The space is vibey with multiple places to sit: high tops, bar rail, lower level tables, patio and green space. They always have something interesting going on here whether it's themed brunches, Broadway Bar, girl dinners, events on the green or just regular pop in and order. The menu isn't massive but there's a decent variety of bar snacks and weekend brunch options. Also a good spot to have a quick drink before or after a Blue Barn theater production, which is right next door. We went to Sips on 10th for their girl dinner special. We were glad there were a few seats in the bar area as there was a private party in the main area. We asked to move to another open table as the speaker right above the table we were at was pretty loud, and the server was kind and obliged. The special came with a drink, choice of salad, some truffle chips and charcuterie for $25. You could also add a protein for an extra charge, chicken was $5. The Caesar dressing was creamy, the truffle chips were perfectly crispy. The charcuterie offerings seemed a little random but everything was tasty. Overall it was a decent amount of food for the price, but it felt like a $30+ for dinner on a Tuesday was a little much. Maybe would have felt more worth it if a basic protein came with the original price. Our server was quick, polite and took great care of us. This was a brunch stop for my wife and I. It's a pleasant neighborhood and a well appointed business. In addition to a tasty brunch, they have a great selection of champagne and sparkling wines. Parking is street side. Plan a bit of a walk in busy hours there. We were a block away. We didn't suffer from the walk, but if you have passengers that would find that difficult, go early or drop them off up front. The inside is clean and attractive. Came for the mimosa tree, stayed because brunch tastes better when it's served with a little flair and fizz. $20 for 4 mimosas? Yes please. We went classic with orange, cranberry, and pineapple, plus the monthly special--cherry limeade, which stole the show like the Britney Spears of brunch beverages (yes I'm still living in the late 90s lol). Orange came in last... sorry, but we're not here for Vitamin C overload. We split the avocado toast and breakfast burrito. Avocado toast was giving... baguette with identity issues. Not toasted, a little floppy, and topped with pre-made avo, balsamic, and chopped peppers. Interesting? Sure. Filling? Not even close. Now the burrito? Star of the plate. Crispy tater tots inside, no beans/sour cream (our call), added onions and fresh jalapeños--chef's kiss. Guac and queso were good, just wish there was more queso smothered on top. But overall? Solid win. The spot is small and gets warm fast, but the garage doors open up for some airflow, and the patio helped a bit. We were there right at opening, no resy needed, but I don't mess around when it comes to brunch plans. About a 20-minute walk from the downtown hotels, so close enough to earn your carbs. I've been to Sips on 10th twice now--once with a group of girlfriends and another time with a different group of friends, both for brunch. Overall, my experiences were pretty similar. The food is okay--not bad, but nothing that really blew me away. They have some good options, but it's not the best brunch I've ever had. However, they do have this amazing crunchy chili oil that makes any dish a thousand times better. It's definitely my favorite part of going there, but I am also a spicy food enthusiast!! They also have a mimosa tree where you can pick different flavors, which is a fun thing to order if you love mimosas for brunch. The service was fine--servers were nice but sometimes hard to flag down and not the friendliest overall. I've heard a lot of great things from other people, though, so maybe I just caught them on off days. The space itself is on the smaller side. One thing I noticed both times is that the music is played really loudly, which made it a bit hard to chat. Maybe that's just me, but it's something to keep in mind. Would I go back? Probably, if someone else suggested it. But it wouldn't be my first pick for brunch. read more

I was a little nervous about it, because their website did warn me that Sunday brunch can be fun and loud, and I hate to admit it but sometimes I don't like things to be too fun and too loud. I got the Lil Italy Eggs Benedict. Easily the best breakfast/brunch item that I have had at any establishments in or near the Old Market. The sausage patties were absolutely delicious, the sauce and eggs were perfect. I am not sure that the sautéed arugula wasn't actually spinach but that is not going to bother me. The sausage! I had the egg and avocado sandwich, which was large and had a plentiful serving of sriracha mayo. I also couldn't get enough of the truffle and rosemary tots on the side - two of my favorite flavors! This was a meal that was big enough that I anticipated saving half of it, but I ended up finishing it off. The rosemary tater tots were the best I've ever had! They were crispy and flavorful and were just as amazing as the Get In My Belly sandwich I had along with it. I came here for the first time for their Kentucky Derby party in 2024, and they threw a good one! They had craps and card tables on the patio outside, a plentiful buffet, and drinks including the classic mint julep and more. I came back in March with a couple girlfriends on a night out. We sat at the bar and had great service the whole time we were there. We ordered glasses of Prosecco, cocktails, and a bbq chicken flatbread that we noshed on while we watched the younger crowd enjoy a night out. The DJ was spinning some seriously great early and mid 2000s hits, so we were right at home reliving our high school fun times. You have to sit at the bar to get the half-price food, which was no problem as we arrived fairly early. Bartender was nice and offered suggestions for mock tails. For food, we ordered the Gouda sliders, Gouda mac & cheese, and steak Crostinis. Food arrived in a timely manner. The macaroni and cheese was not as creamy as I had hoped for. You have to ask for water though or they will not bring any to you. So we went our meal without water, we didn't know. My first mimosa came out very clearly dirty, with lipstick caked on the glass. Sips on 10th is a must-have in the Little Italy neighborhood of Omaha. I was in town for a music festival and wanted to load up with breakfast prior to gates opening. It wasn't insanely busy and it took absolutely forever to even get someone to take our drink order. After we ordered drinks our waitress just vanished into thin air and we had to walk up to her and ask to order. I was excited to try their charcuterie board I've been hearing about. We didn't call for a reservation but walked in and were seated shortly afterwards. There were 12 other patrons eating and drinking when we arrived so it wasn't packed. One server seated us and grabbed our drinks while another grabbed our order a few minutes later. We went with the brunch charcuterie board. I was surprised to see there were no other meats besides two pieces of smoked salmon when the menu stated other selected seasonal meats (see picture). The herb cream cheese was paired nicely with the berries and nuts. The pepper jelly tasted great as well. I personally am not a fan of salmon so I was sad to see no other options of meat to eat when the board arrived. Our server never checked on us again until time to deliver our receipt as well.
