We live locally and had been to Sisters a few times in the past and it's always been good but this was the first time since they moved to the new location. My fiancé and I both got cheesesteaks and I can honestly say it is the best cheesesteak that I've had in New England hands down. They also have some gift type stuff, as well as a good selection of drinks, and ready made salads, sandwiches, and desserts. With the new space they now have a lovely little booth area that you can sit in as well as outdoor seating. The staff was all super friendly too, 10/10 would recommend. read more

How could we live here 8 years and not know this place! OMG. Well, Covid brings some rewards I guess. We won't eat in right now and decided to try a sandwich and soup here. These sisters are fantastic! The sandwich, Chicken Caprese with sun-dried tomato, basil aioli, mozzarella, balsamic reduction, & spinach was fantastic. Even the ciabatta was special, sliced thin so it wasn't overkill like usual. My husband said twice "They sure know how to make a sandwich." My buffalo chicken which I had over a salad with buffalo dressing was spicy like I like, a super little salad. For $11.50 something like that, I also got a cup of delicious clam chowder, not thin like I usually like but so tasty it didn't matter, ate every drop. Being part of the large workforce nearby, who only have a limited time to grab some eats, I can ATTEST that this spot DOES THE JOB and knocks it out of the park at doing it! I've got a trinity of go-to's I alternate between: chicken caprese, grilled cheese add bacon and tomato and the Dagwood. The latter was a classic at the former restaurant that existed here for years. We really wanted to like this place... sweet people trying hard... but the salmon salad sandwich made the lunch memorable in a very bad way. Bland at with a slight taste of fishy salmon though there was enough mayo for something to swim from one end of the sandwich to the other! We had this on bread instead of as a wrap which was the only bright spot since the bread wasn't bad. Bath continues to offer more delicious choices in deli, restaurant, bar and soon bakery (under construction). This deli is very good, located just across Rt 1 from shipyard. Bright and friendly they offer sandwiches, wraps and salads from super early in the morning to evening; unusual for a deli. My sevice was fast during lunch hour and there are a few tables to dine in. However, they serve salads in plastic clamshell containers and sandwiches on paper plates which are bit small for salads but you can ask for them instead of plastic. The food photos they post here are accurate but there are no real dishes which is understandable due to physical plant. Maybe some better paperware for dining in would help. read more

Very fast and VERY good. The menu is creative and fun, with a wide variety of choices including plenty of vegetarian options. I had the Butternut Squash and Apple soup for the second time, it is that good. The bread is very fresh and I like that they warm it up without crushing it in the heater. I am a weekly regular and have been for over a year. I am disgusted with the unprofessionalism i experienced today while on the phone with the co-owner in Bath, Maine. I was hung up on and when calling back I asked why I was hung up on and that I would like to complete my order(understandable I was annoyed and expressed that with my tone). I was told in a smart a** tone that if I dropped my attitude I could get my order. I hung up and called back asking to talk with the owner. The person answering the phone expressed she was the co-owner and could help me. I explained I was disgusted with how she dealt with the situation and that I spend over $80 a week and that I would not be coming there anymore. In her owns words" oh my, how will I ever pay my rent?! Just because I am a customer servant does not mean I need to take attitude from you!" This is the unprofessionalism and attitude that is ruining America. She was completely out of line and I can't believe I gave that much money to such a rude business owner. This is my first ever negative review in my life but I am disgusted that this woman treats people so poorly that helps keep her doors open. I will NEVER eat here again read more

We were in Bath for a fishing trip and stopped by for a quick lunch before heading back to our Airbnb for a nap. I'm glad we did! This place seemed to be a popular lunch spot - quite a few people eating inside and outside and even more takeout orders. There are lots of sandwiches to choose from. I had the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the one with the pork tenderloin and pepper Jack cheese. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches, and the portions were very big. Swung by here to grab a breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed! You can custom make the sandwich which is ideal. My favorite part of the sandwich that set it apart from others is the breakfast sauce! It's some kind of aioli, not sure exactly but delicious nonetheless. I visited Sisters Gourmet Deli in Bath today. It was my first "Sisters" experience, and my own sister recommended it to me. I'm not sure I even have the words to convey how delicious, fresh and AHHHHMAZING my sandwich was. I had the Macintuscan and savored every.last.bite. All three of my children had sandwiches, too - a grilled cheese with crispy bacon (OMG!) a grilled cheese (delish) and a Chicken Caprese (sub the sundried tomato sauce with the best honey mustard we've ever tasted in our entire lives). We all shared bites to get the full experience. We are ALL in agreement that we can't wait to go back again! I wish I had taken photos of the beautiful masterpieces we received! We had just finished a 4 mile hike nearby and were looking for anywhere quick and easy for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by Sisters Gourmet Deli! We checked out the menu online and debated over numerous sandwiches as so many sounded good. We settled on the FTE because it sounded like a sandwich we've never had before. We called ahead and were hoping that there would be some sort of sides offered once we got there since we didn't see anything on the menu. We pulled up to the cutest little shop with bright, gorgeous flowers welcoming us. When we got inside we saw a small fridge with potato salad or cheese tortellini pasta salad. My first instinct was to go for the potato salad, but I asked the girl at the counter what she liked more and I'm soooo glad she recommended the tortellini because it was absolutely delicious. Probably the best pasta salad I've ever had! We also grabbed a bag of chips and got tempted by the yummy looking berry scones on the counter. Our sandwich was piled high with salami, ham, pepper jack, red onion, lettuce and a spicy cilantro yogurt sauce on some fantastic focaccia bread. Although it was plenty of food for us to share, I wish I had gotten my own sandwich (and tortellini!) because it was that good! There are tons of other sandwiches on the menu I want to try like the dagwood, the cordon bleu, and the two little pigs just to name a few. I can't wait until we're in the Bath area again!
