We loved Sip! The inside is so nice with the color scheme and the layout. It's got a very cozy and welcoming vibe. We stoped a few times for coffee and then later during the day to have buffalo wings and to play a board game. The wings were so good that we ordered some to go as well. My friends and I went to Sip for the first time this past week and it was delicious! The staff was super nice. We ordered at the counter and they brought our food out to us and we had a very nice waitress who made sure we needed for nothing. And the restaurant itself is super cute with a wonderful patio, which we ate breakfast on! Will definitely revisit. read more

Absolutely LOVED our visit to Sip! We went for coffee, and if we had more time, we would've gone back another day for more. A very modern and cozy vibe to the space. I appreciated that they offered more than just sugar free vanilla for a sugar free option (sugar free caramel and sugar free hazelnut too) for their coffees. The staff is super friendly too! Did not have a good experience from the start to finish. Snooty waitstaff, limited indoor seating, no lids for cups (spillage when trying to find a seat). The lunch for my wife and I was very disappointing and inedible. The grilled cheese my wife ordered was just meh. I ordered a chicken sandwich and received a wrap, the first bite with the chicken was ok. The second bite with the pickled onion (which I didn't know it had) was absolutely disgusting. That was the last bite. Why would you put pickled onion on a sandwich. The worst thing about all of this is that it cost me $40 plus tip. I regret not asking for my money back. From here we went to the Coyote Roadhouse to get a quality meal. I would not recommend. Many other high quality restaurants that I would choose over this in Ephraim and Sister Bay. read more

Enjoyable experience with kids and granddaughters. Warm happy atmosphere with great little menu, coffee and smoothies. I highly recommend the potato waffles with your choice of toppings. In terms of the food, maybe our own fault, but with their mentions of fresh, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan in the description on their website, we expected healthier food offerings. Been there several times. I have a place in Ephraim and have been visiting for 42 years. I have never had a sandwich that good! The Bacon Benny Smash Burger swept me off my feet! AMAZING! What a treat Sip is! Loved the vibe and the food was delicious. So glad it was open and we tried it.

The coffee here is great but the service is not. They don't take customer's names and don't give receipts so people literally just come take coffees off the counter. They have forgotten my family's orders two days in a row now so we won't be returning. The barista is quite rude as well. Kind people and reliable service is what makes Door County so charming and this place just doesn't reflect that. I hope they can fix the bugs. read more

We have visited Sip on many occasions, but we have never been treated with the lack of hospitality as we were tonight. We walked in and went to the counter to place a beverage order prior to sitting down. We were not greeted with a "hello" nor asked if we were there for coffee and/or dinner. We were told to take the food and drink menus, have a seat, and return with our order. We proceeded to the counter to place an order. We ordered tacos and we were told that the kitchen does not allow the mixing of taco types (although we ordered and received mixed taco types on our last visit in March) and we wanted to order beverages. We expected more from the staff tonight, but they really failed in delivery, so we left without a beverage, and without dinner, and went elsewhere. There is a way to greet customers and make them feel welcomed at your establishment. As business owners ourselves, we typically greet customers with a minimal "hello" on our initial interaction with them and always treat them with a smile and genuine interest no matter what we may be in the middle of. read more

The drink we got was something akin to a white mocha iced latte (my wife ordered it), and although I would say it was sweeter than I prefer, it was done well. My marshmallow coffee drink was so good I went back the next day just to get another one. Unfortunately the line was out the door and we didn't have time to wait before heading out of town but that's just a testament to how amazing this place is!
