Great spot and really friendly staff. It's ear they're popular as thru have repeat customers who they remember. We only stopped by to get some breakfast sandwiches to go. I got a spam, egg and cheese sandwich on wheat with butter and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend!

    California Omelette with hashbrowns

Definitely a local spot! Everyone eating there knew each other. Tiny inside, just a couple tables. Friendly service and a very clean restaurant. The price is right. $10 average for an omelette with potatoes & toast. I ordered the California Omelette with hash browns and rye toast. It was a very good omelette. Eggs were light and it felt healthy. I've never had avocado in an omelette before and it was delicious warm. Served with American cheese. Hashbrowns were a little crispy, the home fries were light and very yummy. Would definitely go back here if we are passing through town again!

French toast breakfast w/ 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon, and home fries. $10.99

The vibe is really good here, and it made for a dreamy early Saturday morning. All three booths were full when we arrived but one of them was getting ready to head out, so we were seated very quickly. There was space at the counter and a couple of two person tables available as well. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was fast and friendly. I'll have to come back here and try out the lunch.

    Sausage omelet with home fries

I started coming here after I started a new job, and a coworker recommended this place. I've tried their sandwiches, omelets, and egg platters. All are such a bang for your buck. The staff have always been friendly towards me. I'm a new customer, but I have quickly become a regular. I recommend trying this place if you haven't yet.

Delicious Cheesesteak Sub with everything and fries!
    Desiree C.

I was craving a cheesesteak and used Yelp to find a sandwich shop nearby. I didn't even read the reviews but chose this spot because it was close and actually right next door to a sushi restaurant I frequent. When I walked in, the place appeared clean and it smelled good. I was greeted and placed my order. While waiting for my food I noticed the "Daily Special" & also studied the menu. They are reasonably priced and offer a vast selection of menu items for breakfast & lunch... all kinds of breakfast sandwiches & platters, Ramen noodle soup, and of course what I specifically visited them for, sub sandwiches! My food came and I opted to dine in. It was delicious, seasoned well, and the fries were hot and crunchy on the outside yet soft in the middle like I prefer. I tried to eat the whole thing but couldn't so I requested a bag and was charged 5 cents. Honestly, that's the only problem I have with this spot. It's odd to me to charge a customer who purchased food from your establishment, for a take-home bag for leftovers. I know inflation is going on but I don't think that was the best way to save money or cut costs. Even though that tidbit disturbed me, my food was tasty therefore I do plan to return to try other items.

Spicy Italian sausage, egg and cheese
    Rachel H.

Stumbled upon this spot recently and tried a few breakfast sandwiches. The regular sausage egg and cheese was our favorite (they stack two sausage patties on the sandwich), but the spicy Italian sausage egg and cheese was delicious too. The coffee was your typical diner coffee. I didn't realize it was Korean-owned, so I definitely want to come back to try the bulgogi. This is a quaint mom and pop shop that I'm happy to support.

    Korean beef with rice

We had a delicious tuna melt sandwich, nicely toasted and korean beef with rice. It is one of the best I had. The breakfast food look delicious and plan to try next. This place is in my neighborhood but I just don't think of them.

Western omelette with wheat toast, hash browns, and hot green tea.

This is one of those places I wish I had discovered sooner. I usually have Chinese takeout for dinner from Great Wall (also located at this strip mall), and every time I walked by the Elkridge Deli Cafe, I saw it was closed. So I wondered if they were in business or not. Then subsequently, I saw the business hours of 6 AM-3 PM. After checking out the reviews and what they had to offer, I decided to pay a visit. The restaurant is small, with only a few tables plus some seats at the counter. But it has a nice quaint atmosphere, a very pleasant mom and pop flavor to it. The women that work there are very friendly, greeting you as you come through the door. It was busy on my first visit from last summer; a full lunch time crowd, but I was able to get a seat at the counter. From just the initial visit, I could tell they have a thriving business with a lot of regulars that both ate in or had pick up. It seemed like the patrons and owners know each other on a first name basis. I tried their Korean BBQ Bul-Go-Gi sub with fries on my first visit (didn't want to have the same old, same old cold/hot subs -- I can go to Subway for that), and it hit the spot. Hot and moist meat; spicy but not too spicy; I didn't have to wash it down with a drink to cool off my mouth with every bite. Although as in the case with having hot subs, the rolls got a little soft and soggy after a while, so I used a fork and knife to finish the rest. I had their western omelette breakfast platter (with toast and hash browns) on a more recent visit, and that too was delicious -- nice and piping hot, with the cheese, meats and veggies oozing out. I like that they prepare your dishes like home cooked meals, as opposed to the fast food variety that's been sitting under hot lamps.

My husband had a combo of sausage gravy over toast, eggs, house-made sausage patties, and country potatoes. Eggs were perfectly cooked, fried hard and a little crispy - just the way my husband likes them! Sausage is a little different but delicious. The potatoes had no grease and I couldn't stop eating them. I had the Belgian waffle with two very flavorful scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Now for the best part - the waffle arrived with regular warmed syrup AND warmed Bananas Foster Butter Rum syrup. It was the most delicious syrup ever! They sure knocked it out of the ballpark with this!!! I actually had some of both syrups on my waffle! Decadent! Our server, Stiven, smiled the entire time, offered suggestions and was very polite. Nice clean restaurant and bathrooms. There is outdoor seating with beautiful aqua umbrellas, tables and chairs. Servers were constantly out there, so you wouldn't be ignored. Thank you for a great experience! Btw, we just discovered that Another Broken Egg Cafe has opened near us in Fairfax, VA, so we will be going there soon.

Rather than being greeted or seated, I was handed a menu across the counter and instructed to return to the same counter when I was ready to place my order. Hoping to start simply, I requested a coffee. I was given a mug and told the coffee station was self-service. Regrettably, that mug should have been inspected more carefully before use. After preparing my own coffee and taking the first sip, I noticed an unpleasant waxy sensation on my lips. A quick glance at the rim revealed the unmistakable mark of lipstick from a previous guest. It was both unhygienic and deeply off-putting. The food itself did little to redeem the experience. The omelette arrived topped with onions that were cold and soggy, and the interior was filled with undercooked egg that had an unappetizing, gelatinous texture. The French toast, meanwhile, was notably dry and lacked the richness and balance one would expect from a well-executed brunch staple. I make a point of supporting local, independent establishments whenever possible, often choosing them over chain restaurants. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations and left me wishing I had made a different choice.
