I came in as a walk in on an early Sunday afternoon. David is so insanely sweet, and as are the rest of the staff. Everyone talks with one another, and they work together as a team. They make sure you are comfortable as soon as you get there, and offer you water. Their color selection is the largest I've ever seen, from regular polish, to gel, to dip powder. David did my acrylics- and I have to just say- his attention to detail, warm demeanor, and the fact that he remembered and used my name- I'm now hooked on Nail 21. First time here and I loved it! I decided to try this nail salon since it's right next to my usual hair salon that I visit every other month. Also, I'm 5 months pregnant and can no longer do my own pedicure so I needed to find a good and affordable place to get my nails done. I made an appointment for a Friday afternoon for a regular pedicure and a dip powder manicure. I actually came 30min early and I was fine waiting until my appointment but they were very accommodating and took me early! The staff are so friendly - the owner James is very welcoming and he calls you by your name (which I love)! They have a very wide selection of regular polishes, gel polishes, and dip powers. The salon was very clean and organized as well. Overall I paid $75, $45 for the dip powder mani (no tips added to my nails) and $35 for the regular pedi. I loved my first experience here so I am definitely returning my next mani/pedi!! read more

First time customer! Came in with an appointment on a Friday. I did have to wait a little since there were only 3 people working and they were busy but I didn't mind since I had time. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! They were very accommodating especially since I changed my gel manicure to a gel full set last minute during a busy time. Kim actually took her time (compared to other salons I've been to) and did a really good job with my pedicure! James did my nails and I wasn't disappointed! There are lots of polish selections and I have not yet seen half dried bottles as in other salons. I went in to get a fill on my nails and the guy that did my nails was nice but he was so rough doing my nails. he cut 5 of my finger's right by the cuticle with the nail tool. Getting your nails done should be relaxing thing and I was so tense from the pain. My fingers were so sore the next day. I definitely do not recommend anyone going back there. I've been going to Nail 21 for almost a year. Prior to finding Nail 21, I had visited the other nail shops in my area. I even visited LA nails on Eastern and St Rose. It was extremely busy and noisy and not at all relaxing. James @ Nail 21 is exceptional at his craft. When he preps my nails for the gel, my nails look so good, I almost don't want to put a color on. I have a housecleaning business so my nails take a beating everyday even with gloves on. There are days that I don't book on time with James and have to go to another salon. So with that being said, I have other salons to compare his work to and I can honestly tell you that James is one of thee best manicurists in Las Vegas. I highly recommend Nail 21. read more

The salon itself is really nice and clean, the service I received was terrific :) only problem was that they charge $50 for a gel pedicure my fault for not asking, but I'm just not used to paying that much. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 is because they do up charge for little things. My old technician never gave me a price difference for "glitter" or the shape so that was kind of annoying and $60 for everything seemed a little steep and more than I'm used to paying for. I moved to Utah for 6 months and my previous nail shop was shut down...I have no idea what happened to it so I was getting anxiety finding a new nail shop once I moved back lol but thanks to Yelp I have discovered my new go-to! I called ahead and set an appointment yesterday at 5 p.m. with James. The location for me was a bit hard to find since it is behind a few larger buildings. I will attach a photo of what it looks like from the outside. The shop is very chic and modern, clean, and spacious. There are 2 TVs on both sides of the wall so no matter where you sit you can pass time by watching what they are showing on Netflix. This is a big plus for me because I dread going to the nail shop simply for how boring it can be. When I arrived, I was greeted right away by friendly staff. There is a vast array of different polishes to choose from, also they offer cat eyes, holographic pre sets, and the organic powder. They literally seem to have it all. I hope you're good at decisions because I certainly am not lol. I didn't end up deciding on a colour until it was time to paint. So anyway while James started working on my nails, I asked him a billion questions about the pricing, the services they offer, and what each product is, does, and how it differentiates from typical polish. He was very knowledgeable and answered every last question I had without stuttering meaning he knows what he is doing and doesn't even need to stop and think about how to answer you. I always encourage questions for people finding a new salon because you need to know what you're paying for. I had an acrylic fill-in (prices starting at $17--most places charge $25+) and a polish change on my toes ($10 flat). My fill was actually $22 because I do coffin shape and my nails are long. The cut down is free with fill, which most shops charge for. James is an absolute perfectionist! Now depending on who you are this can be a good or a bad thing. For me personally this was good because I am VERY picky about my nails and he made sure time and time again the shape was right, buffing, checking for lumps in the acrylic etc. My nails are super smooth! Usually fill ins have taken 45 minutes, but with him it took about an hour and a half so just make sure you have time allotted if you want him doing your nails. I left very satisfied with my choice of going here vs all the other shops in Vegas. P.S. I have read negative reviews regarding Tina but she has since been let go so do not let that deter you from getting pampered here! It is well worth it. read more

I came here based on the reviews, service was great. The people were nice, very friendly. I was a walk in for a fill, my nails are almond shape. When I called on the phone they said the price was $17 but when I got there it changed to $22 because I didn't want the basic square shape. Two stars because the lady I got had no idea what she was doing. The acrylic isn't spread evenly across all nails. She did different nails randomly instead of a consistent flow. She cut them down shorter then I wanted and none of them are straight, they all have some form of a curve to them. The way she filed them was a joke, she put no pressure on them to give them shape. I told her multiple time they were crooked but she made them even worse when she went to re file them. They don't put on any cuticle oil when you go to wash your hands, and she didn't trim my cuticles either. Don't go to lady if you need fills done, based on the reviews it seems like the guys are the better option. However when I get back to home, I'm gonna have to have my nail lady fix this ladies mistake. Wish this place lived up to their reviews.. wont be coming back here when I visit again !! read more

Everyone is very nice there. They do the powder dip polish which I love. I've been 3 times, 2 times it took an hour and a half & the 3rd time it took 2 hours! This is not waiting time & time to get nails done. Those were the times I sat in the chair to get my nails done. With the powder dip polish the fist 2 times it lasted between 3-4 weeks for me before my nails got to long & I need them redone but I could've gone longer. This time though within a couple weeks at the base & tips started to get discolored & one even lifted then fell off.
