salon. As a manager, Tina showed little concern for client safety or satisfaction.

I called ahead to this place to see if they could give me a gel manicure. They said come on in and I was so excited. I haven't had my nails done in years and wanted to treat myself as I have a trip next week. I came in with beautiful, healthy long natural nails and left with one hand untouched and the other ..well they chopped my natural nails to the bone. When she started she asked me the shape I would like and if I wanted them cut or just filed. I asked her to trim them a little, square with rounded edges and said because I have a baby I don't want them to be sharp. She cut them ALL THE WAY DOWN, and rounded them all. When she showed me I said oh no I asked for square...so she started filing again, threw my hand at me and said "how's this" I don't even know what shape to call what she did. None of them even match. Also they were so short there was nothing that could be fixed. So then she tossed the file at me and said "ok you do it" I replied why would I pay to file my own nails, and there's nothing left to file. My anxiety was now high because I didn't want to be difficult but why would she speak to me that way and do that?? Another lady came over and said she could fix them by putting tips on or gel x. I said I don't want tips, and I wanted my natural nails. She again said she would fix it, and agreed it was the techs fault. She also mentioned three or more times the tech didn't understand me...ok, but then why the attitude when I clarified, and why wouldn't she ask for assistance if she didn't understand what I was asking for. I questioned her "how are you going to fix this..it's not like you can regrow my nails and I'm not paying for tips or gel x. I will say she agreed to do tips or gel x at the cost of a manicure when I told her I wouldn't pay, but that's not the point. To avoid any further confrontation and because I was actually shaking from being embarrassed I left. Now I will have to go to another place and have tips if I want my nails done for my trip otherwise it's bare hands in LA for me. Also it's worth mentioning that I was also going to get a pedicure also but only wanted regular polish, the original tech attempting to do my hands tried to upsell me on gel for my toes...I had to decline three times. If a customer says no thank you, it's a no thank you. I left with bare feet, mismatched chopped up hands, and tears in my eyes because I should have just done my nails at home. Please do better.

They said the gel color and regular polish color sometimes doesn't match.. which seems like a problem they need to fix overall. Anyways, that was displeasing but I still kept the color cuz my toe was already burning from the cut and didn't want her to remove the polish and irritate my cut some more. When it got to my mani service, the same lady did my nails. She kept the same gloves on after she did my feet.. which was not okay but I didn't say anything cuz she should've known not to even do that to begin with.. I got Gel X for my mani and she put too much glue under my nails that it looks too lifted and it even got on my skin.. Overall, they only get 3 stars. My first visit would've been a 5 star and my recent visit is a 1 star.
