My friend and I had to order to dishes each and barely got full. The service is impecable. That, and the ambiance of the entire place is great. While on a visit to Fort Lauderdale, I popped in this little shop for some coffee and to use the wifi. It is located in a shopping strip with a Winn Dixie. Plenty of parking in the lot that is shared by all the businesses, and it sits right off US1. So, it's not hard to find. Walking into the store, I noticed the signage for wearing masks and the spaced out tables. So, they are COVID ready. Along with the many tables outside on the sidewalk, there were plenty of tables inside for a small spot and a few comfy chairs with one couch. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, and the decor was simple yet nice. The barista was super nice. So, instead of my usual coffee, I decided to order a Good Karma latte, which proved to be very delicious. Creamy and not overly sweet. It perked me up for my afternoon. Afterwards, I connected to the wifi, which worked with ease, and I was able to post up at a narrow table lining the window. My afternoon was set for a couple more hours of work, and I'm sure I'll be back to do the same this week. read more

Currently sitting in the building and am blown away to be honest. I asked the ladies what they recommend to eat, all three said get the avocado tomato basil toast..... it is absolutely delicious!! And I got a matcha tea with pumpkin spice sounds gross but it is amazing. The ladies behind the counter are such a joy, joking around, laughing, having fun and working to. This place is a boutique coffee shop nestled in a shopping plaza. The atmosphere is very chill and it definitely exudes the coffee shop feel. Looks dog friendly as there are a couple dogs in and outdoor. Regarding the menu, it was bigger than I was expecting. There is a wide selection of sandwiches and coffee so I ordered a a breakfast sandwich and a crack smoothie (which I changed to an iced coffee). The coffee was alright, with strong bitter notes, but the sandwich was good. The flavors did not blow me away but I think the pull of this place is the atmosphere. Plenty of seating for a Saturday morning. Ordered the cracked smoothie to try something new. Which immediately reminded me why I dont try new things. It has two bananas, iced coffee, mocha, and two shots of espresso. It tasted like licking the bottom of a coffee urn. Couldn't get past two sips. My boyfriend tried it and immediately changed his order to just an iced coffee... which tasted super "organic" and watered down. I Also had a turkey sausage bagel sandwich that was good. They have choices of cheese and bread so I got it on the croissant and it came with the aged cheddar. I ordered an iced latte with coconut milk. Heads up - it shows as a 12oz but the women ringing me up let me know anything iced comes in 16oz so you do have to size up. We found a little side counter to sit. They have tables and chairs inside like any coffee shop and tables lining the outside of the place so plenty to choose from. I really liked my sandwich!! The croissant and the cheese were sooo good! And the price for it was good since you can get something similar at a fancy coffee shop and be charged a little more. I'll definitely be returning. I'm not big on plain coffee and they had a ton of syrup flavors, blended ice drinks, teas, and other options to choose from. They also have wine and beer which is very cool to see at a coffee shop! I wasn't a huge fan of the green tea, but my vanilla iced cold brew was strong, flavorful and refreshing. The food menu isn't huge, but there is enough selection to satisfy a breakfast, lunch or snack craving. Besides all the standards (muffins, croissants, bagels) there are also some fun sandwich options. I went with a munster which had munster cheese, bacon and avocado on a toasted roll. This was simple, delicious and exactly what I wanted. The vibe is upbeat, the service is amicable and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating space. One Saturday morning, this man back there behind the counter made me the best completely foamless latte I ever had here, or anywhere, for that matter. Then another day, a young lady did the same thing. Perfectest no foam drinks. I'm mentally allergic to foam, to me its like drinking a dirty cloud for no reason. I just don't like it. And too many other places either can't or won't make a completely foamless latte, like I asked them to perform some mystical ceremony or something over my drink to make the foam be gone that they don't have time or effort to do. I digress. I've been coming to this coffee shop since before it was Sip and I must say that the service has brightened a bit and the changes in decor and design are lovely, still comfy cozy. They have a case full of baked goodies, from cupcakes to the regular croissant variants. Today I tried some eye crossing banana bread that a server ran though the toaster for me. It was so fresh and moist, you could taste the ripe bananas, it was so good to me. Hope they keep that, take my money! Looks like they still use intelligista for the coffee drinks, its still so good. It was desperately need after eating that generous portion of the bread pudding we had at Shuck N Dive. I do see they offer a large variety of coffee, both hot and cold. But I am a pretty simple guy when it comes to coffee, and so is my wife. So our order was pretty "boring": regular coffee with half and half for my wife, and I got my cafe Moca. It's close to their closing time when we got there, and normally you would not expect getting fresh coffee. However, it's not the case for this visit. My wife's coffee came hot, also tasted and smelled fresh. And the barista made my code Moca with great care right in front of me. And I always enjoy a touch of whipped cream in my Moca. So yes, 5 stars because the coffee tastes great. Service was pretty good. Free Wifi makes Yelping while having a nice cup of coffee easy. Service is always fast. It's usually packed every time I go and for good reason. They offer breakfast sandwiches such as ham and cheese croissants for as low as $4 but they have a bigger breakfast and lunch menu. Lots of drink options. Their iced chai frappe is my go to. The best I've had in a while. Their iced lattes are really good too and have cool unique names. Smalls start at about $4.50 for 12 oz. They have a good selection of milk alternatives as well such as almond, oat, coconut, soy, macademia and I know theres another one I can't think of right now. Great place and great rewards programs. I go about 1 to 2 times a week and receive $2 off often by simply putting your phone number or email. Definitely check it out, its also convenient because its in a plaza with a Winn Dixie, nail shops, liquor store, restaurants and more. Parking is free as well! read more

I have been hearing about how good Sip Java is for a while now but now I can verify the reviews are well deserved. We recently moved to the area and since it's within walking distance, it's become my new coffee spot. There are plenty of seating options and is very dog friendly. They have cold brew which is aces. My go-to drink has become the Iced Red Eye which is their cold brew with a shot of espresso. Plus, their breakfast sandwiches are good too. They also sell growlers of their cold brew but unfortunately were out when I have stopped in. Hoping they will have more soon because I would love to enjoy it at home, too. Sip Java definitely has a neighborhood café feel, and the staff is pleasant. An all around charming place to relax and caffinate. read more

A few weeks ago, a woman behind the counter, not sure if new or didn't understand English, screwed up our order. Ok whatever. We end up buying the juices. They suck. And not sure why a coffee place is selling juices when there is a juice/smoothie place 2 doors down. And today's kicker. I had my baby sitter take my son for a walk and mentioned if she could grab me an iced good karma. She ordered the same as I said I liked it. She took one sip and hated it. Kind of like a Starbucks but more cosy. Lots of parking as it's part of a shopping center. Coffee is pretty solid and reasonably priced. Avocado toast was tasty and the had some other good food options too. They have some seating outside too since inside is a little small. Good place to sit down, do some work on your computer, and enjoy some food/drink. read more
