    Bowl with egg white frittata

Best things: awesome staff, good food and beautiful interior. Wish there was much less of a presence of the laptop army. So many, it's wild. Almost every table inside and the entire bar, such weird times. Oh well, we sat on the pretty outside patio and enjoyed ourselves. The food was good. Enjoyed Le Bowl with frittata. Loved chatting with the charming staff. It's a beautiful restaurant.

My first time at this location. I've always loved Zinqué for a quick lunch or dinner but hadn't been to the Venice one yet and it's honestly so good. The staff make it feel like home the second you walk in, like they're addressing you by name immediately. Special shoutout to Steven for the baklava latte and horjita latte... so delicious, not too sweet, just really flavorful. And Nick was so quick with my to-go order which I appreciated. I ordered my usual wagyu burger with the thin crispy fries and their aioli and it was as good as always. They also have a huge market section with a bunch of international goodies and sweets which I love browsing. The ambiance is kind of perfect. There's greenery everywhere and it feels like an intimate but still spacious bar/lounge even in the middle of the day definitely coming back soon

A really cool spot, with amazing ambiance, gorgeous modern design, awesome patio seating with an oversized contemporary fireplace and the food is pretty amazing. I've tried their burrata square pizza as well as the zucchini square pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. They were served heated up and were crunchy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. You could tell that both the burrata and the zucchini ingredients were very fresh and very tasty. As amazing as this place is, the service could use some improvement. At least a few times, including today, young ladies taking my order at the register, acted like they were doing me a favor, taking my order with a cold look. Other than this, I really enjoyed Zinque today and it was great to reconnect with an old friend.

Cute place for brunch with the ladies with ok food and abrupt service. Compared to other brunch spots in the area, there's a great private parking lot in the back. Nice that there's plenty of free parking. The restaurant is pretty with lots of nice natural lighting. There's options for indoor and outdoor seating. We came on a Saturday at 11am and there was plenty of tables available. The 3 of us all ordered different lattes. We were surprised to see that 2 of the lattes came out hot and one was iced. That was interesting because we realize we were not asked if we wanted them hot or cold and the menu didn't specify. However, we each enjoyed the lattes we got. I had the mussels and fries dish. The muscles didn't have much flavor... just a sauce that's creamy. I would not recommend the muscles dish. The fries were cooked to perfection though. My friends enjoyed the crispy sunny eggs and the wagyu burger with fries. While we were chatting, the server came with the point of sale terminal machine and asked us to pay. It was quite abrupt because we had not asked for the bill and we were not show the itemized bill but just verbally told the total. While we paid by credit card, the server hovered and looked very closely to see what tip we'd select. When I went to the restroom, there was another staff member tailgating me because he wanted to use the restroom too. And as we walked out, a different server was also in a rush and accidentally brushed up against my while he walked by. The experience I had with multiple staff members wasn't friendly.

Zinque is right next door to the theatre and the best place to come in for a drink and dinner prior to a show. We ordered the side of fries, side salad, and roasted chicken. Oh my. Tender chicken, salad dressed perfectly, not downing. Their cocktails are refreshing. 4 cocktails, side of fries + roasted chicken was split between two people + a new friend at the bar with tons of leftovers. The portion is generous, and shareable. Service was quick, establishment was clean, and the experience was memorable.

The food was delicious. I'll give them that. But I left my lunch today feeling very unsatisfied both with the service and the experience. First, for lunch you have to order through an app and they deliver food to your table. The bus boy brought out an incorrect order and walked away so fast we didn't even get the chance to tell him it was wrong. I had to walk up to the front counter to see if they could help us correct it which normally wouldn't bother me except in this case when you use the app the automatic default is set to include a 23% tip. Seriously... it feels quite high considering a lack of service. Second, and my biggest issue was that what I ordered is not what I received. Clearly as you'll see by the photograph there appears to be 3-4 donuts for $13. We only received two. Naturally I inquired because there were three of us at the table and we all thought we would each get one. The manager came over and told me that they used to have three donuts and now they only have two per order. I thought that was strange so I asked him why they didn't update the photograph to reflect what people are actually going to receive. He said "because we want it to look good in the picture." False advertising on purpose... He then asked me if I wanted to purchase a second order of donuts to cover everyone at the table. You've got to be kidding me!

Zinqué is one of the most reliable and well-balanced spots in Santa Monica for a casual but elevated café and wine bar experience. The atmosphere is what immediately stands out. It has a relaxed, European feel with a clean, open layout that works just as well for a morning coffee as it does for an evening glass of wine. It is comfortable, social, and easy to spend a few hours in without feeling rushed. The food is consistently good and well executed. The menu leans toward simple, French-inspired dishes done right rather than anything overly complex. Everything feels fresh, well portioned, and thoughtfully prepared. It is the kind of place where you can order a few items to share and know they will all be solid. The drink selection is another strong point. The wine list is approachable but well curated, and the coffee program holds up for daytime visits. It transitions seamlessly from café to wine bar, which is part of what makes it so versatile. Service is efficient and low-pressure, which fits the overall concept perfectly. Overall, Zinqué is not about being flashy. It is about consistency, atmosphere, and quality across the board. A great go-to spot whether you are meeting friends, working during the day, or having a relaxed dinner.

Ordered the sea bass fillet, quiche, sweet potato, salad and other dishes. Also a lovely cappuccino. Service is great and ambiance is relaxed.

Great coworking spot in Venice. It's the perfect place to bring your laptop and even your dog while you get some work done. The food is easy to order and comes out quickly, which makes it convenient if you're working for a few hours. I especially enjoyed the fries and the smoothies--both were delicious. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

As always, everything was great, food was delicious and we truly enjoyed our visit. However, this time we experienced a longer wait--about 15-25 minutes--before anyone approached us to take our order. While it's nice to see a friendly and relaxed atmosphere among the staff, it did feel like guests were being overlooked during that time. Overall, we're still satisfied and appreciate the experience, but we hope service attentiveness can be improved moving forward.

Whites dry friend chicken sandwich? You WON'T get it here! I have had many fried chicken sandwiches in my life, but hands down, Zinqué has the best I have had. The chicken wasn't moist, and crispy at the same time. It's inside towards the back of a Cote in Venice. Beautiful French bakery, deli. The restaurant is very cozy and huge and nice patio space. The waiter, Steven was very nice and gave great recommendations. I even met the owner, Mark. He was kind into hear me out about an idea I have. Definitely going back.!

I was instantly so glad we chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary because it was the perfect setting for a romantic date night. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, with the exception of the Korean aguachiles, which we probably could've skipped. We also tried the bluefin bibimbap, oysters, and the oh-so-tender short rib that practically melted in our mouths. But the most unforgettable dish was also the simplest: the Korean fried chicken. It wasn't necessarily something out of the ordinary, but it sure tasted like it. The perfect crisp, flavor, and seasoning had us eating every last piece right down to the bone. Our server also made the experience even better. She gave us some of the best recommendations and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. We absolutely loved this restaurant and are already planning our next visit!

The Mulberry is a Korean spot, but no tabletop grills. Across the street is another Korean place. Mulberry serves dinner Wed-Sun. The menu is kind of "greatest Korean hits", including a few charcoal grilled items. The drink menu is pretty extensive. It's a smallish space with both indoor and outdoor seating and a darkish, festive atmosphere. Here's what we ordered: 1) Korean aguachile--flounder in a cold kimchi broth that was partially granita-like. Refreshing. 2) Fried chicken wings. Pretty classic. Supposedly half plain and half soy-garlic, but they were pretty similar. A nice sweet chili sauce on the side, along with some pickled daikon and other veggies. I like a sweet glaze directly on my wings, but these had a good crunch. 3) Chilled acorn noodle. With greens, toasted nori and a jammy egg. Cooling, but the greens were a bit harsh for me. 4) Savory egg souffle. Nice but nothing out of the ordinary. 5) Spicy braised black cod. I was worried it would be too spicy but actually was very mild, possibly tomato-based sauce with nicely braised daikon and a side of slightly pickled napa cabbage. 6) Grilled beef short rib. Delish! More like a hangar steak than short rib. Came with a dipping sauce, coarse salt, lemon and a little salad with a pungent dressing. 7) Hotteok a la mode. A caramelized cinnamon "crepe" with toasted seeds and vanilla ice cream. Delish. They also had a strawberry bingsu (Korean dairy-based shaved ice) that sounded good, a collaboration with Korean Ice Co. down the street. Note Mulberry claims it's a no tipping establishment, but adds a 20% "fee" to your bill. Overall a nice meal, on the pricey side. I do think I prefer Japanese food more, but Mulberry is a good introduction to Korean.
