Beef Pasta With Tomato Sauce, Pineapple Bun, Beef Rice Noodle With Chicken Soup, Little Bear Lemon Tea, Hot Hk Milk Tea

I've been hunting for good HK cafes in nyc with my fam. While we usually prefer hole-in-the-walls in Brooklyn and Chinatown, we recently hit up Sing NYC, a trendy spot serving HK cafe food with a playful twist. While the pricing is higher than our go-to HK cafes, their dishes are presented beautifully and most importantly, remind us the taste of home. Their West Village location is a mix of space and camping themes. The backyard dining area is cozy and warm even in winter. There isn't any HK cafes in the area so it's worth a visit. *Slippery Egg Over Rice w. Beef 滑蛋牛肉飯 $14.99** MUST ORDER!! It reminded me of the slippery egg over rice I used to get from a back alley open-air food stall in Hong Kong. The omelette was silky and smooth, with a savory note from the cheddar cheese. The rice was drizzled with soy sauce for a more umami flavor. I got the lunch combo for $17.99 with a cup of HK style milk tea. Their milk tea was good and I loved the nostalgic mug they used. *Beef Rice Noodle w. Chicken Soup 牛肉雞湯米線 $16.99 ** A surprise hit! The rice noodle was smooth, accompanied by the sweet and clear chicken soup. It was a fancier version of 譚仔, a popular mixian chain in HK iykyk. *Beef Pasta w. Tomato Sauce 蕃茄牛肉麵 $14.99 Exactly what I expected from a hk cafe: nothing fancy, just ketchup spaghetti with black pepper but it was simply delicious. *Pink HK Style French Toast 草莓櫻花漏奶華 $9.99 To be very honest, growing up in HK, I've never seen "漏奶華" french toast until recently. I guess it is a trend influenced by xiaohongshu. The toast was deep-fried to perfection with crunchy golden edges and a custardy center. It was surprisingly not as heavy as it looked, as the foam on top was light and fluffy. *Pineapple Bun 菠蘿包 $3.50 *Little Bear Lemon Tea 小熊凍檸茶霸王杯 $8.99

I honestly love Sing NYC. It's a solid breakfast/brunch place and I think their meal deal is pretty affordable and you can try a lot of different things. I love the black pepper pasta, shrimp curry egg thing, and cute ice bear coconut latte.

Solid HK cafe! They have a location in Flushing and I'm so happy they have another location here in the city now. We got the set for 2 and chose the: Curry Fish Ball, Slippery Eggs and Shrimp Rice, Black Pepper Beef Pasta, Golden French Toast, HK Milk Tea, and Lemon Tea. My favorite was the Black Pepper Beef Pasta, which had a really strong black pepper and fragrant taste. Would love to dine in next time and eat everything hot and fresh too.

Really huge variety of food, all at an affordable price especially in Greenwich Village. The Slippery Eggs Over Rice with Shrimp is my favorite. Simply yet comforting and delicious. I was really surprised by the Hong Kong-style French Toast as well because I usually prefer savory foods for lunch, but it was a satisfying sweet treat. Really vibrant place and chill spot. Every dish is actually a larger serving size than it appears. The bear ice cubes are so freaking adorable too.

Takeout - Slippery egg and beef over rice entree, and cold HK lemon tea

Ordered takeout for lunch one day. I love how carefully packed it was and it came with a nice reusable bag! Got the slippery egg and beef over rice entree, and cold HK lemon tea. Both were very good. My review is based off the quick delivery, packaging, and the food that I ordered. I've set to try their other entrees or maybe even dine-in!!

A very worthy addition to the Greenwich/NYU/Washington Square neighborhood with a modern twist to classic Hong Kong "cha chan tang" restaurant. Pineapple bun was dense and tasty and classic. Loved the texture and the balance of sweet and fluffy. The best pineapple bun I've had near the NYU area. The Spicy Noodles were delicious. Broth has a nice kick to it and it's tasty and filling. Lots of seafood too. The rice with chicken comes with a Malaysian curry sauce and it's very flavorful. For next time, I'd get the egg without cheese but I'm sure many will enjoy that. Overall, a super nice find, and very good food! Cool decor too.

Casual and cute, Sing is a Hong Kong style diner that serves delicious comfort food! My date and I opted for the two-person meal which comes with an appetizer, two entrees, two drinks and dessert. I had ambitious hopes that I would be able to order a second dessert but the portions were generous and the food was so good that we polished off each dish. The lemon tea was so refreshing. I already know I'll be back for that, especially in the summer. The dessert I wanted to try was the pineapple bun with ice cream and I'm determined to go back and have that! The service was quick and efficient! We were surprised with how quickly the food came out! Staff were very attentive.

This food is isn't mindblowing but added a star for friendly service and cute outdoor seating in the back. I'd recommend the slippery eggs over rice, their pineapple buns, HK style french toasts, and their cute bear drinks. The pastas were okay, they're the usual pasta with sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors of the slippery eggs and the chicken chop. Wish I tasted more lemon wasabi in the pineapple bun burger, but i really liked the pineapple bun itself! Overall, this is a nice spot for quick bites if you're in the area. What we ordered: two person set meal ($48.93) (slippery eggs over rice with Malaysia style curry chicken chop, abalone + seafood rice noodle chicken soup, Sihai fish ball with curry sauce, little bear lemon tea, hot Ovaltine with polar bear, HK style french toast) mixed appetizers plate ($12.99) little bear milk tea ($8.99) beef pasta with tomato sauce ($13.99) beef pasta with black pepper sauce ($13.99) chicken chop pineapple bun burger with lemon wasabi ($13.99) boil vegetables with scallion oil ($7.99) pineapple bun with ice cream ($6.99) pink hk style french toast with strawberry ($9.99)

While the food was pleasantly presented and the price point is fair for what you get, the food is ok. Service could be more organized, especially during busier times. I came on a weekday afternoon and it was surprisingly quite busy. There aren't many tables available so my group of 3 had to wait quite a while. They need to get their waitlist properly set up and ensure staff do a better job at seating guests promptly and fairly. Once tables became available (as folks finished eating), people did not abide by the line order and rushed to claim tables. Even folks or originally ordered takeout due to the long line decided to change their mind and get seated. This makes for a frustrating experience overall. Ordering is efficient once you're seated; you can scan a QR code at the table and order directly from your phone.

INCREDIBLE Hong Kong-style café and I'm completely hooked! We really enjoyed the food and drinks

I ordered the food to go. There's two kiosks to order the food to go. You can dine in and tell the server how many people are in your party. Food is good and there's places to sit. Would recommend coming here to eat! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5

HK style food. Very nice atmosphere in the back area. It has heaters there since it's enclosed outdoors. The back area can fit bigger groups. The front area tables can only fit max 2 people per table. The only thing is that the chairs and tables are lower in the back. Staff are friendly. They have a 2-person set with a selection of 2 entrées, 1 appetizer, 2 tea bear drinks and 1 toast dessert for about $48. Can add other items and share too.

    So good

Sing NYC is so good. This was my first time here and I enjoyed myself immensely. The food was so good. And the service was very friendly. I love the area Sing NYC is located in. Highly recommend this place.

Shrimp dumplings were fine but the fried noodles with pork had the worst quality pork I've eaten since moving to NYC.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

OMG-I just enjoyed one of the most delicious and flavorful Ahi Tuna Poke Bowls EVER!!! Run, don't…read morewalk to try this! It was so delicious. See my photos. The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. So, the one I have dined at is ON THIRD AVENUE, at EAST 39th Street. Look for the Red Umbrellas outside, at the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. Enjoy!!!

I would rate this a 4.5 instead of a 4 but Yelp doesn't do half ratings lol…read more Yesterday, I was around the neighborhood and noticed Wagamama while wanting lunch. I remembered i liked my experience going to one in London in 2024 and decided to go. I love how attentive the wait staff are, a little too attentive. A waitress, she had long hair and a nose ring, approached me when I was just glancing her way during eating. I didn't need anything, but I appreciate the favor. That same waitress gave me my receipt too early like she wanted me to leave ASAP. This was right before I asked to look at the desserts after I finished my meal. A "Would you like some dessert?" would have be appreciated. Cedrick, my principal waiter, was phenomenal. He decided to take care of me after no one was at the hosting desk for 5 minutes after I arrived. I had the chicken potsticker ramen and it was delicious! The potsticker was seasoned very well: my favorite part. To drink, I had the Asian Arnold Palmer and it was a cute drink! Only downside is the sweetness was not even distributed through the drink, even after I mixed the drink. Even though I had an issue with the service, I saw how caring they were (he looked like a manager now) to a family that came after me with organizing their seats and getting a baby chair. I just wished they gave me the same respect instead of rushing me out the door.
