    Skirt Steak

The chimichurri skirt steak was to die for! It was perfectly cooked and the whole carrots and baby potatoes were the best addition to the meal! I really enjoyed the frozen painkiller too but my friend had a margarita and said something tasted off about it. Service was good and it was interesting to learn parties can also be hosted in the back room here.

Not sure why this restaurant doesn't have an average of 4/4.5 stars! My sister and I were too stunned to speak when we walked in. The sun roof and natural light is truly breathtaking and the architecture of the bar and overall decor is breathtaking. We came for lunch and the food menu is simple, but is perfect for a farm to table restaurant. The chicken sandwich with the pickled slaw was great, the fish sandwich was a bit milder in flavors, but was light and flakey which made it good. Food was fresh and came out piping hot. Service was not as frequent as other places, but he was balancing the bar area, taking orders and tending to each table. When he did come to check in, the turn around for what we requested was quick.

When I tell ya'll it's probably been years since I stepped into Sisters! And I'm kinda mad at myself for staying away for so long. Me and a group of gals spent the day together. Talking, sharing stories and enjoying the beautiful day with brunch, a little thrifting and then a lazy walk. We ended up at sisters where we had some great cocktails and shared a bunch of small plates! Everything was really really good. I can't wait to go back and hope that it won't be as far and few between, as the last time.

For my 900th review, I have to highlight this beautiful Farm to Table in Brooklyn. (Sorry Queens!) Friendly staff, even the customers are friendly. While waiting for our items. We were talking to our neighbor who is a big Liberty fan so we unloaded the extra items from the fan appreciation ceremony we were at. Great food. We both ended up living the quinoa burger. It paired well with the tomato soup. We split everything in half which worked well for us. Great space. Everything is so relaxed and enjoyable. Go say hi if you are in the neighborhood.

Rocky start but strong finish. Sisters is a very cozy restaurant which would be an ideal location for a date or cocktails. The focal point of the large bar was rather nice as it illuminated its spirits and house mixers. Getting seated was no problem and I have to credit the hostesses for making a quick and strategic decision to allow for my group to be seated within secs upon arrival. The server was very polite and persistent while working through some communication challenges with the kitchen. The relayed information did create some confusion at the table but was able to be resolved by the owner who clarified the menu option and finished taking the order. The second order of the salmon didn't arrive correct with the substitution and we were ready to settle, fortunately the server was insistent the order was corrected and returned it to the kitchen. Once the meal arrived corrected it was amazing. I ordered the fried fish sandwich that was constructed very well. The brioche bun tasted like it was made in house, the fish itself was very flakey and tender without falling apart, and the sauce with the garnish paired well. I do wish a side of aioli sauce came with it because it was very good. The wings were sriracha based and likely cut in house. The flavor was unique and tasty. The salmon was perfectly cooked and could have used a bit more seasoning. The fresh cracked pepper and table salt added the final touch to enhance the flavor. Not pictured were the skirt steak and Brussels sprouts. Both were tasty and made cooked properly despite the communicated prep from the kitchen relayed to the table. Overall I'll return to the restaurant to try different options and to have more cocktails. The staff adjusted rather well considering the minor communication challenges and everyone left happy and satisfied with their meal. 3.9 out of 5

Came here for lunch. The place was beautiful decorated. The front of the restaurant is airy and bright while the back is darker and cool feel to it. The staff was amazing and super friendly. I wish the food was better. The french toast i ordered was under cooked. The center of the bread was super soggy and wet. The chicken sandwich was okay. The drinks were pricey and nothing special.

This place is so welcoming. The bartender and waiters personable and kind and the fried pickles with buttermilk ranch dressing and amazing.

I enjoyed my brunch at Sisters in BK. The restaurant is beautiful and well decorated. The food was good and the service was spot on. I ordered a matcha latte, a whiskey with elderberry cocktail , and the shrimp with grits as my main. The shrimp and grits were okay. I just wished for stronger flavors in the dish. For my own personal taste the grits were too watery. I asked for hot sauce to top it off: which greatly enhanced the meal for me. My friends ordered the Chilaquiles. Their food looked great and they had no complaints. This place was definitely packed. I highly recommend making reservations. Patrons in front of us attempted to get seats but were turned away as they were fully booked; even the bar seats were taken up at the time. What i appreciated most was the good service. We never felt neglected by our server and they also gave us enough time without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a good brunch spot give Sisters a try.

Sisters is a charming restaurant that serves farm to table food which is absolutely delicious. During the day, it's light and airy due to the sky light and design. At night, it's moody and sultry with low lights. Perfect for solo, friends or romantic dates, i would recommend Sisters for all of your needs. I've only been here for dinner and drinks but in the 3 times I've been, it's never disappointed. The first two times I've come here, I've sat at the bar and the service there has always been attentive and enjoyable. The drinks are cute and fun- my go to is the Orpheus. It reminds me of a tropical island everytime i drink it. I had the skirt steak for dinner and it was delicious- perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare- i was obsessed. The only thing i would say is that the service at the tables was just okay. Wasn't anything to write home about- my friend and i sat right against the wall at the entrance so it wasn't the best. And we fluctuated between two staff members. The woman was sweet and checked in at appropriate times. The man popped in and out randomly and it was confusing on who we should order with- especially we couldn't order another drink before we ended the night. But nevertheless, it was such a good spot- good food, drinks, ambient light and the music isn't too loud. What more can you ask for?

Came here after First Saturday's in BK for a quick bite . There was a bit of a line before we sat eventually at the bar. The wings I'd for sure recommend, it has a little spice to them but I remember them being sweet too! 10/10! Whereas with the classic burger, nothing spectacular but still good!

Sisters is such a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in, with natural lighting and plants all around that make it feel so peaceful. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the mac and cheese which was creamy and full of flavor and had a perfectly cooked, juicy burger. We ordered matcha tea and The fresh orange juice which was very refreshing . Also the costumer service was 10/10 . Everything about our visit made it such a wonderful experience!

Had a welcoming and upbeat server, but the service was general slower and not rushed, 2.5hr for our meal. I was excited as the dishes sounded unique and promising but a lot of them fell short: The egg tonnato didn't have much flavor, the herb oil only adding a slightly grassy taste. I was excited for the hiramasa crudo, but it was bland and one note, even the mild pomelo overpowered the fish because of how little flavor. Fried anchovies were tasty and paired well with sage but the portion is so small for the price. What went well: sea bass was very well cooked, very soft, flaky, well flavored. Was under salted but I could add that myself. The pork was also well cooked, tender, generous portion of meat that paired well with the cherry. We finished off with the burnt caramel tart, which had a good flavor although the texture was on the softer side. I don't think the creme fraise really complemented it, but still tasty. There were some good dishes and Sailor is a vibe, but the price point and what we received I'm not sure if I'd return for a meal.

We were, however, a bit disappointed over recent times that they pulled back from their original plan and stated mission of including the service charge in the cost--it both seemed worker forward and made the cost seem more reasonable, with service charge built into the fixed price. Now the cost seems like any other nice restaurant--far above and beyond the printed menu price. Don't get me wrong, it is exceptional dinner and still well worth it, but a mental adjustment. Their rotating dinner menu (fixed menu, now 3 and 5 course options for different price points) is a brilliant move, meaning you can find something seasonal and new and inventive every couple of weeks. We can't afford to come every two weeks, but we do look forward to the new menu release every two weeks to judge our level of temptation. I'd also note that they apply their same model to breakfast--it is slow service, without bar service as far as we could tell. It was dinner speed at a more bustling brunch time. The food was still stellar--delicious sourdough breakfast sandwich and fabulous spiced pumpkin waffle (even if I had to fight for the advertised maple syrup)--but the service painfully slow. It works over a four course dinner with cocktails, but feels a bit more interminable as you stare at your number for breakfast for 30+ minutes--I think they need to adjust their approach here. Overall we are so grateful to have this gem in our neighborhood--fabulous food, great service... truly some of the best food and service in a neighborhood lacking great options for both. I know we are all feeling tariffs and inflation and cost of living, but the pricing approach/change has moved it from a "let's see the new menu every two weeks" to a more occasional splurge, and I'd be wary of the breakfast/brunch experience if you aren't prepared for a very leisurely day.

Beignet - unexpected, I really kept expecting it to be sweet but I'd get hit with the olive tapenade instead. The texture is nice, but I was a bit confused. Jewel box tomatoes - bright, fresh, and light. The mostly neutral but slightly savory feta gelato was very unique. Risotto - creamy, but still a bit of texture on each grain of rice. I loved the sweetness from the corn and richness from the squash. The peppers were delicious pops of flavor. Mille feuille - light and refreshing cream with a flaky exterior. Definitely come on Tuesday to save $16 (if the discount continues in the future). $83 for a high end-ish four-course prix fixe (includes tax and automatic service charge) isn't too bad in terms of pricing.

Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know.
